03-Mar-2010 - RuneScape Lobby/Login Changes

From today, when logging into the game, you will notice that the Welcome Screen has been replaced with what we’re calling the RuneScape Lobby.
There are several things you can do in the lobby before you enter the game. You can see which worlds your friends are playing on; you can chat to friends or enter a Clan Chat; you can switch worlds and set your favourites; and you can change your display options. The lobby adds no additional clicks to getting into the game.
When logging out of the game, you will re-enter the lobby and stay logged in for up to an hour (though you can fully log out by clicking on the ‘X’ at the top-right of the lobby). As you don't need to enter your password to go from the lobby into the game, this should make things much more convenient when you want to change worlds or take a short break.

I see that, even though it's going to be some work to fix SRL , I like it :)

Lets hope there is enough bugs to abuse like the engine update a while back :)

It basically switchs all the options to off /whatever.

I think it's the orange text colors.

I'm getting it loaded fine and bots that don't have to login are working 100% other bots that need to login by themselves to work aren't working for obvious reasons :P

I know this sounds like complete leech, but does the official SRL get updated by you guys (admins and higher ups), then you update it on the server, and all of us minions simply SVN update our SRL folder?

Uber, anyone can post fixes. ;) Developers+ just commit it so that anyone can download it via svn.

I doubt it, but i don't know for sure. AFAIK the displayed hitpoints at the top by the logout button is x10, the one in the level game tab isnt, and the name has changed to something else that i don't remember :p

A hit of 500 = a hit of 50. The xp rate is not changed.

Hate to change the subject but it's killing me.
I wish I had the scripting knowledge to update it.
Not being able to auto is driving me up the wall. :frusty:

It's being fixed. ;) I think the log in is already fixed, but I dunno if anything has been commited yet.

Yup. :) Try updating SRL. See if it works. I've no idea if it works or not, as I don't have SCAR at work. (haha that'd be awesome.. :p) So don't post here if it doesn't work, please. :3 Thanks.

POMS wanted to update.
I let it.
Tried running the Essence Banker in POMS.
SCAR crashed.
Opened it back up.
SMART will not open now.

Im pritty sure ive updated everything, SMART is working but even when a new login.scar was downloaded it wont login… :'[ Suppose it was an update for the old login screen…

Except for the fact that NONE of the scripts that worked fine previously are working now.

Please be patient until Login.Scar is updated…you can try fixing yourself, or try applying some of the fixes other people have posted…

Any ETA on when it will be properly fixed? Typical it breaks just as I try to start scripting SRL, but I would want to use SMART, therefore kinda need it to work.

Login.scar has been fixed for awhile.

Updated to the latest SVN a few days ago, must have just missed the fix, just updated again and am not on 418 of the srl-opendev repo.

Just tried it, on SMART it just moved the mouse about 1 cm back and forth, doesn't login. (using the latest version of POMS tutorial runner).

That would explain it, maybe I will try and make my own (I have other programming experience, but SCAR is a new language to me, would this be diving in the deep end too much or worth a shot?)

Yes, it does… it needs to be fixed.

But the one in SRL is fine, so try using any script but that one?
