So, I'm not really an ecomonics person. But basically, I know about supply and demand.

So, the higher the demand, the lower the price becomes?

…the higher the price, the higher the quantity supplied.

So, the lower the quantity, the lower the price becomes?

Are there any other factors? Like, for example, if lots of people buy millions of (the same) item for +15% of the market price. How would that affect the price?

If you haven't figured, I want the market price of maple shieldbows (u) to drop, so everyone starts selling them to me instead! Problem is, it's a very stable item. Probably stablised by the general store price? I dunno. Discuss? :)

And, if a mod/admin reads this, can they change the thread name so it reads "[BUYING ALL] Maple Shieldbows (u) - Up to 95gp each!". Will love you long time!

To get the price to increase you need to takeout supplies. This does mean buying up the GE. However if you're buying them at a higher price, that will make more people produce them and therefore increase the supply. So to increase the price of a common, easy to get and make big supplies you would need a big army of buyers.

High demand, low quanity = high price
Low demand, high quanity = low price

I don't know that much about price manipulation, but I think you should choose an item that is less produced.

Hmm, true, it'd be hard to change the price of maple shieldbows (u). I guess many people know the method of selling the to the general store? I'm going to try and find more items I think; giving myself a high profit margin per 4 hours.

We should start up an SRL Mems+ merching group? I know our old one died hard. Getting more people involved is the only real way to get past the 4 hour g.e. Limit.
