SRL Archive - OSR Help

So, when I first setup Simba, I immediately setup the 07Include by Danny. However, when I went to restart my script that had crashed, for some reason, it now opens regular Runescape again instead of Old School. I went into SmartPARAMS and noticed it reverted my oldschool link to the standard runescape link, so I changed it back to oldschool33.runescape.com/j1 or whatever, and yet it still doesn't work. Any ideas what happened?

You're going to have to download the 07 Smartparams and login.simba again. The reason this occured was because SRL automatically updated, and replaced those files.

Oh i see..I had a feeling that that's what happened $%_%

You might want to turn off AutoUpdating and then update only if there is an important change

How can I turn off AutoUpdating? And thank you much guys!

EDIT: After redownloading login and SmartParams, i receive this error when attempting to run the client:

** Smart Cannot Spawn Clients **
Successfully executed.
The following bitmaps were not freed: [0, 1, 2]

I actually wouldn't reccomend that.. what I'd do is keep a copy of smartparams and login on your computer and if/when SRL updates just replace those w/o having to look around the forums to download them

Okay, I'll do that. Thanks, man. However, now I receive this error:

I believe that's just a simba error that occurs randomly, but restarting Simba doesn't seem to fix this error. Any idea?

Do you have SMART 8 and have you defined smart8 at the top of the script?

Nah, I have SMART v7.2, and the script defines SMART v7.2, not SMART8. Should I just update to SMART8? If so, could you link me to a SMART8 setup guide? All I've found is the "unOfficial old school setup guide" which walks you through SMART 7.2 setup, not 8.

Yea, you should. Google YOHOJO, find his youtube channel, should be super easy, click on all uploads, and he has a video with links to threads for downloads for getting SMART8. From now on just define SMART8 on the top of your scripts

My SmartParams seems to be reverting whenever I close SMART and I have to revert it every time.
