In regards to http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81650, no, I'm not raping Mobilizing Armies (nor do I plan to at this moment- going to be at uni with no RS in a few weeks until next spring, so I can't even be bothered to learn that).

This is what I am doing:
Sold all of those in less than 10 minutes and made 2,4M profit; so if you exclude the time it took to buy/make them, you'd be making 14 M/hr.

You don't even need P2P! F2P items can work too! You just need to find items with the highest buyability on GE, and largest low alch to GE selling margin.

Very simple yet makes profit on those junk items. With shop update last year, all items sell constantly for their low alch price, regardless of current stock. You also have the button that you can simply spam now. This makes each one I sell a profit of 8 gp to show vs the GE prices. As long as you sell your stack for a total price of below 30k to the store, you can simply spamclick the sell button without any confirmations popping up. It's such a simple moneymaking method, yet no one ever talks about it! It's so elementary, that it's genius!

Other items work such as willow logs, or any F2P junk item works well. As long as you buy from the GE for below the low-alch price, you will make a pure profit. I do find P2P items work better however due to there not being as many F2P bots anymore doing willows and such.

I don't anticipate Jagex doing anything to break this system, but they just might. There are many ways they could mess with it, such as allowing a limited number to be sold at one time, not allowing you to sell bought items, etc etc. So keep this in the members section please. If I see a similar guide posted anywhere else, I'll be very disappointed. Take this as a gift. Don't even tell your closest friends.

So please post some good profits margins you have found here :) Help everyone out with a good find.

Edit: BE WARNED - the selling price is not always the low alch price. Logs sell to store at GE's price. And many items do not sell for low alch prices. Check that before dumping a lot on an item! The low alch price is only a general idea, it may sell for less than that to the store!

You don't need to click on them everytime after the store update last year. Just one button that remains active until no items left. Nice and simple.

Jagex can patch it, and price of goods on GE are rising. That's why I do maple longbow (u), since lots of people can bot them.

Also lol, you don't need a script. Read the first post, it's just clicking them item once then clicking the same button over and over again on store menu. Don't even need to use mouse…

Sorry mate, my knowledge about RS is 0. Do you advice buying items outside off the ge. I tried to buy Longbow (u) but the prices were already rising :P

You could try. But yeah, it is a bit difficult with everyone's buying it. If you want even more profit, but slower speed, fletch them yourself.

The key to this method is finding those good items that are in high quantity on GE and sell to stores at higher prices.

I'll make a thread advertising my version of Er1k's fletcher in the moneymaking section; hopefully the goldfarmers hop onto it and make the GE prices go down :stirthepot:

You could I guess, but I'd suggest against it. Having higher demand will make higher prices for us. People suddenly seeing tons of people buying millions of long u's -> other "smart" people will buy up.

Deleted my thread in public section asking to buy, hopefully prices go back down a bit now :p Or hopefully that's normal market fluctuation and wasn't my fault they shot up 7gp in a few days.

Im struggling to find any more items… I make a 6gp profit per longbow(u).

I tried willows but they wouldn't buy :(

Buying one of that item and low alching it yourself is the most accurate.

But as I said, low alch price is NOT ALWAYS the store price - in fact much of the time store price is GE price. So you're better off buying one of every few "disposable" items and toying around.

They've updated selling to the shop… You now have to re-sell you cant just spam click sell.

Click on the 'Selling' tab, and click the item.

It stays up there. You're on the 'Buying' tab.

Well if there was any legitimate market for the item, then the price would rise.

You put in a ton of demand for the item, and the supply stays the same.

When Demand > Supply, people will start trying to buy them for more and more gp.

Well i guess we better expand this list? Can some other people please add to it :)

This is genuinly a good technique that if we manage we can take lots of advantage of… I'd really appreciate other people helping

Just checked logs that you mentioned in the first post. Regular logs 100+ge and 1gp in shop, oak logs 67 in ge and 6 gp in shop, only willows are 12 gp in both. I don't think any items are related to ge prices because that would allow price manipulation. (Buying lots making the price rice and then dump to general stores)

Oh, well I checked just maples and willows and they were both GE price in store. Didn't touch any other logs.

Nice find I think if you search a bit you can get a better item maybe :o

Thats what my list is for so everyone can help each other

Tip: A lot of low level Armour/Weapons have a slight profit, but the trad limit being only 100 per 4 hours for them makes them no good, so lets keep low level armor/weapons off the list?

Added a few items I saw on the highly traded index, only 1 of them had profit.

I didn't bother to get limits for items that lost money.

Bonfire update helped screw this up a bit in terms of selling (u)'s. Maple logs sell instantly to GE for 40+ gp now, and continues to rise, thanks to bonfires. The long (u)s are going to also continue to rise because of those prices going up.

Someone should whip up a maple log cutter for Seers Village and release that to public. Get the log prices back down and the maple long (u)s will also go down probably. Use those public goldfarmers to your advantage! :p

SPS 2 Doesn't work now but I can get it 2 work, all you guy's need 2 do is modify the SPS_Tolerance + the SPS percentage needed that's the beautiful thing about SPS 2 is that it is highly customizable and all the people bitching about it don't realize it lolz

I found an item, Iron platelegs. They're at 68gp on the GE and they sell for 84gp at the store. Although I'm not sure if that price changes after you sell a significant quantity. Can someone add that item to the link please?

Armours/weapons have limit of 100 im im right…. :/

I used to do this with seeds, gained about 100K free gp each day by just collecting, walking to store and selling :D

It seems I can only buy 100 per day of iron/steel hatchets. I have sold 2k at one time to the general store.

In the other direction, there are some things that are worth a lot in the GE, and only cost a few coins at stores. some examples are tinderboxes and hammers. I have not found any items that can be purchased in huge quantities and flipped for profit.

So This Basically got nerfed, I can't seem to find anything worth it.

It wasn't nerfed, it just was never viable as a botting method.

Sometimes the market swings one way and you can skim small margins selling to the general store, just as you can have small profit margins on alching items. It doesn't mean it will last long at all.
