Intro/Background:
After using another script for some thieving experience, and having mixed results from it, I decided to make my own. After using it for a little while, I have decided to make it public.


Features:
- Advanced Pickpocketing Trainer
- Menaphite Thug // still in beta stages. it works, but bugs may be present
- Antirandom/Antiban

How to use:
1. Fill out declare players. Change constants to what you desire.
2. If you are using Java 7. Leave this page now; Don't use this script; Follow Yohojo's guide for getting Java 6.

FOR Advanced Pickpocketing Trainer:
- Trap the trainer here - http://villavu.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1000567&postcount=76
FOR Menaphite Thug:
- Trap the thug in the spot of your choice.
- Have a full inventory of food ONLY (if using excalibur, have it in item slot 1).
- Only uses the food in inventory and does not get more. Use this script if you will check on it every 10 mins or so, OR you are lvl 95+.

3. Turn the FPS bar (right of SMART) all the way up! This helps with the Exp Per Hr.

well good, cus i have been workin to put the thugs in this. even though i have tested it, and it worked well, i am sure there are still some bugs when it comes to the thugs. plz post anything major that u find.

XD yah well last night i was like… i have a cosher trainer, why not make it into a menaphite thug trainer as well! so i spent like an hr and added it in. :D


EDIT: … ugh found a stupid bug. accidentally used break(); instead of exit(); … and slightly updated the thugs color tolerance. if you donwloaded v1.0 before this post, redownload

Averaging 116k/hr on the menaphite thugs at 91 thieving it could be a tad faster on the knockdowns after the pickpocketing o.o but over all this is great, I'm going to use this to 99 :)… Or at least till 95 and use the monkey knives script when it comes out :P

At 95 thieving I am still failing enough to need to eat, which is kinda lame :/

Not sure if that's because its clicking when hes not knocked out sometimes or if that's just the way it is.

Getting 160k xp/hr, so far so good.

at 95 thieving u get hit a lot less, especially with the gloves and cape. thats why i suggested it. you still have to check on it, but u will run through a inv of food way slower.

1. When failing to knock them out it still attempts to pickpocket them twice every time making it seem detectable, I suggest a failsafe that recognizes when you failed and starting the loop over.

2. Adding amount of money made to proggy might be nice.

3. Long proggys aren't really possible I maxed at 50 mins and ran out of food. Here's my proggy.

1. ur right, i will look into it. but did u know that if u get stunned, u can cancel the stun by quickly trying to pickpocket the guy?
2. that sounds good, i will look into that for next update.
3. no way to do it longer. why? well u would have to do 1 of 2 things:
- banking: if you bank, then u need to walk/tele away, which isnt a big deal. but when u come back, u will have to re-setup the thug. :( that could be really hard to code.
- noting/selling/buying: same thing, its all about having to re-setup the thug

any ideas on how to solve 3 would be appreciated

Bunyip/Unicorn support/Enhanced Excalibur support may help 3.

Withdrawing food from a familiar could potentially move your character so I wouldn't suggest that :/

hmm sounds good :) since i am still at lvl 1 summoning, i can work on bunyip/unicorn. but i will add enhanced excalibur (still dont have summon lvl, so it might need testing). feel free to add ur own "healing" procedures to ur script.

edit: updated. if i can find a video of the bunyip/unicorn. or even a few pictures. i can probably make a dtm/procedure taht utilizes these things

It misses the trainer on 2nd and 3rd loot. (Clicks in the same spot (above the him)). I was reading your code, good practice for me. Also it would click the money pouch after every successful 'loot' loop. Which doesn't make any sense looking at your code. -.-

Found this, it uses the same X and Y, which i believe it finds while standing up, so it clicks fast enough to get the first loot in then he falls :0

Just brainstorming (learning myself), you could add another function 'ClickOnFall', which has the same X coordinate, but take Y - [What ever # would fix it]. Then just replace the second/third ClickOn with this. This would be a static thing and not great b/c it could miss click??
Only other thing i could think of is to run your determine position again. Then use the new X and Y it creates. I don't think this will work? Not to sure about how the whole AutoColor function works so if you could give insight would be much appreciated. ;)

And not to be a pain but sometimes it doesn't finish luring. So it can't knock out/loot. :(

Gonna play around with these thoughts.

Does it escape the fight with menaphite? I had problems back then and ihad to stick to coshing.

this whole script relies upon speed. it needs the fps bar to be up. with that said, this is how my finding procedure goes: 1. determine the position - uses an auto color + ATPA for finding the central point in the object. this stores that central point as X,Y of the object. ( barbObject[0].x:= 259; ) then to save time/resources from your comp. i do not use autocolor+atpa every time i want to click after that. i simply use the x,y choords. it has a lot less to do, resulting in less time/ resources/ lag/ more exp per hr.

i updated that issue. it wont ever happen now. i personally enjoy using the menaphite thug one, but i only run it when im doin hw ( i check on it every 10 mins ). but idk how much more i can add to that part of the script.

but on the cosher part, i am still gettin 120k exp an hr at lvl 88. :)

edit: just hit lvl 90 :D.

Well, on the advanced trainer it clicks 'Lure' then the little text box pops up at the bottom when my character says something to him, but the script trys to knock out the trainer before clicking next on the text box, which doesn't count as luring him? Reckon you could fix this please?

ur not nagging at all. your pointing out issues that you have had and actually giving decent information about them.

for the first issue: i only have gotten that when i lagged. since i actually wait until it finds the ">" buttons, i simply dont understand how this happens XD. i will think of a fail safe for it though. oh! i think i just thought of one.

for the second issue: about the mouse speed - i already added it. infact, its faster than srl's standard mouse speed. this was a part of the script since the beginning. about the stuns - the only time you can really detect if you are stunned, you would already have to have hit the guy twice. (using the hp bar). so i do detect it, but it still tries to loot him a couple times. about the log out - it must be in my detection of the randoms :/ might have to revise it.

i will look into these issues and see where i can add failsafes for them.

some feedback: it logs me, run flawlees for about 1 minute to 25 minutes, but then it log out saying it don found a color. i thought this was opart of the antileech. is this part of it?


can make it work for more than 5 to ten minutes then it sais it doesnt find a color. can figure out whats worng with the sript.

as mentioned earlier, banking for the thugs isnt a hard task, but re-setting up the thug is the challenge. i simply dont have the time to spend to accomplish this gigantic task :(.

lol wierd… well are you setting up the client properly? i ask this because 90% of the eating function is SRL made. this means that SRL's detection for your health is not working for you. which means it might be outdated, or you didnt set it up right. but, since i want to make sure that it isnt an issue, i am gunna test the thug section of this script out again (thoroughly). i will update in after a while of testing.

I'm constantly updating my stuff before every session.

The EE spec's timer keeps going I think when the script is paused I think.

Other than that, great script, maybe make for color checking every ~50 picks for the thugs because even if you have them trapped they sometimes move through you when you're hovering the exp bar. (or maybe color check only when it "misses"?)

edit: also for those who want to use these at thugs, if u use a bunyip and regen bracelet u basically never have to heal :)

Many times when he goes to lure the Advance PP trainer, he double lures them. Intentional? I also agree with the above post ^

I also have the issue of it trying to knock out the guy before the bot has lured it, are you working all will you work on a failsafe to prevent this, it slows exp gains down quite rapidly.

Other than that looks like a good bot. And my computer is quite good so that shouldn't be the problem, it seems to only lag when luring the guy sometimes.

Perhaps to people that are having problems with food, a regen bracelet could be an option to help? there was 400kish at the moment so its a decent investment

as far as the Excalibur, this is used only for the thug, and that side of the script is still heavily in beta. i rarely test it now. essentially its special heals the player, so it saves on food.

yah technically, everything is done. updated the breaking system as well. but i still want to gather more colors for the trainer, just to make sure i have the most accurate autocolor. (currently at around 30-40 colors)

Yeah, for some reason the script went ape shit today lol, was battling to find colors dunno why after running it for 5hours + yesterday! Anyways Looking forward to the update! All the best mate =]

Thx for this script V1.4 is working well(been using this from 1.3, but the problem is the xp counter doesnt work. I already had that at 1.3. My xp pops up and I have thieving xp counter on, what can be the problem?

The first few times I ran it the xp counter wouldn't work (first 3-5ishtimes for 30mins or so) then it just fix itself lol.

for the exp counter, i have been tryin to figure out the issue… and lookin at my code, i am still perplexed on how it is still happening. but a quick easy fix: if you see it mess up, just restart script. that should solve the exp issue.

well there could be two possible reasons as to why it isnt working:
1. you didnt correctly install SRL/SIMBA - try running other scripts to test this out.
2. your computer lags or has performance issues.

a part from these two things, i can not see any possible way this bug would occur.

im get 47k xp an hour since it keeps pressing lure not knockout and im 91 theif lol

Let it work…it'll eventually start right clicking. At least it did for me, I also restarted a few times.

Works like a charm, can get 95k xp an hour!

to fix it not finding the could after 5mins or so, tell people to turn their brightness up, mine went back down for some reason, I turned it back up and its been going for 15 mins without doing it

After starting up I have camera angle directly north and max height. It starts spinning around looking for him while he's lured in book case.. then the camera will stop directly behind him (wall is now facing you) and it'll spam found Color something something then say can't find trainer etc then successfully executed.. but while it's spamming color if you manually spin around, it starts working.. in other words it needs to be babysat

Please set the script to completely restart every 3-4 minutes until food is out because the thugs simply move (even if they are cornered) after a corner and then the script is useless after a few mins…

Like what? I've got him cornered on 3 sides with 1 side blocked by my body. They literally just move into the spot I am standing after a combo or two and then from there move elsewhere.

I've noticed that some thugs can move into your spot and others cannot, however I cannot corner the latter.

u should specify what npc u r using… like it says in OP it is in beta development (the thugs) and honestly, i have no desire to create a full fledged thug script. so expect there to be issues. i was able to personally run it for about an hr till i ran out of food

Cool, thanks for releasing/creating beta in the first place. For some reason it's working now and the thug isn't moving (no idea why) but another thug keeps opening a curtain. Any ideas on how to get them to stop doing this?

well before i say anything: you arent hassling me, and im sorry if my diction above made it feel like i was annoyed or mad. in fact, i am not. well im doing busy work right now, so i guess that annoys me, but nothing related to this ;). umm as far as keeping them from not opening the curtain… idk. i dont think they ever opened the curtain for me. keep testing out different spots though and hopefully u can get it to work. the main reason why i didnt want to create a full fledged version of this is because once you run out of food… then wat? its hard to figure out how to move to the nearest location (needs to check quests and such) then based upon that location, come back; then after that, relocate in the same building and setup the thug again… you see, lots to do once you run out of food. and though its possible. i simply dont have the time :(.

You have to lure him into the general store and trap him there between the shelves (Picture in thread) And it should work, i'm running it now for 3 hours, finally getting my 99 thieving back :)

Very nice script i must say Warrior, although i catch it sometimes trying to click to fast and it missclicks and it tries to loot anyway, Not a huge problem just telling you so you have a heads up!

Anyone else having the problem of the script lagging every time it clicks lure and then misses out out part of the text therefore cannot cosh?

lvl 82-84 thieving - Yes I did change a few tiny things on the script, was only maxing 108k by default… so since I don't really care about the account disabled on the script antibans, dobreaks & changed mousespeed to 25.

Gonna leave it running till it stops, afterwards I will try to play a bit more to see if I could push it higher changing the timings

Version 6 Update 29 . java 7 has been known to have issues with our scripts. right now im just trying to identify the issue that you are facing. many people above posted about how well its working, but u are having issues. just trying to see if there is any possibility that it is your computer rather than my script.

if you are having issues with that go down this list (hopefully it will help):

1. check to see that your xp counter is either on Total or Theiving
2. check the numbers that are displayed on the total exp in the proggy. if it isnt 0, check to see if it is exactly what your current xp is on the counter. if it is the same, simply restart script.

3. umm i really cant think of anything else. is the regular proggy (non-paint) having this issue?

Mines was working really well for a couple hours but now it just logs out when I start up the script.

java 7 has been known to have major issues with simba/smart/aca/etc.
as far as the exp per hr, before running the script, make sure your xp counter thing is up, that could help.

lol Issue is the way the script is coded

well the only issue is that he is setting it up incorrectly. he obviously didnt read the op well enough. and as far as this activity is concerned, there is only 1 true spot where you cant trap the trainer permanently. so dont blame my script for using that spot, blame rs ;) . oh and im glad ur enjoying it :)

randoms are not solved by individual scripts. our scripts use libraries created by the srl dev team / built in function of simba. the random solvers are created by the srl devs :) so bug them about it

I baby sat one script yesterday and i watched it complete the Maze all by itself with like 50% of the reward left :) and i think it did Honey Bee before aswell but im not sure

fix it yourself :)

i had a similar problem, with it failing often. i edited mine a bit to slow it down, now get ~90k xp/h at level 55ish.

Amazing script :) Can't say I'm having problems with the script itself, just the srl randoms XD Solved evil bob's island then it for some reason thought it failed ;P 120k exp/h so far with only 65 theiving! Great work!

There are hall ways to the east and west of the bigger room but they just lead to dead ends. Think I'm missing something here.

Make sure it is setup originally correct. Get the guy into position. Completely stop the script then restart it. Otherwise try changing your outfit as that may be bugging it.

I'm not sure what's going on but I'm getting 60k/hr at 93thieving. Before this script I used RSBuddy and would get nearly 190k-230k/hr why so low? I'm seeing most people are over 100k why is mine so much lower you think?

Currently using your script and getting well over 120k/h+ but I noticed that sometimes when it goes to Lure the trainer it miss clicks the second time when the trainer says "Wha'" and then it doesn't successfully lure the guy. Any fix for this or is it just lag on my part?

Hey, I tried using v1.5 at menaphite thugs; it would lure them, then knock them out, but then the cursor would keep missing the pickpocket option :p

To blackjack you need to get a rubber blackjack from the vendor in the Thieving guild (the one in lumbridge) Then the next part depends on what you are doing. I don't know how you set up the thug (as I am not doing that) but to set up the advanced pickpocketing trainer, you open the door that leads to the vendor and then lure the trainer into that hallway. Close the door, then lure the trainer again to the side of the room by the spot depicted in the setup for this script and the trainer should walk into place.

Im getting 140k xp/hr i went from 73-95 fast.

if you wnat good exp per hr, dont do menaphite thugs. unless you legit it ofc. that part of the script is in beta, as said on first post. currently there is no way of restoring your supply of hp. so supervision over the script is required for that. and a Maple blackjack (o) is best iirc. but if you actually wnt to gain lvls, i would suggest u use either this trainer script, or the monkey knife fighter script.

change line 188 to a higher integer. should help. the error you get means that it cant find the trainer, but it found the trainers colors. so the autocolor worked, but the finding function did not. by giving the finding function a slightly higher tol, it increases the changes of finding the object.

i am not further updating this beta version of the script. i am leaving it as is. personally, i dont find it worth my time to update. and the clicking too fast means that your either a low fps or have a high ping. both can ruin a theiving/lag sensative script.

I've changed it from 8 to 10. Now trying this :P

I have looked over and over the script and can't find any anti-leech. Is there any?

Sometimes it tries to lure the advanced pickpocketing trainer while being stunned. It fails the lure then proceeds to try to knock him out and loot him. Not sure if this is on my end or not. I have him in the right position, FPS bar is all the way up and I have Java 6. It's not really a big issue as I'm still getting pretty good xp per hour (around 60-80k), just figured I should report it.

the script runs like a charm ive gotten 5 levels in 8 hours.
I would post longer progress but it keeps getting stopped by random events

this script is now broken with the new update :( when you pause it to login and lure, then stop it and push play again, it tries to make a new client.

Yeah, we'll all just have to wait for an official fix to bot properly again

since the srl is "broken" (fixes are available) this script will not work. also, after the fixes have become officially a part of srl, i will update my coordinates on a few things to make it work. once this happens, it will work once again. if anyone has the unofficial fixes, and wish to update this script, all you have to do is add 50 to each static y value (primarily to text finding).

If it says that in Runescape…it seems you don't have a requirement to blackjack/pickpocket maybe?

i do not know if it is still an issue, but for a while (like a 6 month+ span) having java 7 would crash simba/smart. many scripts received complaints about this, and the issues were resolved by downgrading to java 6. i put that in there so i wouldn't get that issue with the people who used java 7.

stop using this script if ur lvl is 99; no point in using it. it does this because there is not more "exp till next lvl" . since it will always be in the - numbers it will constantly try to find a new value that is in the + numbers. just how it is coded. not changing that. feel free to get rid of it urself though.

Yea, that happens sometimes. You still get around 120k xp per hour (at lvl 90) and like 110k per hour (at lvl 80).

Just ran for a little over 4 hours and got over 450k exp. Couldn't do mime random. All in all it rocks the house!

the waits worked perfectly for me (till i got 99) but i guess they dont work perfectly for everyone. change these lines to your optimal settings.

Very nice script, I hate thieving…so much clicking but this takes care of it!

Getting a pretty consistant 95-100k exp/hr @ lvls 71-77 so far.
Tried using it on DXP but the delayed ticks messed it up pretty bad, got worse exp than I get now.

Only problem I've had it sometimes it gives me the error 'location not found' and logs me out. It will happen every 5-10mins, 2 or 3 times then work fine for 2hrs.

I finally got to a high enough level to move on to thugs with a pretty high success rate. After a bit though, i noticed the script was not eating as intended. I worked in a fix and it works fine now using your method to click on food. Change how it discovers low health and u should be golden. Im sure there are better ways to do this, but im very new to simba.

I did a simple EatAtHP = 4500; constant and then modified the rest to look like this:

EDIT:

It's not showing how much exp I earn though? I had to work out how much I'm earning by tracking it for 10 minutes and then multiplying by six. All it's showing in Simba is this:

I'm running into this error when I start up the script. I haven't run into it before, nor could I find anything in the forums via searching.

I've been trying to get into scripting myself, but haven't come across anything that would help me figure this out. Any help is appreciated.

I'm getting around 135k xp per hour and like 50k gp per hour @ low 90s thieving. It's probably best to do @ 95+ as you're supposed to get more xp an hour then because you fail a lot less.

Add an "8" after {Define SMART} at the top then try. If there's one there then remove it and try.

like Austin said. just convert it to smart 8 if it is easier. also remember that this script does become effected by lag, so smart_speedfix can be your friend if u run into errors. i tested this out the other day for a good 6hrs and it worked flawlessly for me still (even though im already 99 XD).

menaphite thugs has always been, and probably will remain a "currently in development" part of the script (like i stated in the OP). expect it to have many errors, i really dont have a desire to create a good script for that.

Well now you can mean 2 things. 1: you dont know how to lure the victim to the spot; I would suggest lookin at a video guide online. 2: the script itself is having issues with luring and clicking the person while already in the spot; try out smart_speedfix first.

well smart speed fix doesnt really change any of the coding, so it wont really fix much. but 99% of all the issues i have ever had with people have been due to lag on their side. all thieving guild blackjacking scripts here have always had more issues when it comes to lag. so, smart speedfix helps reduce lag, thus fixing many peoples issues.
all you have to do for the smart speed fix thing is to do:

Smart_FixSpeed:= True;

directly before

setupsrl; (near the bottom of the script) (u can just ctrl+f that)

I set up smart fix speed like you instructed and it still seems to lag right after clicking lure. This causes the first click of the chat dialog to happen while the client is lagging and the second click to hit the first dialog prompt. Leaving the trainer uphittable and thus un pickpocketable.

So I decided to look into the script and try and figure some things out on my own. I found the script setup at the bottom and put a wait command before the detectnext commands. Tailored it to the lag delay I was having and it seems to be working great, I will update in a bit!

it does, but simba scripts were having issues with java 7 at the time i originally created this script. my latest tests of 5+ hrs have been all on java 7

No, it more likely respawns outside the room when it's not talked to or used for ~3 minutes I think.

Excellent script! Been running for about 7 hours now with no problems, will post a proggy when I get back to my computer.

I figured out the issue that I was having before, I ended up having to comment out the SmartDraw stuff. Still new at this whole scripting thing, so it took me a while to figure it out. :duh:

I got 99 with this script also. Sadly I got no screen shot :(.

Works nicely from what I've tested of it so far. I had it run for about 4 hours and it seems to have a memory leak though.




I'll continue to monitor it and see if it continues.

I've skimmed through every page and tried searching the forum with no luck. Is there anyway someone could help me solve this or at least point me in the right direction?

Be careful guys as awesome as this script is blackjacking is being watched and I just got banned using this script. I would be careful and not use it for a couple days. And yes I was only using simba, This script, and not no I'm not retarded and I don't download any bullshit or go on phishing websites..

Yeah, they've been throwing manual bans on thieving xp farms lately :(

It really sucks cause this is really fast exp and the script is flawless. Jagex doesn't like that..

yes i read this already, i went there and started scrip but it just logs my account out

Maybe it needs some anti-ban in it? I am using java 7 (was hoping it would work, yes i saw you say to use j6), and after the first pickpocket it moves between 2 spots and clicks my character over and over, is this because of the j7? gonna go get j6 now.

edit: does the same thing with j6.

I'm doing the trainer and it works for about 12 minutes and quits.
