**** Note - What I am about to say is not for the feint of heart. If you have a problem or disorder, preventing you from reading EPIC AWESOMENESS, close your computer now, jump up and down, then go to sleep. Otherwise, This thread is for you!
I am looking for a scriptwriter, (Or group/ team)! Yes, I know, scary right?
But these are no ordinary script writers, but total BOSSES! For I need him/ her/ them to write:
The Ultimate Script!
What might this script be, you ask…
Well, this script would have everything, and I mean everything, meaning:
Auto-fighter
Auto runecrafter
Auto miner
Auto mager
Auto Mercher
Auto woodcutter
Auto Fisher
Auto Cooker
Auto firemaker
Auto Dungeoneerer
Auto Smither
Auto crafter
Auto Prayerer
Built in:
Anti Ban
Random Solver
Auto restart after 6 hours (Basically crashsmart procedure.)
Breaking
What I basically mean is, the average person could just take this script, make a new account, run it, and come back a month later(If their computer lasts that long…), and see 60+ in all stats!
I know this might sound crazy, it probably is, however I know that with this community, anything is possible.
So basically, I need a group of advanced scripters, that are not afraid of taking on a challenge. I have looked at putonajonny's thread about script requests, and I was inspired to create this.
If you are in, I will add your name to the list of BOSSES!, if you wish to ask some questions, or have any doubts about this and its functionality( Ex: Will it work? , Is it possible?), Than just post!
:spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob: :spongebob:
****Note 2 - I wish to keep this a clean thread, if you have criticism, great!
If you just wish to troll, or offend anyone, Get Out.
That's what MSI is for.
Haha.

Guys guys guys, normally I would agree with all of you. However, I said one that auto switches skill, Has a fully working random system, has all skills (including Auto Fighting).
BTW, fast replies w00t!

1. That sounds pretty lazy.
2. So basically it would play the game for you. What would the point be again? :P

1) Yes, lazy… :)
2) The point is you don't have to run it that long really, but just long enough to bring your overall level up! As for playing the game for you, that is what botting is all about…
P.S: I get your meaning, but the point is, sometimes your so sick of playing, or even botting one skill only, that you wish you had the

If you tell me how you'd do it, then we can talk.
Basically, what you're suggesting, has been our dream since the birth of SRL. Don't you think someone would have done it if it was such an easy task?

One word: :)
As to how I would do it/ get it accomplished, I would need the help of some top script writers/ programmers such as you :) , Narcle, Wizzup?, putonajonny, and so many more!
What I was planning was to, for example,
For Auto fighting- We would put Narcles Fast Fighter, linked to a totally cool bone looter/ bury script.
For Auto cooking, We could put Chris's fisher, or Al-Kharid cooker by Iron Man.
This way it is an entire community effort for the Awesomeness of botting!

I think he is thinking of that one guy called max who runs around runescape skilling and killing things like a boss. This would be the ultimate script, and also the ultimate improbability. if a account was logged in for a month straight jagex would ban, they ban if an account trains the same skill for 5 days! :P

…? I wasn't thinking of anyone, however I did not say a month straight, There will be breaks. As for the second part, You don't have to do the same skill 5 days in a row, but maybe a day, take 12 hrs break, do another skill, 8 hrs break and go back.

What you're suggesting
is MSI. The randoms solving has nothing to do with the script, it's in SRL. MSI was written so it can easily switch between skills, the actual feature just hasn't been written yet. Maybe I'll do it when I'm done with SRL's randoms system.
I don't know if you've used MSI at all, but it has something like 7 skills. Doesn't that give the impression that others will be added?
I think you should read
this thread. It may make you feel stupid, I don't know.
hmm I as other said MSI is what your looking for, and also if your that lazy not wanting to change scripts for different skills then… Yeaaa..

:( I do kinda feel stupi… Not gonna say it. However, I have not fully given up yet on this thread. Mainly because I have read that post
many times over, and only one thing has gone through my mind… It said coming soon for a
very long time! I may not have been a member for long, but I know that fighting has been on that list for a looong time. I just don't know anymore!

You talk of recruiting people to work on this. People to work on this with you. MSI has WIDELY open arms. MSI has very few active developers. it has been "coming soon for a
very long time" because as a community we have been unwilling to work on it. Change that, and I assure you MSI would progress quickly.

You're right, fighting should probably be taken off there. We did have someone working on it, and they were like 98% finished, but that person went inactive. I think there is some code lying around, but I'm not sure how much of it.

This. MSI is a contributional project, if no contribution is made, then no progress is made. MSI has the capability of completing everything you just requested, however, it is somewhat dreamlike… if you ask me.
Ever since SRL existed, nothing remotely close to this ever existed, the closest thing is MSI, so we'd build on that.

Here's what I'm thinking.
1. Get a top-notch anti-random supergroup going, like Cohen, Yoho, etc.
2. improve antiban (add a minibreaker XD), and make it possible to go directly from one script to the next so the game can literally play itself for 18+ hours .
3. Get scripts of many diversities, ie; ask Narcle if you can put his fighter into MSI.
4.Make a refresher that will refresh SMART every 5.9 hours.
5. Setup a global Runescape walker, like ODT on steroids.
If THAT can be accomplished, then MSI and SRL will have taken a giant leap.
But it's easier said then done.

MSI is able to exist and function due to a complex code structure and rigid organization in how code is written for the project. You do not simply copy a user's script and drop it in MSI.

I'm aware of this. But, theoretically, the user's script could be integrated with some tweaking. I'm no MSI expert, but it seems logical enough seeing as they're written in the same coding language. The global-walking was the main stabbing point of my post though.
Of course, if coding has already been started, it could be easier to finish that. But, I have yet to study into the structure of MSI.

I agree somewhat, BTW solidone, like your mini break :) , forgot to post some time ago…
Edit: I think I will start scripting soon, as soon as I learn how :) .
Do the tutorials on Villavu actually teach you everything you need, or do you need to have previous programming experience?

Thanks man! I hope you find it useful. And I listened to YoHoJo's tutorials on Youtube, read Coh3ns, and studied a couple of scripts and I could code mine in a matter of hours. I have no prior scripting experience man, it's not hard at all. You really gotta want it though, because the first couple of hours are frustrating. My advice is to keep at it, debug your code, and use the help section :p it really comes in handy and everyone over there is friendly. PM me if you're having trouble. But start off with something easy, and go from there.
All the best effendi,

No. It doesn't work like that. Regardless of the scripts being written in the same language, it's about
how they are written. Taking Narcle's fighter for example, would require a complete rewrite and restructuring of the script.

I see. Thanks for making me look like an idiot:p. Well apparently some coding has already been done, so maybe that could be picked up as Coh3n suggested. I think the global walking could be a nice joint project though.

1) You would have to create each script from scratch.
2) The amount of bugs and glitches there would be, would be immense.
3) How will the bot collect all the resources for this? Do you expect it to use the G.E?
4) One update from JaGex would mean several hours/days updating each single script to work.
5)What if the script suddenly closes or crashes? How will it remember where to start?
6) You would also have to include some scripts that complete quests.
7) Runescape being around a decade old now, someone would have thought of this before, back then even with the best scripters/coders this project would have been too much maintenance for the bot to successfully run. If it were possible and not that hard it certainly would have been done by now.
8)When JaGex releases a new update that re-works the maps and some major game content it would pretty much mean re-doing most of a script if that area is affected. (E.G, they re-did burthrope, How can we tell they wont re-work some more area's or add in a new random event blah blah blah?
