Happy Little Runescape — Lumbridge

INITIAL RELEASE
—————–
|= Version: 1.0 =|
—————–

Description
This script is in a way the remake of WT-Fakawi's Happy Little Runescape. It is designed for fresh accounts, and trains woodcutting, firemaking, fishing, cooking, attack, strength, defence, ranged, magic and prayer in the area behind Lumbridge Castle.

How to Use
1)Fill out DeclarePlayers, including how long to run for and preferred world.
2)Place the characters around the area with a sling, a melee weapon and a staff of air in their inventories.
  • Kill 2 goblins manually, first one will drop a staff and second one will drop a sling.
  • The general store has a free dagger.
3)Do not use a character that has brown or green default clothing. It causes delays while woodcutting. Choose blue or something.
4) Hit run!
Area:

Details
-> Fishing and cooking: Script fishes at the pond up north and cooks the fish right there
-> Woodcutting and firemaking: Cuts trees around and makes a bonfire when the inventory is full. makes another bonfire when the first one goes out.
->Combat: Kills goblins, trains defence up to level 5 first, and then trains all others. Always trains the lowest combat skill. Buries bones. Eats when HP is low.
-> You can give the character better armour and weapons, it will recognize everything.
Stats of a fresh account that ran the script for a while:

Important bugs/problems:
-> At level 5 woodcutting and magic, you get a screen that promotes membership. That has to be closed manually, so it would be wise to either get those levels yourself or babysit the script until both screens show up.
SRL's randoms handler doesn't handle these screens, sadly.
-> If people are fighting the goblins, or a Lumbridge guard is killing one, it may get stuck, but it will move on when the goblin is dead.
-> Getting a spin ticket while cooking or adding logs to a bonfire may break the script completely, because FindNormalRandoms clicks on it.

Things to be Added
-> Willow cutting and burning
-> Detecting monsters that are already in fight
-> Collecting runes and money
-> Looting procedure that is called upon only after the goblin dies(doesn't depend on death right now)
-> Optional breaking system
-> Better, multiplayer progress report(Would be nice to have someone help me with that)
-> A fix for the negative xp/h on the proggy

Final Remarks
I learned a lot while making this script. I'd like to thank Fakawi for coming up with the original script, and letting me use the name. I adapted his blacklisting system to be used on this script.
I'd also like to thank beginner5, Le Jingle and J J for their useful procedures or functions that helped this script function better.
I'm open to suggestions, please post if you think anything can be made better/more efficient.

Good idea for a script :)

Bump, looking for feedback. This script takes 5 minutes to setup on new account and gets it levels easily, so you can have a more legit-looking army with this.

[ Time Running : 25 Minutes And 53 Seconds ]
[ Xp Gained : 36489 ]
[ Xp/H : 82800 ]

[ Happy Little Runescape 1.0 ]

Here you go, Points to note

Cut and Burn sometimes gets stuck. Just sits there, looks like it's part of the huge waits you have. Just loops wait(8000)

Sometimes just eats all the food in one go whilst fighting a goblin making it a bit pointless

Doesn't gear up properly, takes everything off but doesn't re-equip accordingly after (aka just kicking the goblin with nothing on)

I'll try running it for longer and see what I get

Thanks for trying out the script. The long waits when fishing and burning are absolutely necessary because it sometimes takes a lot of time for lower levels to gain xp( failing to add log and such). It only got stuck on me twice, and it was because of spin tickets both times. I will try to run for longer and see if it happens again.
(Edit: It occasionally doesn't add logs to the fire, which makes it wait until the 2 minute timer is reached. I will try to find a safe way to get rid of that.)
It will eat all the food if the HP goes below 50% and food is not enough to get it up to 80%, that probably happened to you with a higher level character.

Gearing up is completely dependent on the uptext gathered, which might get buggy if there are goblins walking around in the top left corner. It fixes itself on the next run so it shouldn't be much of a problem. It is more of a problem due to SRL.

Second edit: Alright I managed to run it for more than an hour, it got stuck twice. Once on the bonfire and once while cooking. I suppose I'll need more failsafes for those. Combat works much better than what I expected.

Love the idea and name of this script!

I'm going to create a new account just to test this. :p

GJ! Properly creditted too. Thank you!@ Keep up the good work. I have always found these "self-thinking" scripts most appealing.

How does my blacklist work for you? I have added some more bugfixes a couple of months ago. I believe it to be 100% accurate now.

Does your script still work?

I like this idea a lot. I think the lumby start area can be made to do a lot of things. A chop & Burn + basic goblin fighter + fisher should get a character started up really well.

A sidenote, I believe something's been done to detect the stupid dwarven axe advertisement. If you're serious about it, I definitely recommend you to deal with it because it will help so much in automating the training of new accounts ;)

Thank you very much! I am not using your blacklist system, fully, this script only uses it to identify the purpose of an item in the inventory. Unlike yours, this script has to hover over each item every once in a while because it doesn't identify them by their colors, but the inventory slot they are in.

Thanks! I searched around but didn't find any piece of code to detect it fast and solve properly. I think I'll add something of my own that could be added to SRL, but I'm really tired right now because I have been traveling for a long time and don't want to do anything for a while.

@ litoris

This is really a nice script. I had to make a few changes to get it working properly at the moment as we are a bit screwed by the bar at the top at the moment. All right click wait options don`t work as well as the mousebox code, had to swap it out with hard coordinates to make it work

One thing I would really recommend to do, before it proceeds to a new loop for the different options it can do, make sure that the inventory is empty off all stuff except what you need.

It does not always drops all the inventory items when it should. Maybe include a true variable for each inventory slot it clicks on to make sure that slot is empty. The same goes for the burnt fish, it clicks to let them drop correctly, but it do not always drop the items, before it proceed to the next slot make sure that slot is really empty on which you have clicked before.

I Must compliment you on this, it is quite stable and works well.

For the progress reports, I think you should look at what Daniel has done here. I think that will help with the progress reports.

Thanks for the feedback! It drops all fish before fishing and and wcing as far as i can remember, and drops the burnt fish before fighting. When it doesn't drop everything, it's because the uptext isn't read properly due to background color around the top left corner. Nothing I can do about that. Making it wait till the item disappears would slow it down horribly. I could make it check after it tries to drop everything, and retry.
I'm waiting for the official fix for SRL before fixing the script, so you can expect it then.

I would like to make another suggestion, Make a option that if you just want to train woodcutting, that the player can enable a true or false, the same with the other options, create a global option, if global then ignore all other setting and do everything, if not global only do options that is set as true. Do a case selection for the options that is enabled.

Global := true;
Woodcutting := false;
Fighting := false;
Fishing := false;

I may have found a solution to the uptext problems. Putting the camera angle all the way down gives you a clear sky, so I could do that every time I need to read uptext.(trees do block sometimes, but it's much better than other random things) Could be kind of suspicious though.

I know that the goblins got updated, that might be why it's having a hard time.
The fighting proc overall is elementary, I just made it so that it can train combat stats, it's far from perfect. I have no time for scripting atm but that will be fixed, along with a lot of other things. I plan to make DDTMs of inventory objects just like Fakawi's original, so that you don't have to hover over every item every time.
