I'd say we need a serious rethink on this applicant and his script.

What the hell are people thinking voting yes? He show's zero knowledge of anything substantial: he uses NO TPA's, NO custom object finding method (only SRL's FindObj method), there are NO fail-safes, he uses BITMAPS, NO DTM's. His script's won't even compile! His most advanced methods are ripped from others (e.g. Narcle), and he only uses SPS for walking with no backups/failsafes (as previously mentioned). There's no logic at all in his scripts!

Has everybody completely ignored my analysis of his scripts?

He has applied several times within a week, thus obviously in it for wanting the scripts.

It seems to me people are only voting yes as a retaliation to cycrosism. Since that point, it's just been yes votes, nobody has even taken a consideration into analysing his scripts or reading through my analysis of them. He is mature, yes, but he's an adult! this post is a bit aggressive don't you think? This post with his use of inverted commas show's grudge and aggression towards cycrosism - although minor.

C'mon guys, get a grip! This is ridiculous if he gets in.

EDIT: Oh my god, he's writing another script! He doesn't even test or maintain his others, just abandons them and moves on, implementing the same basic and illogical code!

I honestly have no idea why I voted yes, I don't even remember voting at all to be honest. I've already messaged Hobbit asking if he could change my vote.

I've voted No on almost all of the other applications, which are no better than his.

I already voted no for his three applications within like 2 weeks. I don't know how they are even being considered valid?

I'm in agreement with this.

I didn't notice I hadn't voted on that App, I must have overlooked it as I previously voted no on his last few.

I like the fact he's persistently working twords improving his scripts. He's made a few already and has worked to improve them based on what we've suggested to him. BUT, he's not very active twords the community, that's for sure. As with alot of the new comers lately, he's in such a rush to try for Membership, and why is that? I wonder… If you're really wanting to be part of the community then your rank on a forum should not be holding you back.

I personally think he should just be patient for a while, get to know SRL more in-dept, and prove to be part of the community. I also think we should encourage him to keep going; it's not exactly an "upper" when your Members application is denied…

He didn't even test his scripts at all. He just made them, did a rush job, and put them in. I doubt even if he fixed all of his compilation errors, that it'd work a full load/work at all.

I have voted no at the very beginning of his application, without posting, but for script reasons.

Than I also posted that he should be patient and no hurry while I criticized people only disagreeing with cycro.

I was almost shitting bricks seeing all the yes afterwards.(seriously, not joking here)

I just posted my opinion on that thread. I was probably pretty harsh.

I like his attitude and persistance. Plus cycrosism is too blunt IMO.

Don't worry, he has four weeks to create a new script and learn how to actually do it. Should be long enough for him not to be too impulsive.
And since when is a working script necessary to get members? Heck, you can apply with modified falador aircrafters (crtl-r falador varrock) and get tons of yes votes.
