November 6th, 2011 ~ Access Violoation Solution

[ADMIN]This issue has been found and FIXED. If you're getting an access violation, it's from something different! DO NOT do anything that's outlined in this thread.[/ADMIN]

So we're not exactly sure why this works, but it's not a fix by any means. It's a temporary solution that will allow everyone to use MSI and SPS without error (hopefully).

When your MSI updates, you also have to download the most recent version of SPS, otherwise you may encounter some errors. Again, we should have an automatic updater for SPS in the near future so you won't have to worry about downloading it manually.

Hope it works for everyone,
The MSI Team

Did you download the latest SPS? You also need the new RunMe.simba file from the update.

Do you have {$loadlib sps} at the top of RunMe.simba?

Oh, yeah I forgot about that too. All you have to do is add {loadlib sps} under program MSI_Script at the top of RunMe.simba.

Same for me, unfortunately. I did run a script from msi (east var mine) and it gave this proggy
 {----------------------------------------------------------------}
{ MSI Phoenix Player Report }
{----------------------------------------------------------------}
{ Time Running: 5 Hours, 37 Minutes and 52 Seconds }
{----------------------------------------------------------------}
{ }
{ Player 0: *********** }
{ Location: Varrock East Bank }
{ Time: 03h 45m 39s }
{ Active: True }
{ }
{ Script: Varrock East Miner }
{ Time: 03h 45m 39s }
{ Skill: Mining }
{ Exp: 14,648 }
{ Level: 29 }
{ Loads: 30 }
{ Item: Tin ore }
{ Amount: 429 }
{ Item: Copper ore }
{ Amount: 408 }
{ }
{----------------------------------------------------------------}
{----------------------------------------------------------------}
Got home with the (runescape update message).
Tried to restart it and keep getting the access violation message in simba, about sps.

The sharemem thing could maybe solve this, like markus said in the other thread.
Simba just needs to be made compatible.

Does your RunMe.simba have a {$loadlid sps} in it? If it doesnt then it should go roght after the line prpgram MSI_ Script

See http://bugs.villavu.com/view.php?id=331
That should theoretically solve all the issues.

I am still getting this error after trying everything in this thread, i can get it to run sometimes if i restart it 10 times or so, but for fishing when it has to change spots or go to bank it gives the error.I'm running a 64 bit os is that a prob? if so i can reload one of my comps to a 32 bit.

I have the same error when running MSI. Nothing was wrong before the {$loadlib sps} update.
I have no clue why this is happening. Latest versions of SRL, SPS and MSI.
Log: http://pastebin.com/HSRyVKBE

Maybe it's because of my 64 bit OS, I have no idea.

Delete the line {$loadlib sps} and then see if the error still occurs.

64-bit users seem to be the majority with the issue.

He'll get an unknown identifier since the SPS library won't be included at all.

Yes it will be fixed in the next update. The error you're having as nothing to do with this thread, so get rid of the loadlib. It's completely separate.

Kyle Undefined

2011-12-07 14:12:45

When you open up Simba, it will tell you.

Or, you can click the extension at the top and click on "Check for update".
