Silly Antiban Idea!

Have an SRL community clan chat and then just have all our armies conversing with each other randomly, since a macroer wouldn't ever use clan chat :D Just an idea.

come with some code please:)

and this would be confusing since you would need to create hundreds of random conversations =S

Welcome to SRL members tim!
This would be a semi good idea. Why it is bad: Jagex ban everyone in that chat! :o
Good: semi-anti ban.
I would not like/use this idea :\

Yeah i posted this as a spur-of-the moment kinda thing.
@hugo yeah you're right, youd have to add a lot of people for every account. Maybe I'll make a script that adds friends from a list of people PLUS the script to do random chat with people on your friends list. :p
@hy thanks! And yeah you're right, probably isn't the most practical, but I don't think Jagex is that smart, and if it's SRL most of them wouldn;t be getting banned.

why would jagex ban everyone in that chat? the whole point that tim is trying to make is it is good for ANTIBAN so how could Jagex ban you…
and welcome Tim

Thank you hugo! I think it's an interesting idea, but adding 100 people to your friends list doesn't sound appealing..

its actually not possible i believe, there is a max on the amount of people in your friendlist…

yer but we don't need to reach that max and the max was 200 last time I checked I think.

100 for non members i think maybe?

Jagex might get suspicious of 100 players in your friend chat. TIM was talking about clan chat.

How is having lots of friends in any way suspicious? Robots= No friends. humans= Lots of friends. And I've never actually used the clan chat system, I just assumed it was the same as friend chat, only with just clan members in it. I'll look into it.
And it is 100 max for f2p.
But even if it was just like 2 or 3 people, that still makes you look less suspicious. However it'd have to be a 2 or 3 people you know are going to be autoing while you are, hence why I said it would be better to put lots of friends on, so there's a higher chance of someone's army being on while yours is.

Is this basically chatbase?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/chatbase/Because I found this:
"10-22-2006
ChatBase starts out, as all things do, as an idea. What if our Players would be able to private chat with each other during their sessions? Would it stop the ban? It would certainly lower suspicion because it is unimaginable for a bot to have a coherent chat with another bot.
The idea was laid out on the inside forum and soon sprouted the idea of a sql databse sending querys to clients. After all scar has sufficient Internet Functions to enable communiciation to and from a central server. This would mean the production of large amounts of chats stored in a central database.
This is where we stand today. I have build a lil' SQL/PHP script/database enabling the participants to add to the base.
What will still be needed?
A professionally shaped database with all chat.
The breakout from Scar to the database. Mopar is working on that.

A long time ago.. before SRL i beleive someone had the idea of partner scripts. It was mainly for people with 2 computers, but if it was 2 diferent people you could get it to work. Basically they had very simple convorstions.. and one of them was the starter and the other was the responder. the starter randomly called one of the sentences or questions and then the responder answered the question/statement with like one of 5 answers.
I think this would be hard because of failing scripts.. but you could have something like if not usernameloggedin(theirname) then endchat;
Also with your idea we could make privite pods.. like groups of 10-20… becasue if you added 100 friends in 1 day it would be suspicious.. people only get like a max of 10 real friends a day if they are lucky haha.

I didnt get time to read the whole page but keep in mind, you need an account to make + add to the chat and if you put that account's name into a script, Jagex will find it. They do flag accounts to figure out patterns in macro-ing. Therefore they will
1. ban the account and all accounts from the ip of the chat channel's leader.
2. Probably Flag/Ban every person in the chat since no other person would have any business going into that chat.
3.It would probably be detectable in some shape, form or fashion.
You have to remember Jagex is among us, no doubt. And there are, in my opinion probably about 20-40 of them. Some of their programmers will find this in the scripts or SRL Manual, whatever and figure out a way to exploit it.

It's certainly an interesting idea. However, I agree that it's impractical. It's far too easy for everything to go horribly wrong.

i love the idea. true clan chat would be horribly hard to make bullet proof. BUT we can make a general script for people talking to 1 / 2 friends.
somebody makes the general scripts and then people put in it what they want to say and what answers they want to receive.
then to make it sound human it's very easy, jsut imagine a conversation with someone and type it out.
just imagine talking to your best friend and talk about deep stuff/ stuff that require thinking a lot. jagex will start to think they made people become great friends inside runescape :p :)

Well, we could have your friends list full of people, but they would have to act like they didn't know each-other.
But that include would have lots and lots of case statements.

Yeah, well these have been some interesting points. I'm gonna think about it some more :) Maybe think of a way to make it a little less detectable.

Well people seem to be concerned that everyone they are chatting with will get banned. Personally I think if you are autoing correctly you won't get banned, so to use this and have it actually decrease your chances of being banned further, you have to be autoing correctly in the first place. I've been away, but I'm going to try and make some functions for this when I get time, just to see how people like it, since this post has gotten lots of feedback.

I think it's a great idea, except that they could track other bots. So max 10.
Like all but a couple in your own army, then a few, but not a lot, in someone else's army.
I currently don't have an army or I would be glad to script it up.
(I am buying a CRT monitor so I can run my main on one computer, and some simple skillers on another computer)

If you do, send me a pm. I'll help you with some of it(if you want ;)). It would be very hard and you may run into some things you don't think you are going to. Still if it's going to be made, it should be with care.

Possibly have a person run a "main" bot, who goes through a list of phrases, with other bots in the clan answering here-and-there, to give a better effect?

i think you should just find some friends or someone here who is autoing at the same time, and make the script only talk to that one/ two persons. that way it wont always be the same people talking to each other
