Directions:

• Open and press run.
• Click Next a few times and let it access all connections to Villavu.com
• Success!
• To update, run it again.

General Note: There's a chance that even if it says it didn't work but you allowed it proper access, it still might have worked. Just try running a reflection script to see :)

It works wonderfully. I have one issue with it though.

Maybe you could fix this?

If you run it, get up to the part where you click install and it starts downloading and installing stuff, if you go to an internet page with a scrollable page on it, it scrolls the page down automatically. I take it it does this because when I went back to the install thing it was scrolling down on there to show you each thing it was installing.

That's the only thing I found to be a bit weird with it.

All in all, an excellent, marvelous piece of work! Good Job Widget! Keep it up!

Widget… I just used this, thank you. It made installing reflection incredibly easy.

For some reason I seem to encounter a problem with it running it is an error on lone 87 i think it may be interfering with SMART?

Widget, you should add that you need to manually move the Embedded_Smart.dll for now.

Lol, first update for this script, now copies any DLLs it encounters over to /Plugins/ :)

Also, it turned out specifying your own directory to install to wasn't doing anything :<. Fixed anyway

Problem solved after deleting Embedded_SMART.dll from plugins directory.

Delete Embedded_SMART.dll from your plugins folder (BACKUP just in case!).
Try Closing SCAR,and then run it as Admin,and it should install.

Yes, thank you Widget. Had problems for 10 minutes but I read the more recent posts and for my laptop on Vista, I had to Run as Admin. On my laptop with Windows XP, I only had to Delete Embedded_SMART. Got it working now. Thank you so much. :)

You need to have the latest SMART plugin inside the Plugins folder to resolve that issue. If you look at the last few posts, there should be some explanation that describes how that can be accomplished if you receive errors while running this.

Eh, if it looks like it worked than it probably did. I should just change that to a warning instead of an error-style thing

Ok using vista, and it didn't install successfully and i tried to delete the file he said to, but i don't have privelegs?? WTF?! I'm on admin account, and pressed the admin buttons and no matter how hard I try it won't delete! HALP!

Same problem. Plugins folder needs you to verify that you are giving the program permission, when you are copying something into it.

Go to your scar's plugins folder, (for me its C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.20\Plugins) and delete Embedded_SMART.dll

After that, run scar as admin (right click 'run as administer) go to

and under firewall:connections and firewall: file access choose 'allow all' (PS you may want to turn this off after your done, but idk if it matters) then click run, and it should work!;););)

Are those with the new version? It was caused by trying to move the plugin on top of SMART which SCAR was holding in place so i couldn't touch it. The new one doesn't care if the moving of the plugin is successful or not.

Wasn't thinking when I posted it, it doesn't crash, but it freezes when it's trying to install the .DLL file.

Sometimes I've noticed that the thing that asks for permission gets stuck under the form. Of course, the way SCAR forms work, you can't actually move the form to get to the permission window -.-. Maybe I'll ask freddy if he can do something about it.

Nope. Either you're on Vista or you already have SMART and in that case SCAR is using it so my script can't move it.

If you don't have already have SMART, just go to Tools > Explore folder > Includes folder, then SRL > Place inside Plugins folder. Copy that and go up until you see a folder called Plugins, and paste it there.

Use Subversion or a program like TortoiseSVN to check out the repository at http://scardevreflection.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/.

they are done, but it isn't posted yet, how are we supposed to rip it off when they still have it private? lol

The hooks are in the rs.jar file included in the SVN repository. We'd still need to rewrite a big part of the system, though.

I had a look in the client.class with a decompiler, and it looks like a lot of the hooks are deleted and/or renamed. It looks like reflection will need a bit of a re-write.

This used to work perfectly, but when I try to Install this, it says this.

If you've been using SMART thusfar it doesn't matter, otherwise just go into the C:/program files/scar 3.21/includes/srl/srl/reflection/place inside plugins folder/ and copy everything in the folder into C:/program files/scar 3.21/plugins/

When I try using Marpis autofiter that works perfectly without SMART with SMART, it's still not working. I guess that I'm not just gonna use reflection.

this is very nice and is very user friendly but i just use this….

open notepad and paste this:

svn checkout http://scardevreflection.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ reflection
move reflection SRL\SRL

and save it as a .bat (batch file)

Updated slightly. Rewrote the file list building so it will work with nested folders (which reflection doesn't have yet hence why I never bothered doing it proerly :p). Also fixed the bevels because I did them wrong the first time (that just annoyed me, nothing important.)

I've also released an SRL installer now with my new parser in the "Other Scripts" section under all the Public/Jr. Member scripts forums.

For some odd reason scar stop responding when trying to download sandwhich.scar o.o?

Reflection is drad, read the post dates.

.scar is for SRL 4 only, upgrade to SRL 5. Also, reflection is dead.
