SMART 8.3 - Simba scripts stop as soon as RS client loads

So I've recently re-installed Simba along with SMART 8.3 following Hoodz recent installation guide, and now everytime I can successfully compile a script, it opens the SMART client, but the script stops once RS has finished loading. Any ideas on why this might be happening? It says the script(s) has successfully compiled.

Did you follow step 3?

can you post the script and the debug? I'm smart but I'm no psychic.

Sorry I should have posted that… I'm trying to run this: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106410

I had set the interpreter to pascal when I installed, but I was told to switch to Lape for this script. I get this error when it's set on Pascal:
[Error] (44:22): Semicolon (';') expected at line 44
Compiling failed.

Line 42 to 44:
// Core
sdReason : String = 'Player inactive';
shutdown : Boolean = False;

..and when I'm using Lape the script stops once the login screen appears.

(This is what I get when I try to start the script with SMART already opened)
SRL Compiled in 0 msec
Attempting to pair to a smart client..
Found 1 free client(s), attempting to pair to one...
Set SMART[4884] as Simba's target
Succesfully paired to a existing client, SMART[4884]
Succesfully freed SMART[4884]
Successfully executed.

This is what I get when I start the script without SMART opened:
SRL Compiled in 0 msec
Attempting to pair to a smart client..
No free clients to pair to
Failed to pair to any smart previously spawned smart clients
Attempting to spawn a client
Grabbing your best world...
Succesfully spawned a client, attempting to target...
Set SMART[35444] as Simba's target
Succesfully freed SMART[35444]
Successfully executed.

If you're using my custom SRL-OSR (as I clearly stated as a requirement in that thread) then you wouldn't have those compile errors. So simply rename your current SRL-OSR (the one you downloaded from Github) to something else for the time being, download my SRL-OSR, follow the installation instructions, set your Simba interpreter to Lape, and try again.

Eventually AeroLib will be released and there will no longer be any confusion between the two SRL-OSR's and you will only need one library to include. I'm working on this actively right now.

Thank you very much Flight. It's working now - I really appreciate it. I'll make sure to closely follow all instructions from now on. I'll also post a proggy on your thread sometime tomorrow. :)

Sounds good, I'll keep an eye out for it. If you have issues with it be sure to let me know. I have a revision already made for AgileApe that might fix bugs, if they exist.
