If someone has something as an attempt, that shows they tried, I am going to put a yes vote in. If you try and get all "NO" you kind of loose heart for a while. I agree that the people that have one post, and say something like "Uber scripz in the workz" applications should never have any yes votes…
While I do agree with that about people with 1 post, there are still other scripts that might only be using simple object finding methods and not TPAs and advanced functions. I still think those people can have yes votes even if it's a troll vote that is like 11-1 and obviously a loss. The encouragement you get from a yes, even though it may be anonymous, is huge. Like I said before it would have been a long time before I applied again were it not for those 2 votes- which may or may not have been trolls.
Edit:
Aphotix - 89 posts
Cage- 58
Dexta - 2
The 1 poster thing is sort of irrelevant here. While they only have a small number of posts collectively, it's great to see they are scripting. In fact, I'm proud of them scripting. From time to time I consider getting demembered to get motivation to script again, because as it stands I only script when there is nothing else to do. Scripting used to be so awesome and all I wanted to do was impress you guys, and now that I'm here, all we are doing is talking down against those who are scripting while none of us have anything to show for quite a span of time.
Sure, the SRL member rank is more of a community rank, but don't you see that this is what the community has become?
