I am working on a Fire RC'er from the duel arena and the default sps map isnt working for the duel arena area (for me at least), so now I am attempting to make a Custom SPS map.

My current problem is that the path works maybe once then for some reason if i run it again it goes the complete opposite way.

Things I've tried:Redoing Paths over and over, inverting paths, Redoing sps map, using getmyLoc with customsps loaded and it works but spswalkpath doesnt go to the correct points for w/e reason and starts running off, using the Runescape_surface07 to get the customSPSmap and getting the CustomSPSmap manually using http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=84360

update:
Now im trying to figure out how to get 2 custom maps to work. For example, I am using a custom map to walk to and from the Ruins but i also want to use a custom map to walk while inside the altar. trying to mess with
if map = 1 then
begin
SPS_Setup(RUNESCAPE_SURFACE, ['FireAltarMap'])
map:=2;
writeln('Map = '+ inttostr(map));
end;

I am looking to get the most reliable walking for this. if SPS is not it then let me know. I have tried some radialwalk and tpawalking but im not that good at those.

If anyone wants to help, pls Post here or pm me and maybe we can get something working over skype
I am really into scripting and would love live help!

If there is any information about the script you need to help me more just ask.

Try my SPS blindwalk tutorial, it should work if your map is well made. (and it seems well made from the thumbnail :P)

Looking into BlindWalk now. Thanks ;p

Also, is it possible to use more then one Custom SPS map… or does it only load one at a time? or do i just have to do
if map = 2 then
begin
SPS_Setup(RUNESCAPE_SURFACE, ['FireAltarMap'])
map:=1;
writeln('Map = '+ inttostr(map));
end;
to switch between custom maps

I think each new sps_setup resets what you have loaded, you should check the code of the function to see what it actaulyl does.

Ok. But for some reason when it returns mypos it will be way off sometimes and start runnning off course completely with just walkpath, before the blindwalk, ant then the blind walk takes me further off.. I dont get why the Coords go haywire Randomly. Meaing it will work for 1 trip then next trip it returns myLoc as -1,-1

SPS doesn't work very well on OSRS because the minimap shifts a lot on it's own. For SPS to work your minimap has to be true north which is hard to get on OSRS.

Make a bigger map, or manually merge the default maps you have to create one map for your path.

NOPE…

I use AnyAngle and it still doesn't work 50% of the time, but maybe it's just my map.

Happens to me too, then I gave up on SPS.

*sigh* any angle still needs the compass to work, all it does is rotate the minimap image so its facing north, and then use that to work out your postion. if the compass angle is not aligned to the map it will be even worse than just having compass at north.

I don't get you guys, I have ran laws using SPS for 20+ hours and it worked even if I screwed up the map angle myself (randomly rotating before running). You are either using too small maps or too large ones- with small maps, when SPS expects to see the black in your map in the MM, and in the large maps it gets confused if there are similar areas.

Do u u change SPS settings?
Tolerance, matchpercent, accuracy etc..
And you're using the version from SeanStar, or modifiefd?

Also share your LawRuneCrafter ty ( could alway try ;) )

I changed nothing except for custom made maps (merging given maps manually). I used the one that said "TESTERS NEEDED" on the title.

And… not sharing :) I haven't logged into OSRS since the prices plummeted, and you had to do the trading manually in my script, so it wasn't all that great, just useful when watching Breaking Bad.

Thanks for sharing ! It must be this quote from you: and in the large maps it gets confused if there are similar areas.
Should be the problem :)
