What is it? and What does it do?

SMARTManager is a tool thats directly aimed at keeping your scripts running, untill you want them to stop. (by all means this also requires good scripts which are actually capable of running passed 6 hours).

Okay so we all probarly know that once the Runescape client as been loaded, 90% of the time after 6 hours or so we get a RS update which requires the client to be reloaded to continue botting, This is exactly what this program does…But also a handfull of other features too..

When running SMARTManager, you have the following options, You can hide/show a selected scripts corresponding Simba/Smart windows, So you could be running 3 scripts, and have everything hidden… the tool will also minimize to a small tray icon.

We also have the option to set priority of running simba/smart process's, This isnt just for show… It does actually change the thread's priority.

ADDED IN 0.2: version 0.2 now features character management when running scripts, Basically, when you want to run a script you just add it like before… If you dont feel like editing each script for each of your botting accounts, you can enter the account details in SMARTManager and the script will use those accounts.

ADDED IN 0.2: along with the character managment, i found it was almost certainly required to add encryption… Yes custom encryption keys have been added so you no longer have to store any of your account details in scripts or in plaintext anywhere!

Features

SMART Restart - Once a script is running via SMART Manager, if the user closes the corresponding simba/smart, it will get restarted automatically, ALSO on any runescape update (6 hour limit) the client will get restarted.

Hide & Show Simba - This feature will hide all the corresponding script's windows.. that includes Simba, SMART and the Simba console window. By default nothing is hidden, and once hidden you can show them again of course.

Priority - This is very usefull if you have alot of scripts running, some scripts need better accuracy or timing, if thats the case you should set the priorty higher. NOTE: setting every priority to there max setting doesnt necessary mean that everything going to run faster.

No Editing Needed - The main idea behind this was to allow the less educated be able to run without modifying any files or adding procedures to the script

Character Management - in version 0.2 character management was added, this means that you no longer have to edit each script to enter your username/bankpin/password, just enter them in smart manager when running scripts…ALSO dont forget you dont have to.. its optional

Encryption - You NEVER have to store your account details in scripts or in plaintext anywhere again! since 0.2 Encryption as been added so any accounts used with smartmanager are encrypted…ITS HIGHLY recommended that first time running SMARTManager that the first thing you do is set YOUR encryption key


Fail Safe - SMARTManager now also uses a new feature i called Fail Safe…You can enable this for each script, just select the script and then tick the box labeled Fail Safe What does this do? It should only be used when you see that SMARTManager isnt passing the 6 hour limit

Force Restart - You can now enable the force restart option, this will restart simba if it detects that the script for some reason stopped. USE WISELY, NOT FOR BEGINNERS

Random Event Detection - When you enable this feature, smart manager will display a box in the top left of your screen if a random event was found, (also optionally play a alarm sound) this is very usefull and HIGHLY recommend because if your at your pc you can solve it yourself!

Restart on compile errors - This is a feature which tackles them very anoyying random compile errors which are fixed when restarting simba, so basically… this will restart script again if there was a compile error… Of course make sure script runs fine first..

Terminate on success - This new feature will allow you to stop scripts from restarting when they completed there loads/or ran out of supplys… Basically… when you enable this option, if SMARTManager detects that Simba was "Successfully Executed" then it will not attempt to restart it… This may not be ideal in some cases, but if you want to stop your scripts if you run of of supplies etc, then use this.

SMART settings - You can also have SMARTManager automatically change smart settings such as graphics and smart refresh slider when it launches and restarts scripts..

Instructions

NOTE: SMARTManager as come a long way since 0.1, So alot of information in this main post may of changed aswell as the pictures below… Althou the same setup applies, SMARTManager is an extremely easy program to use, and you can download right now without reading and you should be able to figure it out.

Recommended(optional): I recommend creating a new folder and placing SMARTManager inside, As it creates 2 files, it just keeps things neat.

IF YOU HAVE ANY PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF SMARTManager DELETE all the files, and make sure you delete settings.ini

1: Once you have downloaded SMARTManager (Source and EXE download below (you dont need the source file)), The first time you run it you will be required to add your scripts and set the simba path and optionally setting a encryption key, Enter the path of the simba directory marked number (1) in the picture below OR select the Choose Path button and select the simba directory, after you have done this, you can enter a password into the encryption key box labeled (2) on picture below i recommend doing this it will keep your accounts safe! Then click Save (3) Example: C:/Simba

2: Now you can begin adding scripts to SMARTManager, Simply enter script path in the box marked (4) in the picture below OR hit the browse button to browse for a script, You can also enter the runescape username and password that you want the script to use here (details are encrypted when stored) and hit Add Script (5) now that script as added, NOTE: if you want to use same script on more then one character you will need to add the script again for the other characters.

NOTE: You dont have to enter your username/password, if you leave this blank it will use the settings thats inside the script your running.

3: Now select the Script Manager (6) tab at the top of the program, This is where you choose a script to run OR change the scripts option's. Okay select a script that you already added by clicking on the name, IE: picture below marked (7)

4: Now that you have selected a script, you can start the script with the button below Start Script, picture below marked (8).

5: Now your script will be running, THAT IS ALL THATS REQUIRED to get your script running passed 6 hours. To STOP a script (exit/simba/smart) you MUST select the running script and choose Exit Script For all the other features that SMARTManager offers, either keep reading, or you should be able to use them with ease via the GUI.


Other Settings

BE SURE TO CLICK "CHECK FOR UPDATES" in the program every day, as if any bugs are foun they will be fixed asap.

Of course that isnt all you can do, Once you have a script running you can change the priority by selecting a running script then selecting the priority in the drop down box.

You can also select a script, and then choose Hide Simba/Smart this will hide all the scripts corresponding simba/smart windows, You can show these again by clicking the same button.

If you select Remove Script this will just remove a script from the SMARTManager.

Last but not least, You can minimize the program to a small tray icon, So once you have hidden your bots, you can select the Minimize to tray button, and to open the program up again to show your bots you just need to click on the SMARTManager icon near your PC's Time and date (Bottom Right corner)

FOR ALL OTHER FEATURES click a script and select "Properties" you can enable many features here!


More information about the encryption and encryption key

I highly recommend that you set your own encryption key, this MUST be done when you first run the program, if you already added scripts, you will need to delete the settings.ini file, then open the program and set a key right away.

All account details used within SMARTManager are stored in settings.ini, there always encrypted, By adding your own custom encryption password… this means everytime you start SMARTManager you will be required to enter it…without this no one will be able to read your username and passwords.

Its a very good feature, and it also means you wont ever need to store your account details in scripts.


FAIL SAFE OPTION:

You should only use the fail safe option if your scripts are not restarting properly, OR if you just want to restart your script before the RS update at set time intervals.

When you click the Fail Safe tickbox you will be displayed with a new input box (as of v0.6) you can enter here in milliseconds the interval that you want the script to restart simba/smart. Leaving this at the default means that it will restart after 6 hours (rs update time).


Script Scheduler (added in 0.94)

SMARTManager now includes a script scheduler, You can now specify the exact time and date when you want a script to start and finish. Here's how you do it…

Select a script, and click Properties, In the properties dialog at the bottom select "Enable Scheduler", Once you ticked the box you can select a date by clicking on the date and time boxes, Also you have to enter the time, If you want the script to lauch right away then leave the start time at default.

Times are in 24hour format, so there easyily editable.



Important Notes

Please make sure you read the following.

If at any time you experience any errors or cant get it to work, try deleting settings.ini then restarting the program, if you need more help post in this thread.

IF YOU exit the smart manager program whilst you have selected scripts running, they WILL be closed. This is a cleanup function added to the ExitApp routine.

IF YOU want to use the same script on multiple accounts, i suggest you add the same script with diffrent account details via smartmanager, this means you dont have to make clones of your scripts with diffrent account details inside them.

I should also mention that, if you are using the security.sex extension for Simba, first time it detects a rs update, the security extension will prevent the script from creating the ID.crashed file, so if you are using it…The first time it detects a rs update, you will have to simply choose "ALWAYS allow this location" or something along those lines.. Its only a local path.

Notes For Developers (how it works and stuff)

EDIT 2:

SMARTManager 0.9 Changes

- Change DEFINE's.
SMART manager now adds 2 defines to your script.. You dont need to worry about these at all.
But they come in handy if you want a script to perform diffrently if the script is running inside SMARTManager… OR if SMARTManager as already restarted the script.

Examples:
Lets say that your script as a form, When SMARTManager restarts this script.. The form will show thus preventing the script from running.
You can simply add the define so the form ONLY shows the first time you run the script.

Or lets say you wanted a script to act diffrently when running inside SMART manager…

A great example of this is, Lets say you found a good script, but that script as alot of trouble figuring out where it is after SMARTManager restarts it… The script could have been half way through walking a path? Or anything right?
You could simply fix this by doing the following..

First, add

MarkTime(STimeRan); // of course declare STimeRan above

then in the main loop of the script.. Right before the first procedure executes.. you could put

wait(10000); // this make's sure that the script dont continue untill its restarted

What that essentially means is, If the script was ran by SMARTManager, And if the script as been running for over 5.8 hours.. Then the script will get restarted right there, This is great, because we know that we restarted right before the first procedure right? Thus when the script starts again, it can continue without any problems. Also you should make sure the time you use above (ie: 19440000) comes before the RS update… else smartmanager will restart it anyhow and you script maybe in the middle of a path or something

So there are 2 Defines..

{$DEFINE SMARTManager} // This one is always present inside Smartmanager
{$DEFINE SMARTManagerRestart} // this one is only added AFTER the script as been restarted

- Running MSI With SMARTManager -

MSI is now fully supported! How does this work?

Well, its quite simple, MSI now as the ability to detect if its being ran via SMARTManager, IF it IS, then it will show the MSI form ONLY the first time when you run, Then you setup your player/scripts like normal via the MSI form. Now this is very important… When MSI prompts you to save your settings make sure you click save. Now when SMARTManager restarts MSI it will use the settings that you used before, and will close the form automatically. Enjoy!

Explanation:
Basically what the above does, Is signal to MSI that if MSI is being run with (and only with) SMARTManager, Then MSI should show its setup FORM only once, After this the script will use the saved settings, So make sure you have MSI remember your settings (save them).



- Fixed Character Management Bug

So there was a bug when sometimes entering user/pass. This as been fixed (thanks for bug reports)


Okay so first i began writing this in C++, i found myself writing needless functions/methods for such a simple program, so i choose a high level language that my old bot/script engine was designed around. AHK.

I have 50% of the code writtin in c++, so if at any time i need to add anything that AHK isnt capable of it wouldnt be too much work porting the code, Im also starting to wish i write as an extension for Simba… If it gets used…. I WILL!

SIMBA EXTENSION?

Okay so how does it actually work…its really quite simple… the program monitors the running script/simba/smart using 2 methods.. the first…. once the process is created it just checks the process handle and if it not exist, it will do some cleanup, then restart, Now the more intresting one for rs updates… Ok so once you choose to run a script, a temp copy of the script is copyied to /TmpScripts/ and then it is assigned a uniqe id, when the file is rewritten (the temp copy) a procedure is added to the script which is called on RS update vis srl_procs, which creates a placeholder file UNIQUEID.crashed the program monitors these files, and if it detects one, it will do some clean up, load script settings and reload the script/simba. SIMPLE + EFFECTIVE.

Why is the program size pretty large? As i said, its written in a high level language (AHK), when compiled it carrys the languages librarys around inside the compiled executable.

- added timed fail safes, read more above.
- fixed awttoolkit window
- fixed incompatibility issues with alot of scripts
- now uses regular expressions which are much more reliable

TODO:

Add character support? - What do you guys think? it will allow you to enter username/password into the program, which will then enter it into the script thus not needing you to create multiple copys of the script for diffrent characters.

Source: I threw all the source in 1 file so its easyier to compile, if you wana compile it yourself its ridiculously easy, Sorry for the messy code, my first language is C++ and Perl, havent really touched AHK since my old bot engine which was a modified version of AHK since its open sourced :-)


Script Manager List

In the script manager list you can see the script name and path, followed by the following in order

Script Name and Path - the script name and path
Status - current running status
Restart Times - number of times smartmanager as restarted the script/smart/simba
Character - character the script is using, if not using character managment this will be none
Total Time - total amount of time script as been running, this DOES NOT reset on each restart
This Time - total amount of time script as been running, THIS DOES reset on each restart


FAQ / HELP

Question: Which file do i need to download?
Answer: All you need is the SMARTManager0.2.rar, once downloaded extract it using WinRAR.

Question: How come some scripts dont restart, They just sit at login screen, and when i login i get "Client Token Failure"
Answer/Solution: The reason for this, is because the script your using is poorly coded, and its not checking LoggedIn enough, thus not detecting RS update, If this happens, just select the script this is happening with and tick the "Enable Fail Safe" checkbox on the Script Manager tab, you can leave the time to default which is 6 hours, and you will now have no further problems! (dont forget to enable it again if you close SMARTManager.

Answer: Delete SMARTManager, and ALSO settings.ini, then download the latest version below

If you claim everything above with no fishy business, you will get mad respect. I'm not going to run this though until the source is posted. I am doing a virus total scan though and so far so good. Nothing came up from 43 scan on virus total.

By default nothing is hidden, if you select a running script you can toggle to hide the windows, also you can minimize smart manager to a tray icon, basically you could have 3 bots running and have everything running smooth and looking clean.

I think this will not only solve the 6 hour issue, but help out new users to run scripts. It works as a separate client that stores all your scripts and you can run whichever ones you want. Absolutely loving it so far. Assuming all goes well, I'll add a section to my setup tutorial for this. Now all that's left is for scripts to create a progress report that continues to add through the restarts. :rolleyes:

Thanks alot, Okay ive added source and updated the bugs. ran it last night and its running my own scripts flawlessly.

It also detects if the script already as crashsmart in it if it does it gets removed, in replace of the Smartmanager procedure.

Window hide bugs are fixed, only thing is sometimes on window show you get a extra window… Which someone must of been hiding in the first place :-)

Well the priority setting actually sets the corresponding threads/process's to a higher priority, just as if you were to do it manually from within windows.

I plan on adding account management, so along with script path users enter there character username/pass, i left this for now as ive been away for quite sometime and people might get scared entering details.

Im going to have to look into writing this as a Simba extension, or into a DLL which we can load, that would be much cooler.

PS: Currently working on my own rs client for simba in C++, SMART seems to be working perfectly however i want to learn more about both the client and simba.

Yes as smurg states, this comes down to the quality of the script, And would be pointless adding it, as it would interfere with breaks and what not.

Offtopic: With other bots ive worked with, we usually have a seperate Random, which deals with unexpected logouts, ill mention this in the new Randoms thread.

I'm interested. Some of the methods I used for the new randoms are kind of slow, but I don't think adding them to a plugin would help that much. I'm curious to hear about your method and how it transfers to PS (or pascal if you're using a plugin).

Well im currently porting it to pascal, if its too slow we could use a plugin maybe.

Im far from upto date on SRL, But ive not seen anything else thats quite simular.

I know when I left I had 15gb of hard drive space then out of no where I accesed it and It completely filled.

I had nothing downloading either.. so I don't know what it was

You dont need to use the source file, thats just there for those who are intrested, and to show the program doesnt contain any virus or stealer code.

Why would you want to do that? This already detects rs updates and restarts scripts…

Ive had 3 scripts running all day, running another session now whilst i sleep.

So far no bugs, i fixed a bug in the current version but ill update tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply. Yea i did delete it anyway as i knew it was no harm but its crazy that all of a sudden boot logging was enabled. Dont ever recall enableing it. Was just freaked out thats all since im still not at my computer desk right now..

@i3egoHan, the version I'm running (first released one) doesn't increase the "Times Restarted" column. It still says 0, despite the Information memo says "Detected client crash… Restarting…". Not a major issue, obviously. Everything else is working well so far.

Okay guys… Ive added ALOT of code to this project..

Been working on it since this morning..

We now have the following features:

Character management.

Encryption.

Okay so now the first time you run SMARTManager, you can set an encryption key… This is used for encryption your account details whilst storing them.. So you no longer have to keep account details in your scripts.

And now character managment…When adding scripts in 0.2, you can specify the account username and password and also a bank pin, the script that your adding will use these details.

As mentioned above the account details will always be encrypted… Its recommend for added secuirty that you set your own encryption key… See main post for more info.

I really need testers, Wana get this 100% so i can begin working on other things.

Ive tested the current code for 6 hours, everything seems to be working fine.

Great, ive only been active in the scene again for a week or so, and havent had chance to take a look at the MSI scripts..

Wasnt sure if they setup players the same and whatnot

Yes of course, just leave the details blank when adding a script, then it wont change any settings within the script.

What script did you run this with? Can you post the simba debug and/or the script that was running inside the simba process which smartmanager opened.

Yes thanks, i already have these noted down and will be fixed with a new revision tomorrow. Also seems like SRL isnt detecting the rs update sometimes… (Due to bad scripts), ill add a second check so it will be restarted anyway.

The "Client Token" message is checked for in LoginPlayer() so my guess would be that the script isn't checking if the player is logged out.

Loving this! So much better and easier than using CRASHsmart.

Thanks for noting them, Ive been working on updates all day.. See main post and below, i fixed the SetupSRL issue, now using regular expressions for most the parsing.

Added fail safe (for those scripts that dont try to log back in)

Regarding your last bug report, I didnt see this myself neither was i able to re-create it in SMARTManager, maybe i fixed it accidently? hah if you could test in the latest version would be very helpfull

Hello, it seems you are runnig SMARTManager directly from the winrar archive… DONT DO THIS! Right click on the winrar file and extract the program before using.

This is due to bad scripting on the scripts behalf.. Not SmartManager, however in the latest version you can enable the "Fail Safe" which will force simba to restart after 6 hours… Only use it on scripts where you got the above problem

This is actually already been fixed in the version i posted a few hours ago.

Because im tight on time, and there was quite a few bugs, i really cant be bothered to keep a organised changelog :-)

But yeah, that problem should be fixed, as i noticed that too, when the process was restarted i didnt update the process ID's.

All should be fine now, let me know how it runs.

It wont restart if its in a random..

SMARTManager will only restart simba/script/smart when one of the following occurs:

1: On Runescape update (to pass 6 hour limit)
2: If something crashes
3: user closes simba manually (it will restart)
4: If using fail safe option and time as elapsed

Thus making it the perfect tool, to run your scripts with.

Very sorry, i just experienced the same thing, it was because the fail safe option didnt reset the time, so basically it tried to start an infinite amount of scripts.

Hope to hear from you, remember if for some reason you see the bot went passed 6 hours and account was just not logged in, this is due to poor script code. You can enable fail safe in this scenario and it will run

hey sorry erm quick question , i get that this manager restarts your smart for you but , the other time i was using it , it did Restart smart after 6hours I LIKE THAT! :D , But i read i few posts earlier and you said that it wont start if its in a random? but it did! lol , i woke up and saw my guy spam clicking in "leo's Grave digger Random" i would say he would have been doing that maybe after the restart for like 1hour? or so ? becuase i started the manager at mid night sharp and woke up at 7 ish am and … I was just wondering , if the manager does some how restarts logs in and is in random? can it terminate the manager fully, thus making it not restart atal , that is if its in the "random". Other wise every other aspect of your Manager is FANBACKFLIPINGTASTIC! :)

Yeah download latest version, But your problem sounds like a script inefficiency, SMARTManager will only restart if the client closes, or on a rs update, If your using the Fail Safe option then yes, it will restart the script no matter what.. so that could be the cause, try not using fail safe.

The progress timer ended at 6 hours and 2 seconds and the script had stopped and it was at the login screen.
It was definetly more than 6 hours as I started the script/Smart Manager at 9PM and checked it at 6:30 AM…
I'll let you know if it happens again, i'm running my Astral Crafter.

Looking through the code i see nothing wrong, I was running fail safe option last night and they was restarting fine.

Only thing i can say is..

Maybe you changed your system time back? This may have an effect on the time running function.

Do you have the latest version? (Sometimes i do silent updates, so its worth downloading again)

Remember only use the Fail Safe option if the script requires it… How do we know if it requires it? Well first try without fail safe, if the script doesnt restart then it needs fail safe.

Looking at the script you posted Fail safe option isnt needed, since your checking LoggedIn regularly.

Letme know what the next run go's like anyway!

0.4 which im running is working perfectly, this is very odd.

I dont see blank buttons? There "disabled" because you have stopped the script, it looks like you ran then stopped the script.

Please see main post for instructions how to use, Also try right clicking on smart manager icon and select "Run as administrator"

Let me know if any other issues, Since its working perfectly on Windows 7 64bit

And no, 0.4 is my first SMART Manager version.
Also, I might seem stupid, but I do alot of blackhat stuff (whaling etc…) so I don't have an AV :P

Shouldnt be required now, That was only when some INI values were added.

Yeah this version seems solid, 4 bots over night, 3 diffrent scripts with and without failsafe, each one got restarted twice, and all my bots are still running now.

It worked perfectly during the night!

The only reason that it will not restart for the RS update is if the script isnt checking LoggedIn(), since SRL only detects the rs update when its called.

Testing it out, looks good up-to-date.

Yes, if any details are in the script, and you entered details into the same script via smart manager they will be temporarilly used. (The original file will still have the old details, but when being ran it will be using the smart manager ones.)

I could add this, but the complexity isnt worth it since the only way you could continue proggys is insert yet another custom procedure which the user must setup with the script being used. So i doubt ill add this.

Script manager now shows time running of each script, there are 2 times, one is the total time since you started script… and the other resets everytime the script is restarted. So you can see how long to another restart and see total time.

Fail safe option - you are now displayed with a input box when you enable fail safe option, you can enter the amount of MILLISECONDS here, The selected script will then restart at this interval.

Some minor bug fixes, Faster window hiding.

Please post bugs have i havent given it a good test!

It's much easier if that's handled in the script, not SMARTManager.

It's just one script. I wonder if you could add a timer. Like if nothing touches the form after a certain amount of sections, run the form's start script method.

Well when it restarts, it reruns the script, right? By doing so, the form comes up again for the user to setup and if the user isn't around, that's kind of a problem. Simply clicking the button would work, yes, but the button would be different on every form, but every form has a TButton.OnClick event to close the form and continue on with the script. Only problem with that is SMARTManager can't know which button to call the event (since each form would probably have a different name).

im having a slight problem with the charfunction when i put my characters details in and then add the script it wont log into rs it only works when i put my char info into the script itself and when i find when i edit scripts to change the one that smartmanager is using i always have to delete the settings then restart and add the new editted script instead of just removing it and re adding it.

If SMARTManager restarts the script right at the time where there is a system update/ connection unstable, SMART will give an applet not found error, and the script will just sit here for a good 6 hours before the manager kicks in again.

Looks like the script your using, is using a diffrent way to setup the chars, like having there own variables, Could you post the script this is happening with?

The script is actually removed when SMARTManager is restarted.

Because on startup the INI file must be cleaned up.. Im not going to explain but its because the way i handle the Listview GUI and the array elements, I guess ill make the buttons disabled anyhow in next update.

I will add a checkforupdate feature in next release, yes i could, but the reason for silent updates is because i havent got time to modify too much…

This is the most stable version to date, This will work flawless with 90% of the scripts out there.. (100% if not using the account management).

Ill only be updating when theres a good amount of suggestions what it needs… And if MSI will be integrated or not.

You dont need to change anything, Just delete those .bat files.

Open SMARTManager, select scripts, and that's it.

Looks like you got a forward slash in your Simba path declaration. Make it consistent with the rest, change it to a backslash. See if that helps.

It doesnt matter, you can leave the BAT files if you like… All you need to do is run Smart manager and run script thats it.

your SMART still says crash smart because when you used Harry's mod, you replaced one of the lib's… SMART Manager can work with the original or the one your using now so its no problem.

This is happening because on the Setup tab, Under "Settings" you need to choose your folder where Simba is installed.

By Default Simba installs too: C:/Simba/

If you choose a diffrent location, Make sure you select it here then hit Save.

If it still occurs, Try closing SmartManager, delete settings.ini, Right click smart manager icon, and Run As Administrator. Then start over.

in 0.8 a major bug was fixed when removing scripts.

now MSI friendly (after MSI update, thx coh3n)

Also SMARTManager now adds a {$DEFINE SMARTManager} when it restarts a script… this is so scripters can handle using default values or using the form.

Example….

You add this to your script

{$IFDEF SMARTManager}
ReadDefaultValues();
{$ELSE}
ShowForm();
{$END}

So basically if you run the script, you will see the form, If you run it inside smart manager you will still get the form, but once smart manager restarts the script, the DEFINE SMARTManager is added, so then no form is displayed and the script can continue..

^ Keep in mind that the scripter has to update their form for that feature to work properly. Just in case someone has troubles using a form.

E: When I click the "Check for Update" button, it always says I have 0.7 and that 0.8 is available, and that it's downloaded successfully, but it always says I still have 0.7.

yeah it says updated it doesnt restart though and an error comes up ill try and get the error for you

edit: this application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. re-installing this application may fix the problem.

i tried deleting everything and redownloading it from ur link but i still have 0.7? aswell as trying to use the auto update i am also the only account on the computer which is also the administrator

also after downloading 0.8 is it mandatory for you to edit the script for it to work properly or is it optional to make it run better

Ill generate a random GET variable so nothings taken from the CACHE… (ie: http://smart-manager.googlecode.com/files/SMARTManager.exe?nocache=728182)

Are you using the encryption option? Looks like this could be a script specific issue if the scripers define players like the following Players[0].Pass := CustomPassVar;

Umm, the updater uses the windows command taskkill from vbs script to restart the updated version… which doesnt seem to work on your system

Regarding downloading 0.8, thats a browser cache issue.

Second: Just a thought. What about adding some sort of global var, that all we scripters would have to do is change our loop count var to it, to stop the script when the set count is reached. What I mean is, say I want to make 20000 potions. when the manager restarts the script, it tells it to make another 20000 potions, although it has already made 10000. The var would get stored in you program and it will pick up where it left off when it restarts. Not a big deal tho really. I could always incorporate something into my script to stop when the item I'm using is getting low.

No script should ask for a nickname anymore. It's no longer used in SRL.

First of all, SMARTManager automatically picks a 'Nick' from the username you enter… And as Coh3n mentioned its no longer needed anyway.

Right yeah thats not a bad idea… I could add a Global variable to each script… Maybe something like..

SMARTManagerLoads := 0;

Then you could modify your script with something like..

while(SMARTManagerLoads < LoadsToDo)

Of course, smart manager will add the SMARTManagerLoads var and keep track of it..

It's added to the temp script AFTER SMARTManager restarts, meaning if there is any code (i.e. form execution) that you do/don't want to run after restarting, you can set your script up that way.

The whole point of it was so SMARTManager could work with forms. This was the easiest way.

And what do you mean hard restart? AFAIK you can't just restart your script in Simba. If you want it to restart after a certain amount of time, SMARTManager has the option for that.

Are you using character management with smart manager? This is probarly because the script your using does something like Players[0].User := CustomUserVar… Instead of := '';

You can try deleteing the settings.ini file, in reconfig everything..

If that doesnt work, then on the script its failing on edit the script and manually add the account.

SMARTManager 0.9 Changes

- Change DEFINE's.
SMART manager now adds 2 defines to your script.. You dont need to worry about these at all.
But they come in handy if you want a script to perform diffrently if the script is running inside SMARTManager… OR if SMARTManager as already restarted the script.

Examples:
Lets say that your script as a form, When SMARTManager restarts this script.. The form will show thus preventing the script from running.
You can simply add the define so the form ONLY shows the first time you run the script.

{$IFDEF SMARTManagerRestart}
ReadDefaultValues();
{$ELSE}
ShowForm();
{$END}

Or lets say you wanted a script to act diffrently when running inside SMART manager…

A great example of this is, Lets say you found a good script, but that script as alot of trouble figuring out where it is after SMARTManager restarts it… The script could have been half way through walking a path? Or anything right?
You could simply fix this by doing the following..

First, add

MarkTime(STimeRan); // of course declare STimeRan above

then in the main loop of the script.. Right before the first procedure executes.. you could put

{$IFDEF SMARTManager}
if(TimeFromMark(STimeRan) > 19440000) then
SMARTManager;
{$ENDIF}

What that essentially means is, If the script was ran by SMARTManager, And if the script as been running for over 5.8 hours.. Then the script will get restarted right there, This is great, because we know that we restarted right before the first procedure right? Thus when the script starts again, it can continue without any problems.

Hi i3egoHan, is it possible to add a failsafe to detect whether script compiling is successful? Sometimes simba runs the script too quickly and it fails to load an SRL include, thus resulting in a compiling failure. I had this last night and I am surprised to see it didn't compile because simba didn't to load mordaut.simba from the randoms include. I think it happens as i said before, because simba probably started the script too quickly.

I think it's okay to assume all scripts that are used by SMARTManager will compile, so maybe the failsafe will try compile it for at most 5 times before completely failing it?

The script you're using doesn't check for randoms enough.

Whilst the toolwindow GUI is in development, anything else that you think would be a good addition please post.

I am using Er1k's fletcher, just passed 6 hour and logged out script didnt rerun.

Thats because that script isnt checking if(LoggedIn) enough.

that means for this script to restart you must use the Fail Safe option checkbox before running.

Will be the speed same ?

It won't affect the script at all, just when it restarts.

There's a fail safe option where you can manually input a time (in miliseconds) for it to restart the script (as well as Simba and S.M.A.R.T).

you can call SMARTManager; anywhere in your script to restart.

since it wont exist when you dont run in smartmanager, you'd better add {IFDEF} as mentioned few pages back.

And then it would be saved into the settings.ini or whatever. It would just use the settings you first selected, along with the MSI script. I'm not sure if I am explaining this correctly.

-Add world selecting from the manager, so it can go back to the same world(good for SW)
-Have an option to remove the IP screenshot, as it could get a bit annoying.

You should understand that world selection and disabling ip screenshots is the Scripts job.

Therefore you could simply add

in replace of the probarly current "LoginPlayer" line in your script.

I was wondering if in the next build, you could have an option that would move the slider on the side of S.M.A.R.T. Client to 5 different positions(Top, middle top, middle, middle bottom, bottom. This would be so helpful for minimizing the CPU on many scripts that don't require a quick reaction time(AKA Smelting bot, catacomb, Ivy, etc.), While being able to load up scripts that require quick recognition all in the same convenient program.

Also if possible a option to have the client disable graphics after each reset?(further minimize CPU)

Honestly I don't know how hard those two additions would be, but they are just suggestions.

Ill take the disabling graphics into consideration.

You can already set process priority levels inside smartmanager, read main post, this has a effect almost the same as the smart slider.

This is possibly a cleanup issue or OS issue, infact the process's are gone, and hovering the icons will make them vanish.

They won't affect your PC runtime at all, it's just Windows 7 being Windows 7. I came home one night and had 25 of the icons in the tray.

Just thought of an idea: let's say you are running a script and it runs into a random that it can't solve. Could you have SmartManager detect that and mark the script, stopping it from restarting over and over? Otherwise it will log in every 6 hours (or however long your failsafe is) and then log out when the script fails. Just thought it would be a good idea, it hasn't happened to me yet.

I think you are trying to use Simba to open one of the temporary scripts that SmartManager generates. Go to the OP, download the .exe file, and put it in a New Folder on your desktop. Run the .exe file and select the script you want to use. This is all explained in the original post. Maybe you could take a second look?

In the next release (0.91), there is a failsafe for this, sometimes simba throws random errors when running.

This as never happended to me.

But this is what i would try.

Make sure your not moving or renaming scripts WHILST smart manager is running.

If scripts if names with spaces or periods/dashes (.-) then rename them to simple names like "MyFireMaker.simba" this shouldnt effect anything, but its worth a try…

Also keep a eye for 0.91, it will have added features to read simba and see if the script is in Running state… If not you can force it to restart.

Testing 0.91 for 2 days now, everything seems perfect.

Ill try and get the Disable GFX option added and released tomorrow.

Can you also add saving the failsafe option/amout of time to the settings, so that SMARTManager automatically knows what scripts to use failsafe and how much time to failsafe?

Sometimes simba throws random errors when starting… Not sure if its due to the fact files are in use or what. But 0.91 will have option to detect if there was a compile error or exception. and restart acorddingly.

Alright well…. Finally had some time to finish 0.91 for a release.

Since there as been some big feature additions.. no doubt there may be a few minor bugs.

Feature Additions:

Note: All features (aswell as prior features can be enabled/disabled inside the "Properties" dialog, dont forget to select script first.

Compile Error/Exception Detection: When enabled smart manager will detect compile errors in simba, if found it will restart script. this is usefull for those anoyying random compile errors that's fixed when restarting.

Force Restart: When enabled smart manager will persistenly check if Simba is running a script… If its not currently running a script it will restart simba/script. Note: If the script isnt running due to a failed random it will NOT restart.. (which is a good thing) also note that this will continually try to restart… so only use when really needed… (this will never succeed of course if script as syntax error)

Random Event Detection: When this feature is enabled, you can also enable the corresponding alarm sound (which is located to the right of this option) If a random event is detected in the running script SMARTManager will display a small window in the top left hand of your screen for 30 seconds, and also play an alarm for 5 seconds. This is because so many people bot whilst using there computer, so if your at the computer you can solve the random yourself ensuring 100% success. (the window will disapear after 30 seconds)

Disable GFX In Smart Sorry but didnt get around to doing this.. Defently a TODO thou.

Also as you can see, the fail safe option as been moved and reorganised into the script's properies dialog. So all features are there.

NOTE: Most features will need re-configuring after stopping a script.

Delete settings.ini (which is located in the same directory as SMARTManager. Then you can resetup… This is of course for protection etc.. so your passwords are safe.

i cant seem to save my properties from each script in 0.91 ill hit save and then when i close smart or whatever there no longer saved for that script and i dont think its actually saving them cuz it doesnt disable my graphics when the script starts

Disable graphics isnt currently working in 0.91, ive fixed in 0.92.


As for saving properties what do you mean? When you restart smart manager there not saving? They never have saved, and you always need to set them again when closing smart manager. this is a todo for saving them to settings file

This as been mentioned several times… Its most likely a simba tray icon cleanup issue.. cause were closing the process.

Yes, the process is actually gone, and theres nothing to worry about, its just a `cosmetic` bug.

They are just icons left over from the process being killed, they won't affect the CPU.

The best way to do this is the following.

Dont use fail safe mode (if script can support it), you only need to use the failsafe mode if the script wasnt restarting in normal mode (due to lack of checking LoggedIn)

Okay, so without safe mode, when the user is logged out, smartmanager wont try to restart it. simple.

I guess i could add a procedure you could call in the script (and put that where script runs out of materials etc) and it would order smartmanager to stop script and dont restart.

For now I'll try it without failsafe mode and see how it goes. I really always use failsafe mode no matter what :)

I dont think so… We dont want to throw the client token error….

The way normal mode works (not fail safe) within SMARTManager is of course we set one of the srl_procs.. (onRs_update)… which checks when the system update text appears in game… when checking LoggedIn, thats where it checks it.

And if the system update text is found smartmanager restarts

But throwing the "Client Token Error" as no effect… Its when SRL detects a rs update which then signals SMARTManager to restart the script. (to detect it you must already be logged in and check LoggedIn whilst logged in..)

Umm.. Thats very intresting because… That would be great… If thats the case then SRL dev's have added the cliet token error to the rs update (which they should of done anyway :D)

This means, theres very little reason to use the fail safe option now, meaning its only restarted when rs update appears or the client token error. (which is perfect)

Kyle is right, I think your misunderstand the This Time/Total Time.

This Time - is time since script 'last' restarted. (or started if first run)
Total Time - is total time script been running… It resets if you stop the script, exit smart manager etc.

Arguments are not currently supported, The plan was to pass variablenames and values like

FoodColor=255

which would set a variable inside the script called FoodColor to the value 255

Ive tried with wine, i must have set it up wrong, I get an error everytime I try and run it

SMART manager is running very, very stable for me. I ran it for 60 hours straight once - only stopped it to reboot my pc.

The only flaw I see is that the program does not seem to keep the failsafe settings between runs. IE:

1. I run script #1
2. I stop script #1
3. I run script again, still same program session. Now, the failsafes have to be ticked off again.

So basically, if you forget to tick them after stopping a script they will be unticked. It is no problem to me, as I dont mind the occasional "breakdown" since it gives the account(s) a little rest on top of the breaktimes. Thought I'd mention it anyway ;).

Is there a way to make this work with MSI by any chance? My apologies if this has been asked already and answered before.

Setup your character and settings via the form, And click RUN in msi, select save settings. Then close it.

Go back to /Simba/Includes/MSI/RunMe.simba in simba/text editor and change UseForm := True; to UseForm := False;

Next add /Simba/Includes/MSI/RunMe.simba to smartmanager, And thats pretty much it..

If you want to see form again dont forget to reenable it…

Theres a much better method, a little more advanced thought but ill explain it..

- Running MSI With SMARTManager -
Note: There is a simpler method, But this works best long term.

1: Open up /Simba/Includes/MSI/RunMe.simba (in simba)
2: Locate the line which contains USE_FORM = True;
3: Replace that line with the following code..

No problem, but bare in mind, it wont work like that just yet, Im waiting for coh3n to change MSI slightly, so SMARTManager can have better control over the MSI form.

If you want to use MSI in the meantime with SMARTManager, make sure you save your settings inside the RunMe.simba.

Very soon SMARTManager will be able to close the form and use default values.

Simple enough, just tried it and seemed to be working fine. I have one question about when the 6 hour mark comes though.

I'm using Windows 7 and whenever I open Simba, the User Access Control menu pops up and in order to use Simba I have to click yes. I have Simba running as an administrator and someone said that would fix that but the only way I can get that screen to not show up is to put the lowest protection on and then the UAC doesn't show on the startup of Simba.

Does the UAC affect the client refresher in the SMARTManager? I tried running for 6 hours last night but this morning the error was that it just tried logging into the account in the same client repeatedly where the client token error appeared at the 6 hour mark. Would changing the UAC control to the least protection be necessary in order for the SMARTManaer to work properly?

You should probarly right click SMARTManager icon, and click Run As Administrator.

Are you talking about that script? I normally run 4 simba/smarts without any problems with most scripts.

New feature: Terminate script on success

This new feature will allow you to stop scripts from restarting when they completed there loads/or ran out of supplys… Basically… when you enable this option, if SMARTManager detects that Simba was "Successfully Executed" then it will not attempt to restart it… This may not be ideal in some cases, but if you want to stop your scripts if you run of of supplies etc, then use this.


- MSI -
Just a little note on msi interaction

Now when running MSI with SMARTManager, all that is needed is that you add the script /includes/msi/RunMe.simba to SMARTManager.

When you run the script, setup your players and scripts like normal in the MSI form and hit Run, When prompted to save make sure you do so.

Now when SMARTManager restarts the MSI script, it will use the settings that you saved when first running MSI, And the form will be closed automatically.

Note: you no longer need to disable the form (USEFORM)

Erm for now you can do it quite easyily…

You could do the following.

Enable option "Terminate on success" (in v0.92)

Set a timer in your script, and when the timer is up execute "TerminateScript;"

then SMARTManager wont restart it..

So outside the main loop

MarkTime(TimeRan);

in main loop

if(TimeFromMark(TimeRan) > 120000) then // time in MS (this is 2 mins)
  TerminateScript;

Thats not releated to SMARTManager, thats a Simba error.

Do you only get this when using SMARTManager?

Can you use simba on its own without this problem..? You must give much more information if you want usefull advice.

I get it only on the manager and with Simba I keep getting compiling errors.

Alright, also the thing to do would be to alter the file path inside to a fully qualified path..

so instead of file.aca, C:/Location/To/Your/File

My SMART Manager just restarted my script, it works fine. Went for 7 hours, and I didn't see that 5 minute wait message.

On my agility script I have a paint that is a long BMP string that is all on one line because if it isn't it makes my script like 3-4k lines, but when I run it in SMART Manager it wraps the text and messes it up so that it won't compile. Ive just watched SM restart a script using fail safe optio, and when it restarted it logged in right away..

So my instincts tell me, if we reload before the message, we dont need to wait for 5 minutes, But if we wait till we get kicked out the game, then we need to wait 5 minutes.

Still waiting for clarification before a update. (ill get something released today nonetheless)

I've seen the message, but I didn't have to wait 5 minutes before reloading. It restarted when the message came up and logged right back in.

It's really long. I'm not sure how I would get the paint on the screen if I didn't use BMP's so that's what I use >.> Doesn't seem to slow down my script though.

Thats alright if your using it for paint, I thought you was using for BMP searching or something.

Back to topic, Thats strange, the variables shouldnt overflow unless your data is over 64mb… And i highly doubt your bmp is 64mb.

Maybe SMARTManager is parsing the string thinking that some of those characters are new lines.. Not too sure.

But for the sake of good practice i highly recommend you remove that large BMP from your script, And package the BMP file with your script.. then use

LoadBitmap()

Also you should use fully qualifed paths for loading your BMP… else when ran inside SM it wont find your file…use APPPATH.

Ah ok. Got it working like that but it kinda requires the people using my script to extract it to there which is another step to setup the script but whatever, I guess it will be a sort of antileech lol. Normally try to keep my scripts simple to setup.

Yeah, since the same code stub (ahk library) is included with any compiled executable… even hello world. ( sad i know )

Open simba, Enable MSI (View -> Extensions)

Then you will see MSI in tool bar, click UPDATE.

When its done you can then find the script to add at /Simba/Includes/MSI/RunMe.simba.

Refer to FAQ for more info.

Oh this thing has saved me so much time of manual restarting. Thanks so so much for this, it's truly an impressive accomplishment.

v0.92 crashes sometimes without any reason. (or at least I can't reproduce it)

You moved/deleted the script.

i wish i understood that…i dont want my simba to break again so im not gonna risk downloading it again….

This will not break/effect simba in anyway, The only thing this and sima has in relation, is that SMARTManager simply launches/closes process when needed.

If its crashing or something's messing up, its something your doing wrong.

I have a request, I run several scripts at a time and it is a tiny bit annoying to check every script when I get a random - in order to catch the one client having the random.

For every script/account I have a different SmartManager handling it (easier to track of from taskbar).
Could you make it so that the client that detects a random to blink in the task bar ?
It would mean so much :).

That's just a failure with Windows, it doesn't remove the icons even though the process it killed. I can reproduce it on almost every program installed. Nothing to worry about :)

i'm getting an error with smart, it says to ensure the target page has an applet declaration. can anyone help me with this?

One small problem: when you minimize SMART Manager to the tray and hide the Simba scripts running SMART fails to reload the page if the bot fails/logs out. So basically everything stays logged out and SMART doesn't reload the clients until I un-hide them from the tray.

When you choose the option to alert you on random events, A box will appear telling you which script and character (if set) which the random was detected in. Why cant you use this?

Which script were you running? You probarly would want to use the "fail safe option" int he properties dialog inside smartmanager, just tick the box then try.

It's annoying because my taskbar gets so full of windows, but the functionality of the script more than makes up for it if there's no way to get rid of those windows. It's also kind of annoying how the console window re-opens every time you show/hide it.
If there's any way to fix those thing it would be great, but thanks anyways if you can't

You can hide all the windows using the hide button in SM.

In simba you can permently hide/show the console window (black icon on right)

Sometimes those other windows show up, even though i try and hide them after showing simba/smart.

You say the script 'fails', So this means you are using the Force Restart option?

Because smart manager will only try and restart in the following events

rs update (any mode)
passed 6 hours or custom time(fail safe mode)
if script compile error (compile error mode)
if script stopped (force restart mode)

I just checked here and tried again, no success. I have simply added the MSI script (named _MSI.simba) in the Script Manager, when I try to start nothing happens, and then I receive see in the log something written like:

[Error] (1:1): Unexpected end of file at line 0
Compiling failed.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here? And since it has multiple choices of script, how to select the one I want? Thanks.:spongebob:

Well can you help me on my problem? I just downloaded this MSI Mining script (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57911), added to the Script Manager and managed to find the error every time that I posted on the previous page. Am I doing something wrong?

If you actually read the thread, then you would know you add the script "C:\Simba\Includes\MSI\RunMe.simba"

Thanks harry, It looks like the process for consistenly checking on simba/process's/crash-files was being interrupted by itself.. which was related to many of the bugs mentioned, hopefully this fixes it!

As of now it doesn't sign my accounts in. Not sure if this is SMART Manager's fault or the scripts(?) but I assume it's because of the update yesterday.

I think my issue is that annoying may popup.

It is, it's probably the updater function in the program that causes it.

Use a better AV.

i3, can you add a dropbox sort of thing where we can choose a preset amount of time?
For example, I get tired of typing 7200000 (2 Hours) and accidently missing a 0 and having it restart every few minutes :s

Following my previous post (above), if possible and if you agree with these improvements, could you push a couple of updates please:

-Select multiple scripts/bots to change properties or to run or to close etc
-Store the properties settings when you close manager and re open.

Oh ok thanks for letting me know i thought it was something i was doing wrong. I was using YoHo's powerminer. It works without smart manager but not when i try to run it with it. Its a bit of a shame because every six hours ( i think its 6) i would have to refresh the client, not ideal for overnight botting.

Did you set up SMART Manager right? Also you must turn off ALL means of sleep/hibernation. Do so in windows control panel, etc.

Is there any way to use this trough Mac because I can run the exe but when I try to run scripts , I got the error s1 mentioned above and u answered it was path but I setup it correctly and it still deosnt work :(

EDIT : My bad , I was modifying path and not reloading smart manager so it wouldn't work but now it works :P

mine didnt restart either

I'm using the latest version and I don't encounter problems upon needing to restart (however I do use the force restart…)

Also, @L B's comments, I think saving "SetSmartRefresh(RandomRange(60, 100));" to the setup of the original script you are running might help move the slider.
+ I agree it'd be convenient to have it save the settings so you don't have to redo them each time your close and re-open smartmanager (possibly even store individual settings for saved scripts?).

However I think he said he's about to release a 1.0 soon, so perhaps this stuff has already been thought of! 0:>

Make sure your computer isnt set to sleep/hibernate in the control panel.

is it me or did .92 stop working? it now stops at 6% mark and .93 stops at 5% so idk never had this before ugh please give me an idea of what to do. till then il use the old method, thanks.

I just found out why it wasn't working for me, and possibly for other people too, the security extension needed permission to write to the temporary script directory. So you have to be at your computer when the thing pops up asking for permission(just one time and click always allow I think) or just don't use the security extension.

This thing is great, but I'd like to ask if there is any bypass for popup with settings when you start the script (Teh's Superheater actually). Because when it restarts it asks for user info and then I can't click load settings if I'm not home, and it won't start :(

Nah I don't have an old pc, but if you think its on my side I'll have a fiddle around and post results if I manage to get it fixed.

To fix the issue with the slow loading at the start, that we linked to the slider on the right, you will need to put:

SmartSetRefresh(100);

in your script. Make sure you put it after SetUpSrl; that worked for me

You mean a user form? You can edit the script so load default settings if ran after a restart..

Your spot on smurg, Force restart is probarly what you want. It will restart script no matter what… (as long as the reason it stopped wasnt due to a failed random event)

I thought it might be the script but i tried a few different ones to no avail.

This is not a SMARTManager problem, You can fix it by making the random.dat read only. search the forum for multiple account logging. Also make sure you choose diffrent worlds in your scripts… Else you will get that also.

Yes, all of the current properties are not saved when restarting SMARTManager, this will be added to the config file shortly.

Does that happen with all scripts? Re-install simba, or its because the fonts dont exist.

Theres no reason it will lag alot, you could try setting diffrent prioritys.

Well, several users suggested entering a time in hours for how long to run, I decided to take it a little bit further and include a scheduler.

So in the properies menu now you will see the scheduler, you can enable it then set your start and stop times. If you want the scripts to start right away then leave the start time as default.


The Updater
Its just a basic updater now which will work for everyone, i didnt have time to make it a auto updater, so if you click Check For Update, and select yes if there is a new version, then the new version will download to the same folder your current smartmanager version is located, Then just delete the old version and run the new :D


I didnt have time to do much since im working on alot right now and the computer vision (object recognition) is my latest project along with BegoSwitch, CMacro etc.

Also the settings still reset for the properties of each script when you restart smart, This is a time consuming update which is why i couldnt add it this time.. sorry.

I love this manager, but for some reason, it disables the xp / hour for me. No script's xp per hour works after i used smart manager :S

the versions i have have stopped working weird .9 restarts it but wont load. the new one restarts it wont load and will spam restarting it.

The only thing that may effect (but shouldnt) that is hiding the windows, try not hiding them and see if its ok then.

It just uses the SMART api to change it, so it must be a smart problem.

Well I put it on silent mode, but I guess it's still effecting it.

Do you need to have simba unhidden for it to restart? I hide it before I go to be and when I wake up it should be like 2 hours in to the next session, but it didn't even start, when I unhide it in the morning it completely restates and does a new session. I'm not sure why it does that.

This is a issue with your PC going to sleep…

Goto control panel -> power options and make sure everything is on "Never"

I turned off my antivirus and it still deletes itself..

Not sure if this has been Covered, but i have Smart Manager set to alarm sound when randoms appear, the only 3 randoms I had using the Smart Manager, were evil bob, evil twin and sandwich lady, none of them set off the alarm.
Not a big problem just letting you know.

Edit, I may have worked it out, I had to click on script properties and click, the alert randoms box, then click save then re-open properties and click the sound box, they both seem to stay checked now, before when I was checking both boxes at same time then pressing save, they would auto uncheck lol, so il see if this works.

Tried on 3 more randoms, still did not Alert :(

Yes, all of the current properties are not saved when restarting SMARTManager, this will be added to the config file shortly.

This is a issue with your PC going to sleep…

Goto control panel -> power options and make sure everything is on "Never"

I already had that done. Not sure what it is… Ah well just need 3k more alchs

I can't seem to get 0.94, I've deleted the settings.ini file and Smartmanager. But when I download the latest version and run it, it comes up as 0.93 again. Is there anything else I need to remove?

does this script actually detect randoms by itself and warns, if so, id love to have it log out if it detects this.

Its a brower cache issue.

Either clear your browser cache or do the following.

Use this linnk to download latest version: http://smart-manager.googlecode.com/files/SMARTManager.exe?cache=99182

Then in the future just click "Check For Update" inside Smart manager, if there is a new version it will promp if you want to download it.

But you can disable all the updaters…

Goto Simba, then on each top menu make sure all the auto updates are turned off..

Then just once a day, click the check for updates button to update like that.

Is there an obvious way to make sure the clients/simba reload minimized?

Minimised or hidden?

We can start the simba process minimised, But simba is what launches SMART(the client) so that would appear ontop.

I could add a update where it would allow you to keep all windows ALWAYS minimised aswell as current option hidden.

thanks for this, helped a ton. but scripts that i run somehow always seem to fail after 2 hrs. So if i wanted to make a script close down using the schedulers after 2hrs would it automatically restart if i hit the force restart button?
