OMFG I WAS DEBUGING CLIENT! Found a world select page on jagex webpage.

Good find. Delving further, it seems that the old world selection way does work, with one difference.
OLD:
http://world116.runescape.com/p0 – Doesn't work.

NEW:
http://world116.runescape.com/j0 –Works, hooray.

More specifically, http://world116.runescape.com/j0,m1 will give a members world (I think)
m0 will give non-members.

Markus already posted it quite some time ago… You can also just get the world link by just not accepting the certificate.

oh crap your right lol, all that smart needs is to have it change itas embedding code for the url, then it will work just like it always had (only i dont think it will be possible to make it open a world as unassigned, unless theres another part of the url that no one has found that will open it under that)
