Directions:


- Download the OCR folder below.
- Extract the "font folder" to your Fonts folder, & the plugin to your "plugins" folder.
- Note, both should be located in C:/Simba/
- Start with Knife in bottom right inventory slot.
- Brightness on high.
- Have Game chat turned on.
- Fill out script setup

Haha true, fixed that :P

Another bug I stumbled across, the script will withdraw logs from the bank into the inventory but it can't seem to exit out of the bank screen.

EDIT: This happens when you have tabs enabled, disable the bank tabs and the script will work perfectly.

Well it wasn't doing it for that long as it has a failsafe after 5 or 10 mins and it logs out. I will definitely fix that bug when I get home!

EDIT: Just thought realized why it was doing that and I can fix it, but I could use an account to test if you would let me.
EDIT2: Published the update, script will auto update to latest version!

EDIT: When I start v1.1 of the script, it launches and then says:

Compiled successfully in 796 ms.
All bows made! Logging out
Successfully executed.

The script won't launch past that.

Anyone else having that problem?

The script would have to withdraw 14 unstrung bows and 14 bow strings and then click either a bow or a string and use it on the other, you then have a make all option.

Bank and repeat until done.

you should change your script logic. if done correctly you only have to write your code once but it can do bot cutting and stringing.

Another bug I found. The script sometimes has trouble finding the bank and stops, this can happen anywhere from 30 minutes of script launch to 5 hours in. After the script can't find the bank, it stops and you have to restart it.

Good luck Elfy. Too bad for you you've got competition. Getting back to updating my fletcher again :)

Well are you using yew logs first off? Are your logs in your top left bank slot and bows in the slot to the right of it? If you answered no to any of those questions I suggest you re read the directions.

Well that's the only way that it would show that it failed, So not sure what your doing. Brightness set high? Post a pic of your bank maybe

It's usually really helpful to read the instructions or what I told you. Have the BOWS in the slot to the right of your logs…

This script work really great done 638 yew logs into (u) per 30minute Il try myself make a string script thanks alot :D

Also there's a problem with making magic longs. I think with all the other logs there 3 options ( the third one is a crossbow stock ) so when its making magic longs it sometimes makes shorts by mistake.
Also the logs left doesn't seem to count down for me, only a minor issue for me.

Whats New: Improved antiban greatly, improved banking and efficiency, added stringing to bows option

Make sure to read the setup so you have it setup correctly. Next update will probably be more locations, make sure to post proggies and any feedback/suggestions!

Also, this strings the bows while fletching them into unstrung. So it will cut the logs and put the strings on in the same inventory.

Ohhhh I'm loving this update, the script runs so much faster and the fletching seems more smooth. I'll be posting a proggy soon. 94 Fletching on a fresh account since I've started using this script.

Whats New: Added a few more failsafes. Following banks now supported:
'lumby', 'varrock west', 'camelot', 'varrock east', 'catherby', 'castle wars'

Make sure to test out as I didn't have much time to test each location! Varrocks are the most stable I would assume. Also PLEASE post all of your best proggies!!!

I forgot to capture the proggy but i ran for 9 hours flawlessly. Time to test v 1.4.

Wow… Really suprised about how poor of an attitude you have. So just to clarify for people who might be reading this.

He added me a few days ago with the bank setup error. His bank was obviously not set up correctly, hence the error, which I went on his account and moved the items and it worked. He let me use his account again to add stringing to the script, which I did. Then yesterday while I was in class all day, was blowing me up on skype complaining that it wouldn't make magic longs, as the options are different. I ofc couldn't reply until I got home and he was quite upset that I didn't reply and that it was very disrespectful. Today he messaged me asking if I could explain myself about yesterday, to which I replied that I'm not forced to reply to anyone, especially if all they do is complain even when I help them. To which he called me a ***hole, so I blocked him…

So please don't comment back on this thread as you have already "helped" enough. Also, you claim that it doesn't work for you. I guess your forgetting the multiple hour long runs that you had…. Good thing it doesn't work for you and getting you to almost 90 fletching.

Great script, cant run because bank perm are wrong. if clicks first slot and its of by couple pixels and cant see the uptext. same thing with close bank.

You should fix stringing option, actualy it's not working as you can see in pic.

Working well, just a note, you should put in your first post for everyone to have collapsed tabs and tabs hidden from the settings in the bank, otherwise the bot won't find the items or close button :)

Every 'error' you keep posting is a setup error. Knife in bottom right inventory slot, bank tabs disabled, put your logs, bows, and strings in the slots that you select(0, 1, 2 by default). If you don't do that, it will not run. So this will be the last time I reply to a setup issue.

Also, feel free to post progress reports

Oh… I'm sorry… It was difficult to understand how the system works.

That's how your inventory should look like.

1. Makes unstrung bows.
2. Starts to string your bows (always leaves 1 bow string in your inv).

P.S. English isn't my native language, so please excuse any mistakes.

I wish I would've realized sooner that it strings them as it cuts them for what ever reason I had understood it that it only stung them instead of doing both at once, my fault! Great script though, has taken me from 50-80 fletch so far!

Definitely not the problem, as it would have no effect on that. You don't have your logs in the top left inventory slot it appears… It looks to be in slot 1. If not, then I assume you changed brightness or something.

isnt the setup just in bank and knife in inventory at bottom right? I mean the script is working for me now no problem there was a typo in the setup thats all

btw when fletching magics it clicks when making the bow in the middle of the interface when theres only two options for magics (either left or right) just a little thing

works great but when lvl up it doesn't start fletch agen it just stands there a bit and open bank and start agen.

I hate to be the person posting another setup error (after you said you won't respond anymore) but i've been trying to set it up for the better part of an hour and I can't seem to figure it out. If you could just take look real quick I would be grateful.

The error seems to occur after scrolling over the Logs and upon reaching the longbow (u) in bank.

I need help;
I set up all my items correctly - Logslot 0, bowslot 2 and stringslot 3 + knife bottom right of inventory. ALL BANK TABS OFF .
Clicked play , the 'Capture(red dot)' goes on the logs, –> bows then goes on strings and nothing happens? .
I get message saying "Setup of script failed, double check bank slot info" .

Top left is 0, then gets higher to the right. you're not understanding, Your bows need to be in slot 1, strings in slot 2..

Okay, I tried putting my bows in slot 1, I'm not stringing them so should I also have bowstrings anyway?
Here is what it looks like atm


Doing willow longbows (u) manually at the moment, not stringing anything.

Reached 55 Fletching, tried switching Maple Logs to slot 0, still "doesn't detect" the logs. Could it be an issue with the font? Maybe that OCR stuff broke?

Have i dont something wrong? My Magic logs are in slot 0, magic long (u) in slot 1 and bow strings are in slot 2.

Script seems to start up well, though I do have bank tabs and it will be troublesome to cancel them just for that(Need to drag each item back and forth afterwards right?).
Can you direct me to the place(number I assume) the script clicks on the client for the log,bow and string?

cant even close bank…it always clicks under
EDIT: Fixed u need to press setting and press hide tabs.

I don't think stringing is working. Making unfinished bows work but I'm following the proper setup for stringing and it doesn't appear to work.

For people who are struggling to use this script and do want a working Fletching script, there was one released in the "First Scripts" thread by Annonymus - https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110328 a while back.

This does work for all logs apart from Yews and Magics however you can add support for these logs yourself by creating a few bitmaps which is very easy to do if you have a quick read of Cycrosism's guide here https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47374. Sorry if this is inappropriate to post here however I hope it will stop so many questions asking how to fix this script and instead encourage others to learn a little themselves :)

The script only works with cutting logs ATM but stringing doesnt work at all regardless of how you set it up in your bank.

Mind swinging over the 24bit bitmap data for yew long stringing?

That Bitmap didn't work for me, so I had to make another 0.0 but um.. Would you happen to know why the script withdraws the supplies, but when it left clicks "use" on the bowstring, it just sits there and never uses it on the unstrung yews?

I would assume its not finding the unstrung yews once they're within the inventory due to the bitmap you've created. This would happen if you included any of the background in your bitmap as the background colour/texture in the inventory is different to that of the bank.

I didnt use this script to train my fletching, I used Annonymous' script which worked flawlessly for me all the way to 99. Was more so a suggestion to take a look at that if he's struggling to get this script to run.

Mine was very buggy and had very little antiban, so I'm glad it worked well for you, but I'm afraid it won't work as well for everyone. Therefore I'm making a whole rewrite of it as we speak. :p

Thanks :D I've used the base of your script to work for other skills such as using the stringing function for making potions and cutting function for crushing materials if needed as I suck at creating scripts from scratch, cant wait to see the improved version you mentioned on the fletching post!

which post? i tried to run it but it doesn't detect any items within the first 48 bank slots? but it's obviously in the first line of my bank..

Someone can help me to config the Magic longbow coordenades? I dont know how to script, its using the same coordenates as the other type of logs, so some times craft shortbow instead of longs.

Doesn't really work that well at the moment. It makes shortbows instead of longbows way too often (the click box is too big). I would also really like to see an update where you didn't need to have bank tabs off. I had to collapse all tabs in order to get this working and sorting them back again is a pain in the ass.

Find the line where Boxes is assigned and change it to:

Boxes := Grid(8, 6, 32, 32, 48, 36, Point(88,100));

That should work with bank tabs.

I've been trying to change the bank values so that it will close but i can't seem to get it to work. Would you be able to post your values?

Probably, just put it back to regular and it will work. The clicking works off points so i dont think it will find the logs and the bowstring.

The annonymous script linked a few pages ago and found in the first scripts section of the forums still works fine after the new update. I posted an edited version in the thread that gets the yew longbows to work, but other than that it works fine.
