Hi,

Was wondering…. If I created a online PHP/MySQL software for you (the scripter), to adapt your scripts to. Where all of your scripts stats and proggies will be saved, would you use it? (I do not mean something like a password/account stealer.)

Ex:

Record your players proggies, which you can manage from a client-side, so you may see trends in proggies and also the debugs, which the user did not see but is recorded, for you to observe and correct any mistakes/bugs.
Record your scripts total runtime/uses and total stats similiar to (previous) SRL Stats page, but more flexibility and organized.

Let me know if you guys would like this, because I am making one for myself and if more people want it, I can make it more user friendly so its not just me who can see it :P

I believe TViYH and mormonman have both done this before anyways, maybe not to that extent but some form of it.

like every 100th user inputs their SRLID and pass, so srl-stats doesn't actually say how much your script is used

I think we are still allowed to use the "basic / fake" account now, if the user does not insert their SRL Stats ID… maybe Wizzup will make ID "1337" have a password at "password", and if the SRLID is not filled in, it will use that ID. We just are not allowed to force a user to use SRL Stats.

Its very easy uploading it also, just need to create a databases on your server, and a few php scripts etc..

I got unlimited space + unlimited bandwidth on my site + unlimited pretty much anything.

If you use my site for this, Ill hook you up with a [email]yourdesiredusername@zaszmedia.com[/email] email address (if you want).

The stats system could be set up at like Nadeem.zaszmedia.com or stats.zaszmedia.com or whatever you would like.

Right now the site is down until tonight, but if you write the code and everything, it will be back up.

i would love it. i was going to do it cause i have my own .com i got a WHILE ago….
you should have TONS of features though… like what time of day the script is most often run… what time mods are usually found by FindMod random solver… etc etc etc….

I've started this project currently, and really no need for any hosting and etc… :P I already own a 2 co-located servers in Miami and Mississauga/Toronto. And I've been thinking of calling is SRL Stats Extended (SSE). I'm currently working on the php classes and global functions to start off, once I get a basic user interface down, I'll post the link so you can see the on-going progress :)

hahah Wizzup, I guess we both chose 'Extended', for the new version :P Anyways, I do not quite get the point of that thread? Are you just asking for what the members would like or asking for some help?

I was actually thinking of making it as a JAVA applet as the user interface, and PHP/MySQL can just be the server side scripts grabbing and storing data :P But i guess thats not really needed, its a bit useless if I do it that way i think…
