Welcome to the brand new Essence Mining thread, due to the previous one becoming too big. ;)
I have finally continued the Essence Miner, and it is definitely back!
If you like my Script, please consider to register at SRL-Stats. It would also be nice if you sell essence for a price about the median JageX's set's for essence, so essence will be worth more and more. :)

Features:

• Mines Rune Essence & Pure Essence.
• Solves the Abyssal Random.
• Opens closed doors near Aubury, so it will not get stuck.

Setup

• Start in Varrock East bank, wielding a pickaxe.
• Have Rune Mysterious Quest finished.

Notes:
-Run is not added yet. You get 600 Essence per hour without it. You are free to add it yourself, however.

@ Timer Its not really needed for waits like that as Getting UpText takes a bit of time as does moving the mouse to click on it. I think that its mainly used to follow something like an NPC until it stops incase of a misclick?

Will result true if you level / if nothing happens, and if you level it will take a screenie.
If you do not level, it will result False and exit.

Like you can use if LvlCheck then WalkToPortal; or something.

E: Using QUOTE tags because SCAR messes everything up on the thread. You might need to edit some vars for it to work correctly. Look @ my caver if you need any vars/you do not know what it means in this procedure, all I did was rip this outta my caver :redface:

Uploaded version 2.01. :)
Added LevelUp and fixed the SRLID bug.

Maybe add some kind of Anti-Logout. Because my chars always seem to logout because of staying inactive for too long. Maybe something that clicks a random tab, checks lvl or something I dno. :)

EDIT: Just lvled up, but it doesn't seem to click anywhere.

It actually times out Wizzup, not because it levels up, but because the mouse doesn't move while it waits for a full load of essence stones. I saw it personally a few times when I ran it :)

And your object finding is.. rly weird. It almost never will find Aubry if he doesn't talk, and 75% of the time will not find an ess stone to mine. more tolerance maybe?

Yeah same here about the finding of the essence. Maybe make it search for the ess untill it says "You swing your pick at the rock" in the chat? :)

for some reason it logged on my player did atleast 3-4 banks and than logged i said do 14 loads. and the player was beside the ess with full invo :S

Remade LevelUp, sort of. And added a check so you will not logout.

Wizzup, you might wanna also check the walking procedure. I tested it to see how it was because I knew several people when trying to make this script they had troubles with walking. Sometimes, I'd say 2/5 times my character goes towards a right door, and opens it for no apparent reason, then walks inside Aubery's Shop.

I get the same problem, but the script still runs.

Its because he messed up the stats, check back on the first page

Another update. Further improved the LevelUp. I can confirm it works now, on my no-longer-level-1-miner it worked.
It should now no longer mess up the stats, too. ;)

I hope this update is final for a while, as far as I know it now has no bugs.

It is not very easy to integrate in the Multi Miner, due to different walking concepts. I also would like to keep the SRL Essence Miner and the Dual Miner's Script Stats seperate… :)

I get [Runtime Error] : Exception: in line 46 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/Math.scar when i try to run it?

I got a bug to report, i downloaded the latest version and when you get the abyss random it thinks it a quiz and doesnt do it and in the random report it says quizes missed:1


Oh and can you please add sleep/break into the script, that would be great!

I recommend everyone switches back to version 2.3. 2.4 has a nasty bug.

Because the Abyss is more or less a random that you only get when Mining Essence and Teleporting… But maybe it should be in SRL after all. The Pillory random is in too, after all.

That happens when SVN tries to download srl but found an error whithin. Just delete the whole srl, and download again.

Nope, I don't get any lag. I was running this, and doing Rune Mysteries on two accounts at the same time (signed and unsigned) and I still got no lag.

Its pretty easy, just copy your SCAR folder and paste another one and name it like SCAR1 then when you wanna run 2 scripts open the your normal scar and then open scar from the 2nd folder. Just make sure when you run the scripts on them, that the SMART is on different worlds overwise it will mess up. You can do this with as many scars as you want, but i can only run 3 otherwise i lag too much. :) thank/rep me if i helped.

I say this because the rune ess price increased really high to 65gp last week, but now is going veryy low fastt and is currently at 47gp. The profits are going really low because I currently have 8k ess and if I sell at 47gp I make 376k and if I sold at 65gp I would make 520k. That's a pretty big difference so please?:(

I'll try it when I've stopped SCAR later, because I'm using SMART now, and it won't let me copy my SCAR folder until I've stopped it.

i had it going today its working and i think that the east door opening is good antiban as there are quite a few perfectionists out there and it looks pretty human-like id keep it in tbh just my opinion though :P

I keep gettin stuck in the ess mine with "no bank" maybe missing a failsafe when leaving ess mine? Also when it does manage to get back to shop and out shop, it cant find bank.. so I made a DTM for the bankers on the MiniMap, works great now, but I'm still gettin stuck in the mine :(

Also (I think someone mentioned this) but when opening the door to shop, it opens the first door it can find on the screen (which usually is one like in a corner of the screen) so maybe when looking for door, instead of searching on whole screen, maybe only search in a box around the MSC…

Guys, you do know Jagex controls the prices. Yes there is more essence, but Jagex is the one lowering the prices.

Was working fine for me, but now has decided to stop. I've tried it a few times now, and the same thing has happened. Within 20 minutes, 4 players were inactive.




I closed SCAR before I took the proggy, so I don't know exactly how long they ran for, and I forgot to take a screeny of the fourth guy. But I do know that he was standing outside the shop, with no ess.

A little modification of the GE graph, and this is what I came up with.


41 GP = The price of Rune Essence before it started to rise.

65 GP = The peak price of Rune Essence

46 GP = The price of Rune Essence currently

Now, you can see some dates, "what's significant about them" you may be thinking. Well,

17th August = The date that Wizzup?'s Essence miner was released to SRL Members and above

29th August = The date that Wizzup? decided to release his Essence miner to users who were Junior Member and up.

As you can probably see from the graph, before the miner was even released, the price was rising without our help. Of course, this may have been to Wizzup?'z extensive testing of the script. :D

A few (3) days after the script was released to SRL Members, Rune Essence reached it's peak price; 65 GP per.

One day later the price started to decrease. Only one week after the price reached 65 GP, it had plummeted by 14 GP, to 51 GP. That's 2 GP a day.

On 29th August, Wizzup? released his script to Junior Members. Since then, the price has still been decreasing, and I can't see this changing, until people start selling their Essence at mid price or above.

Yep, I've got 32 bit, 1152 by 864 res. I don't know why it's going wrong for me. One day it worked for hours on end, the next, it couldn't do 2 loads.

Still running but would like to post some observations.
1. when level, it would click on level msg and then walk to portal and bank, ie. doesn't continue mining
2. even when in aubury's shop, it will walk to open the east door and then get stuck at SE of shop or close aubury's door (?!?). so I really wish the character will leave those far away doors alone.
3. when in NW mines, it seems to have more problem finding the portal, don't know why.

btw, just a note about the prices falling. Before the RC minigame, rune ess max was about 40-42gp. So really, do expect the prices to drop over time.

your script ROX! i dont really ever feel like saving the proggys, but i mine an average of 2k+ essence in 3~ hours, and then usually a random event stops it.

Stopped it manually of course. Player 0 got a ban a long time ago, cba to replace it. The false one went false for no bank the previous proggy, 3 minutes before i stopped it. He had gotten a quiz, landed in the shop, and the script logged him out I believe.

I don't pwn the 46 hour one, but I don't believe in banning all my miners.. Such as the old rules of autoing were laid in place. You know, the seven rules? I can't link, but that's what I have to say to that guy who raped his char..

hey congrazt on bringing back ur signature script. but i do have to say it has problems findin essence in the mine, then just gives up. i tried to change it to have more failsafes, but it didnt work with the whole script very well. you know the script code better than anyone else, so mabye while ur adding run, you update that as well

Ahh Wizzy havnt been on here in awhile fort it was kinda dead but seems not. Your script was perfect for me i only tested it for 40 minutes and 9 secounds but it was all good never got stuck. When i get my new pc running ill give it a longer go.

Actually..Scripts like these usually have them run with the inv full. Which is the opposite of what you want.

Did you only run this script on those accounts? If you get banned for using a script, you only get banned like two weeks after you've started using it, not before those two weeks.

The problem isn't "same keystrokes", it's you. If you're going to auto on a single account, don't do it for more than 4 hours a day. 8ish hours if you're doing it for two, and overnight for more. Humans would never mine essence for 8 hours straight on a level 30, it's just common knowledge.

Sorry I don't have a proggy for you, I mainly used this before you put progress reports in :p Maybe I should start autoing again.

Check that you didn't misspell something or put a space somewhere or redownload the script an try again.

i got this error trying to run it:
[Runtime Error] : Exception: Access violation at address 6720456E in module 'Embedded SMART.dll'. Read of address 00000000 in line 1098 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Scripts\essence miner.scar

so i checked to see if my smart works and it does (used quick test)
i re-dowloaded all my includes and srl revisions…didnt work :\
help please?

Have you moved (not copy and paste but cut and move) the plugin Embedded_SMART.dll from

C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Includes\SRL\place inside plugins folder

to

C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Plugins

I noticed alot of people have been getting this error even thou you might be putting in your user name correctly.

This is how i solved the same problem. If there are any spaces in the names use underscolls. Make sure you fill out the nick names, atleast 4 chars long….

should look something like this:


Players[0].Name :='ilovetobot';

Set up your player correctly. I've said it at least once every page.

i have this error, and i dont mean to annoy you, but when you say set up your player, I think i have. I have put in the botting username, pass, nick, my srl id and pass but it still doesnt work for me. To repeat it, i dont mean to annoy you (sorry if i do) as i have seen u say you have put it up nearly every page.

adding run is easy an so is taking out the opendoor

add this to banktoaubury
SetRun(True);

then on auburytobank or minetoaubury add
SetRun(false);

to take out the door opening find it an take out the procedure and all the places its called
(to find the places its called compile the script script>compile and it will say error like blablabla then delete that line continue until it compiles)

Just wondering if its only me but the script only goes to world 86 on smart even though I set it on 100 and sometimes it goes to 100 but thats really rare and only happenend twice any suggestions on fixing this?

Math.scar is on your part, I had this issue before.
You should make sure your SRL is up-to-date and if it is, I don't know.

Wizzup usually it stops right next to the building with the teleport guy and says this 0 : ****= F; NoBank; B: 3814 Essence; M : 61. Any idea why it just logs out?

Thanks for the attempted help, but reread my posted player function. It does, in fact, comment the unused players out. I just didn't put the { on a new line, because the } wasn't on a new line.

He DID delete them - commenting them out means the compiler doesn't read them. It's the same thing as deleting them, except he doesn't have to actually type it back in if he wants to 'undelete' them.

If you have Reflection, you need to copy the new DLL from the reflection folder (C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Includes\SRL\SRL\reflection\Place inside plugins folder\embedded_smart.dll) into the plugin folder (C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Plugins)

When I run it I get a little pop-up "Error starting smart, check world prefix." Then when I press OK the box and Scar close.

Wouldn't you achieve longer Progress Reports with 3 than just one player.
Especially for testing I try to use as many accounts as possible depending on how long it can run without a random etc.

hellian, read some tuts in the SMART section, they will help you out, not here. Its very simple to do once you get there, it isn't the script, its your SMART

Oook, this is weird.

I thought 'Nick' could be any 3-4 consecutive letters of your username, it didn't work that way. When I changed it to the FIRST 4 letters of my name, it worked.

Thats SRL's problem , not this scripts. Scripters RARELY incorporate anti-randoms in their scripts ;) because SRL has them , and they get updated with each revision ( some woodcutters have their own ent functions tho etc)

Make sure your players are set up correctly and that you have the latest SCAR and SRL revision.

If the smart fix doesnt work for you (it didnt for me) then
Delete the Smart include at the top of the script, then goto line 1076 where it says

Smartsetup(SmartPrefix, true, true, false);

Change it too

//Smartsetup(SmartPrefix, true, true, false);

This will make it use your mouse… so no multi tasking (sorry) but it works… what it does is makes it ignore the smart startup, so its like running any other script without smart

There are a couple of solutions for this. The simplest being just to change the Players[x].Boolean[0] from true to false for all the ones that are unused. The other way is to delete/comment out the unused spots, then change the value of NumberOfUsers to the proper amount.

Setup all your players correctly, and you will not get this error.
(Make sure SRL is updated)

Downloading now, will test later on.

At first it keeps clicking around the audio and graphics settings, and then it finally starts walking after some time. I don't know why, needs to get updated.

Same i have a level 44 so i made him do the rune mysteries quest and after i did that i looked at his mining level and he had 4 mining. So he mined about 3 essence, got a level up and walked to the bank and didnt finish off the load, happens every time he levels up

i do not publish it anywhere.. :P
i added run but very simple.. then run 100% then it clicks on it (DTM), i am just start programing at scar, so dont have other way in my mind.. anyway it start then takes essences in the bank checks or run 100 then do procedure. :) anyway script is exelent.. just here i dont see bank pin funcion…, and smart doesnt work for me :X trying to fix that problemi hope it works somehow..

Great script, but i think my luck is T3h Sux because my friend can bot, same settings, and he wont get any special randoms for 9hrs straight, but i get 2hrs and oh look its EVIL BOB, or ODD ONE OUT… pisses me off. we use the same script and the only thing we change is the logins

i'm guessing today's update stopped it as it was in the bank with ess

nope it does it always. see i use only 1 player with this script and for when it opens runescape i have to disable smart put the pin and then again play the script i think now that it is because pin needs to be rewrote im notsure and the other theory is that the player loggs off and then loggs on and then the pin surely needs to be rewritten.
