UPDATED - 12 Nov 2011

I know getting MSI to install and run is quite a hassle for you New Comers so I will provide a through tutorial with pictures. If this guide is too difficult to understand, try this one.

CONTENTS:
A. Downloading Simba/MSI/SRL
B. Getting SMART V6.8
C. Getting SPS.
D. Common Errors.

E.Credits.

If you are new and you have nothing important associating with your Simba folder, go on ahead and delete it.
A. Downloading Simba/MSI

1. Download Simba HERE and do a full installation.
2. Proceed to starting up Simba (Located in Simba folder). From here:
-Click on View located on the toolbar to the top.
-Click on Extensions
-Click on Msi.sex, thus enabling it.
-While your at it enable Srl.sex
Make sure its highlighted in green once you enable it.

3. Click on MSI located on the toolbar to the top. From here:
-Click on settings and then check "Override update"
-Click on UPDATE and wait for MSI to download and install.
-Do it once more to make sure you have MSI in it's latest form.

You should now have succesfully installed MSI Pheonix.

Installing SRL
-Click on Srl
-Click on update and let it do its magic…

Now on to getting the latest SPS (the walking plugin MSI uses to handle all its walking procedures) and SMART V6.8 (a nifty plugin that allows us to multi-task while botting by allowing scripts to work through a minimizable Runescape screen).

B.
Getting SMART v6.8.
1. Usually Simba does this for you, but sometimes a release is made and it's not pushed instantly. So:
-Download SMART HERE
-Unzip it.
-Locate your Simba folder, open it up, now open up the plugins folder. Extract the contacts of the SMART zip you just downloaded into that folder.
It should ask you to replace a file, say yes to all.
You should now have the latest SMART.

C. Getting SPS.
1. Download the SPS zip HERE
2. Locate your Simba folder. Open it up and proceed to opening up the Includes folder.
3. Extract the folder inside SPS zip into there.
4. NOW RENAME THAT FOLDER INTO SPS. YOU MUST.
5.Inside your SPS folder there will be a plugin. Copy it and put it in the main Simba plugin folder.

You should now have the latest SPS.

D. Solutions for Common Errors. PLEASE READ!

Error:
Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'sps/sps.simba' used from 'C:\Simba\Includes\MSI/MSI/Core/Setup.simba'

Solution: This problem is self explanatory. The script is looking for a file that is not there. So you either have not copied the SPS.dll found inside your SPS folder, or you simply don't have it SPS. Please follow the SPS part of the tutorial thoroughly.

Error:
C:\Simba\Includes\srl/srl/misc/Smart.scar(29:5): Unknown identifier 'SmartHoldMousePlus' at line 28
Compiling failed.

Solution: The current version of SMART you have is either conflicting with something or it's outdated. Follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have Winrar.
2. Download SMART here.
3. Open up the Zip file.
4. Make sure all your Simba's are closed.
5. Extract the contents of your Zip file to the main Simba plugin folder which is located inside your Simba folder.
6. Start the script again.

E. Credits:

Your tutorial is clearly better than mine of course lol. Nothing wrong with it all. It's just that these new comers need pictures. Just tryna lessen the hassle with everyone who has to answer questions over and over again.

The SPS part. The very last. Letter C.
Look here @ SRL we use our common sense a lot(well we attempt to). Please read and search before making countless posts. If you still are stuck we are here to help you.

Your looking for sps.dll NOT .simba. It is located, as stated, in the plugins folder.

Make sure you read everything and not just look at the pics ;)

The SPS.dll(plugin) is found in the SPS folder. Copy it, then paste it inside your main Simba plugin folder.

Let's try manually updating your SMART.

1. Make sure you have Winrar.
2. Download SMART here.
3. Open up the Zip file.
4. Make sure all your Simba's are closed.
5. Extract the contents of your Zip file to the main Simba plugin folder which is located inside your Simba folder.
6. Start the script again.

Either wait an hour or less for an update to MSI (MSI updates every hour) or add {$loadlib sps} right after the line program program MSI_Script;

1. Make sure you have sps downloaded.
2. Inside your sps folder, go to the plugin folder and copy the sps.DLL
3. Go to your main plugin folder found in the simba folder and paste it in there.

Or just follow the sps part of my tutorial more throughly .

Enter your players information in panel 1, THEN click add player. You should be fine after that. The Load button is greyed out because you don't have any players saved.

Also SPS is now in the SRL updater extension (if you have the extension updater enabled, go update that and grab it!)

{$endif}

this is in a script named simba i assume it happens when i try to launch msi

I'm getting the same error, did a clean install of simba. Is CharsNPC supposed to be in Simba? Because it isn't defined inside simba.simba and it doesn't use any includes.
