This is a script which will power fish any fish on free worlds, at any fishing spot.

- AntiRandoms
- AntiBan
- Fully Autocolour
- Whirlpool Detector
- Equipment finder (if you lose it on the ground)
- Option to drop items from random events such as gems, or just fish
- Calibrates around the Fishing symbol if it doesnt find the fishing spot after a certain number of times (can be turned off at line 36 if you wish)
- Detects if we run out of bait or feathers (if using Fishing or Fly Fishing rod)
- Option to auto detect what to fish, based on level and equipment (more below).

About Auto:

If you wish to use this, set Players[Number].Strings[0] to 'Auto'.

What Auto-detect does is checks your fishing level, and then checks your inventory for any equipment we can use, searching from the highest level down. If it is successful in finding some equipment that we can use, it then proceeds to look for a fishing spot which matches that equipment. If it doesnt find a spot, it searches for some more equipment to use, making sure to not search for the other equipment again. It updates dynamically after each load dropped, which means if you level and you can use a higher piece of equipment, it will check for it, and use it if found.

So for example: You set your level 1 fisher at Draynor, with a net and 100 bait. It will see that the level is 1, so will automatically use the net. When it gets to level 5 fishing, it will detect this and start fishing using the rod and bait. When it runs out of bait, it will revert back to the net. This can be applied anywhere - edgeville (with a fly fishing rod and normal fishing rod), karamja (with a net, fishing rod, harpoon, lobster cage) etc. :)

Of course, if you dont like the idea of Auto, then you can set the String to the name of the equipment that you will be using - Net, Bait, Lure, Harpoon or Cage.

This is a good script. Worked good so far.got my fishing up to 20 in an hour. i would post a progress report but for some reason it doesn't show one.

ummm… is it just my stupid internet or something? it started pretty well but like 2 mins into running runescape just freezes… so i exit SCAR and all of a sudden runescape unfreezes. Any one else know what im doing wrong or maybe have the same problem?

Worked great for a while, went out for an hour though and came back to this. [Runtime Error] : divide by Zero in line 42 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.12\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/Mouse.scar

but it worked well before that, the random was stopped.

I wonder why it stopped, Btw I set the loads to 10. But besides that, this script is great and im going to be using this one.

Hey, this script is great but only problem is that, every 5-10min it logs out…how do i fix this?

I think I might've gotten same problem as you because when I came back it was logged out.

To stop it logging out often, you can change the constant PlayerLoads to something higher than 2 :)

Yes, that was the first thing I did. It still logs out though. I changed it to 900.


And also….is there a fishing script that has a good banking script? And can you just merge this fishing script + the banking part from the other one = #1 script ever.

hmm, You could set MaxLoadTime to something higher also. And yea theres a couple of good fisher bankers already, in the Junior SRL Member section though so theres not really much point in making this bank

Well, this does not seem to be working very well. It will begin fishing, It says "Didnt find the equipment that we are using
Searching on ground for equipment
Equipment type is Small" and once the fishing spot is gone, it just sits there. My first character was the one that messed up the most. I will attach the prog and some of the debug.

"my username" is going to false

Not even half of my inventory was filled and it logged me out, and made me as False. I followed all of the instructions.

did you have it on signed? it sounds like it wasnt finding the equipment bmp

I'm verrry sure it was not on signed. I will go double check and edit my post, since it only takes about 3 minutes for it to freak out.

Brilliant script. The frog random was a bitch and also wouldn't talk to the genie. Every other random was fine, apart from other players randoms causing me to say something like 'Rick gave me 160 gold' when actually it wasn't for me. Im guessing there is nothing that can be done about that. Fair enough.

Went and watched TV for 1 hour and a half, came back and was still going strong

Hmmm yeah, frog random in SRL isnt 100%, unfortunately. And it should only talk when the random is for you, lol. Maybe someone nearby had to same nickname as you. Also, the auto-talking is inside SRL, not my script :) Glad to hear it worked well for you though.

when i try to run it it says line32 error can any1 tell me how to fix it :)

I got the same error as he did and I don't know how to fix it.

Another fishing run this time when at work. Fished at B village this time. Left it from 3.30 pm - 9.00 pm. I had left it with 3 fly rods in inventory, got back and there where none :<

im tryign 2 power fish in lumby it logs me in and stuff but after a little fishing it freezes

After extensive use now i can sum up that this script is AMAZING. Dispite it not detecting wirlpools that appear when fishing it is brilliant. In 3 days i have gone from 48 to 75 fishing. I have used about 30 fly fishing rods and 18 k feathers.

wow, you serious? thats sweet as :D sorry about the fishing rods though =\ it has always worked for me, but i havent run this script for a while, so maybe they changed its colours? if someone can get me a bmp of a whirlpool, i would appreciate it greatly - then i can fix it up.

Dont worry i fixed it by setting the players to 6 not 1 i dont know why it happend thoe someone please help anyway for others who get the same prob

Crashed my Scar first time, but second time it ran without a hitch, thanks!

i have a new problem.. Whenever it reaches the auto colour it just stops before fishing at all. Happens almost everytime.

This script worked perfectly for me.
I just need to find an auto fish banker now, but I have to wait till I'm a junior member to find it I guess

While the actual fishing does work, the anti-randoms is VERY weak. The Whirlpool detection needs a bit of work as well. It is however, the best free script out here.

EDIT: Only thing I could probably say is to up the random support. Everytime a guard or troll appears, I tend to be on the verge of dying.

I love it, but I'm very new here, can someone tell me how to add an auto banking to it?
That'd be incredible.
I've tried a couple others that claimed auto banking, but they all sucked compared to this one.

this script got me from lvl 57 fishing to 66 fishing, nice.
only prob is that it only solves box randoms, and whirlpool detection is a bit off

Ill get a new .bmp of the wirlpool for you. And i think you should make it select the fishing icon when you get a lamp, if it is possible :>. I have stopped getting my fishing up now. Went from level 45 - 80 in 5 days. I love you and your work ^^ <3

works ok for about 30 seconds and then searches for equipment I have tried everything but I am going to play around with the scripts more and see if I can fix it with the little bit I learned about scripting in the tutorial section

nice script 1 problem though.
wen i 1st used it it just loged the account out and kept clicking on login the the username space.The 2nd time i used it it says

ehh..scratch that doesnt work at all:( it just logs me out and says 'no fishing equipment found player becoming false. i have it set to auto, and i have a net in my inventory but it still dont work.

I'm trying to power fish in barbarian village and when the spots move it just says it can't find them and doesn't go to the fishing symbols. Is there anyway to fix the problem?

when i run it, its going well .. then about 10 seconds into running, runescape freezes. then i stop the script and it unfreezes. any help please? :(

The last runtime error i got i fixed it with just time.Probably re-run the script or re-run SCAR.

I don't really know but it's gotta do something with the script and scar:P.

i did setting for net fishing…
it logs in it turns on and off some chats… then its going to fish spot but then
its doing nothing… min later it just auto-logout because of no movement…

tks for the script but i am having problems.

i'm using it in lumbridge to get shrimps and even though the fishing net is there, the script keeps trying to find it and fails. so it doesn't work for me.

Just one problem.
It drops the net I use to fish shrimps. :|

Ok im trying to run it with just one player while a watch tv

at first it was giving me line errors about the other players info so i just deleted them and then it compiled

now i got a new problem
im staying right next to the fishing spot and the script will log me in and then just sit there

sometimes the script will goto the logout button and log out for me

you have to make any players your not using green so it wont run them

hi, i would say extreamly nice script-BUT it is the only fisher i have ever used, i have been using it for about 5 hours in that time i have only got say 100k exp witch is pretty slow, its nice works well if u set the players up to 1 account, the only thing thats not to good is when the fishing spot moves it hardly ever finds it, im fishing in lumby

I think Jagex have updated the small fishing net, as the script says no fishing equipment found?

Its been a long time since i've used a small fishing net on low detail but the script doesn't work for me on auto or when I choose the net option. Its also been a long time since i've used scar. Im guessing that jagex updated the small fishing net and the SmallNetBmp are no longer accurate?

It keeps telling me I don't have my fishing equipment(net)
and sometimes i lose my equipment because if that one fish and it doesn't pick it up..
picking up equipment is part of your script isnt it? if not, don't mind my last comment… I just want to make it work so i could leave it on during the night..

the scipts starts, logsin.. bla bla.. finds a fishspot.. starts to fish.. then in the debug window it writes

Didnt find the equipment that we are using
Searching on ground for equipment
Equipment type is Small

and the rs window just stops to animate.. when i stop the script, animation comes back, but my char is already logedout ;[

the @auto@ feathure sounds pretty good :/

This script worked very well for me, used it for an hour and got a lvl up. ;) It solved a mysterius box with out a problem. I had not managed to read the whole sentese before it was ready :p
After that hour I got a Surprise Exam which it could not solve, so it logged out…
Is it possible to fix that in some way?

I believe that the script has weak anti-randoms.

Nope, its randoms are as good as SRL handles them. There are some randoms SRL cant solve, such as Exam. If it is failing talking randoms (old man, sandwhich lady etc) then you didnt set up your nickname correctly.

Sounds like you arent setting up your player name correctly. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this. :)

O.K now I am no expert but I suggest you check which scar you are using and if it is the appropriate type and if that does not work try downloading srl again using scar not the site if you had not already

Working this at the moment, I have a problem.

I am trying to fish lobsters on a level three, it catches three of them then logs me out it attempts to log in and doesn't type in my user or password, I have correctly filled the lines out.

When I first used it, it worked well, until i got teled to wizards tower.
Doesn't this have anti randoms:confused:

Okay, here's a problem with the script, and a solution for the problem.

The beginning of the script works fine, but just a few minutes into it, after it has already clicked once on the fishing spot, it clicks again. This is a problem, because RuneScape stops fishing lobsters after the second click, and that makes the time the account actually fishes, 40-50%, when the script could run near 97-100% percent every time it runs.

The solution, is simple.

Tweak the script so that when the account is already fishing, it clicks twice instead of once, so it stops fishing, and starts fishing again.

Hey guys, I'm gonna work on updating this.

Here's an updated version of this script, it still runs choppy and I'm gonna work on it more but it works.
For some reason it says that we are not fishing and keeps clicking, I'm gonna work on that to get it up and running, but it does fish.

I got the latest version of this script (page 22 of thread?) to compile successfully, so now I'm down to a run-time error:
SRL Compiled in 361 msec
[Runtime Error] : Out Of Range in line 64 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\Scripts\runescape\anyfish.scar

I started by setting this up for just one rs account (player). This line 64 is the first line for setting up the 2nd player:
Players[1].Name := 'xxxxxx';

If I modify to use two players, the error moves down to the 3rd player setup.

It almost behaves like it's setting up the array size in advance and then when it tries to put data in, say, the 3rd element of the array (Players[2].Name, or whatever), it's complaining that the array doesn't go up to 2 (only 0 or 1). I'll see if deleting the unused player definitions solves the problem.

OK, taking those extra sections out for unused player definitions worked. So, just remember that, if you're setting this up for 3 players (0, 1, 2), then you need to delete the references defining Players[3], Players[4], etc. or you'll get that out of bounds error.

Here are the problems I'm seeing now:
1) Whirlpool not getting detected and losing the rod, so bring extra equipment. Not that big of a deal, but something to investigate later.
2) After getting a full load of fish, I'm getting logged out. Not 100% sure if it's the slow computer I'm using or the script, but I'm pretty sure it's the script. It doesn't seem to matter how many loads I set it up to do. This is more serious, because it'll only run for 10-15 mins in that state (lvl 20-25 fly fishing) before you have to restart it. I'm looking into this next.

Just an FYI. As soon as I get this in a little better shape, I'll post my working script. I'm using SCAR 3.15 and the latest SRL (revision 15, posted earlier this month, April 2008).

Great script only problem is it had trouble finding the rod when it goes onto the ground.

Haven't gotten any really long runs (more than 10 or 15 loads) to work yet, but still diving into all the code. I've seen it successfully handle dwarfs, frog, evil chicken, mysterious box, and a few other randoms. With others (Molly, Freaky Forester) I see it just log out.

It clicks on username (fails to type), clicks on password (again, nothing shows up on screen), and then tries to log in with nothing entered and keeps retrying this over and over. Also, if I switch to the SCAR window while it's typing, the text gets entered. Not sure what the problem is. It should be getting the window focus just by clicking in the username area (or perhaps it's moving the mouse there and not actually clicking? – something to check).

No offence "SRL FORUMS", But go to www.sythe.org go to scar help go to scar 3.12 follow the download tutorial. And once that come back here copy the script. Then delete this

Yes, this did this to me. So i put the load limit to 1 [Cuz 40+ fishing wait take u longer then 1 min per load] And REMEMBER to put ur SCREEN ON BRIGHTEST. If this still continues, Post the problems and ill give u a few more solutions.

omg, i like this script, cos the fact i need a fisher, but..i get an error =\ what do i do if i only want one player, i changed the number from 6, to 1, but..theres 5 other lists that ask for account names and pass, and if i try to run while leaving them how it is, it says error at line 65, which is the start of the second account info, im wondering if i need to erase the other lines, for the other accounts, or what do i do? >.<

I was kinda freakin out thinking that someone got on my account, but nothing was taken out of my bank so idk.

Ok I downloaded the second script and it works, only problem is that it logs me out because ot clicks on a fishing spot and it just waits…and since it doesn't click it logs me out due to inactiveness.

Did you just download SCAR? Because mabye then you might need the new SRL…

Otherwise it might be the new SRL that's been released (too new for the script :p ). Or it's something totally different.
If it's not one of the above then mabye you should try to reinstall Scar + SRL

Yeah, I've noticed some of the randoms don't work that great, namely the frogs. It also has trouble clicking on the Click Here to Continue when you level. Great job though, seems to work fine otherwise.

I guess that this script is outdated, or most of the solutions are in these 30 thread pages, still I updated all the bitmaps for needed fishing items and fishing places and it runs fairly smooth, still some hick ups and hangups but I guess thats because of my poor editing quality :rolleyes:

look in the tutorial island section and you will find a section telling you how to get srl

I suggest you read some tuts to gain some idea of how srl and scar works, th error is something to do with
ActivateClient;

Ok, i'm not getting any errors or anything, but for some reason its not doing anything, I targeted runescape and started the script and it just didn't do anything. I got this message

aelin i know that u are from rsbot if i was you i would get jr members or read a few tuts you should pick up scar pretty easy and appl for members to see more scripts

Im pretty sure this script is OUTDATED. if unsure ask the maker of this script also i had same problem with no finding of the fishing spots, if this script IS outdated then check out phoenix13nl's fisher.

nice, I gained like 38 levels off of this script

i filled out all the lines and it works fine up until it trys to recognize the fishing spot. it tries 10 times and logs out

If The Claw decides to update it, it will be opened again at that time.
