I was just wondering if it was a good idea to have our chars to talk to eachother in the clan chat? if so i would make a clan chat responder. tell me what you people think.

I think it's a good idea. Here's the discussion I started for clan chat between multiple people, not just our own chars. http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15409

But think about it. Jagex Programmers are on our site all the time. They have systems that they somehow adapt to us(whether automatic or human controlled)(consider the shifting in the Minimap, the change of colors, etc). If the Jagex members are in fact running scripts or even looking at them, chances are they will find this chat. They will probably Flag everyone in chat so it wont matter if other people are in chat. The wont get banned, we will be flagged and more likely to be banned.

Also, your not thinking of the skill it would take. It would take PHP and/or HTTP scripting as well as excellent SCAR scripters to pull this off. One person who made the chat would have to almost always be on(I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Probably am :P). You would also have to Send the players name to a website that holds these names so the system would know which people they could actually talk to without being reported. It would also take a highly advanced system to make a main chatter/chat owner everychat and when that user logged out, another chat was assigned. Chat conversations would have to be formed. Chats to Real people would have to be formed and undetectable to get them into the chat. The bots would have to respond to them at least some of the time. And the possibility of Jagex finding that/those chats are very high once they catch on.

In Short : You are massing the macro-ers in a sense just like the Yew Trees and RSDemon. It will soon be like that, mods can walk right through any Lumbridge free world and ban every macro-er there. DONT MASS THE MACRO-ERS IN YOUR ATTEMPT TO BE MORE SECRET!!

ChatBase starts out, as all things do, as an idea. What if our Players would be able to private chat with each other during their sessions? Would it stop the ban? It would certainly lower suspicion because it is unimaginable for a bot to have a coherent chat with another bot.
The idea was laid out on the inside forum and soon sprouted the idea of a sql databse sending querys to clients. After all scar has sufficient Internet Functions to enable communiciation to and from a central server. This would mean the production of large amounts of chats stored in a central database.

This is where we stand today. I have build a lil' SQL/PHP script/database enabling the participants to add to the base.

What will still be needed?

A professionally shaped database with all chat.
The breakout from Scar to the database. Mopar is working on that.

You forget who we have on our team :D

And I can easily argue that everyone on the chat will NOT be banned because they simply won't get flagged in the first place :) No bot talks to other bots. Haha ok maybe thats pushing it…. still, I think its feasible.

Yes we have Fakawi and the rest of the SRL team. Yet Fakawi is not talking about a gathering of bots into a channel. He is simply talking of bots communitcating to each other through private chat. Jagex employees have easy access to r-s considering they own it and they have more tools than you would think. They can easily trace a "central chat database" of bots if they know where to look. However, if the database was placed in SQL, and the bots weren't massed together, only a array of two bots conversing, this would be much more unlikely because Jagex cannot break into that database (that i know of legally ;)) and collect the names of the auto-ers. Therefore "it is not on their turf" or "they do not hold all the cards". Also, formatting conversations between two bots would be much easier than an array of bots not to mention human beings.

The Defense Rests ;)

Think about it, it's not like we have to all join the same chat… Just find a few buddies and set up a 'clan' semi-relevant to whatever you're doing, like a crafting clan to cow-hide collectors, etc.

All we really need is the script and some messages, which can probably be stolen from A.L.I.C.E. or something ;)

Yeah it could just be a few friends, the thing is you have to find someone who autos while you do.

I don't really know how RC master works, but I assume it would be something similar, except instead of commands it would be phrases in the chat.

RC is just Remote Control: you can ask your players who is false, turn em all true or stop the script.
