[100M+]Regular Member Competition!
@Hello all, get your scripting caps on, because this one's about to be a doozy! This contest is open to all Junior Members and Regular/Registered Members. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to write a script for the newly released 07Scape. Your script must follow certain guidelines for it to be accepted into the competition.Prize:10M:

You also get a well respected cup:
Your acceptance into Members' rank goes much smoother if you've participated in the competition also.
Script Guidelines: These will be released on the 1st of April, where as submissions are due by the 21st. This means you have roughly 3 weeks to complete your script, and submit it for judging.
Right now, we're unsure whether to write the script for 07, or for F2P EOC. Will update you soon!
The script MUST be for F2P EOC. If submissions are for the Members game, they will NOT be accepted! You will be marked upon these categories:
1-100 on required tasks
It does what it needs to do
1-100 on stability / efficiency
It runs for long periods of time, and does what it has to do the best way possible.
1-100 on creativity
It has something that I did not ask for, extra features etc. etc.
Your task, is to create a Dungeoneering script. Nah just kidding.
Your script must incorporate two of these four categories:
Combat
Skilling
Money Making
Utilities
For Skilling, the more skills it uses, the higher your script will be regarded.
Keep in mind that Combat usually money makes + skills all at the same time ;)
Your script should use complex object finding such as TPAs, ATPAs, etc. Using FindObjCustom just won't cut it!
You're allowed to get help from other people, but having them write the script for you is disqualifiable!
We want to see ingenuity, make the script rely on it's own functions, rather than the Includes! (Meaning not using the include and rewriting functions for yourself is a plus)
Submissions are due on the 21st of April, meaning 3 weeks from the day these guidelines go up.

In short, I would judge based on code efficiency, code format and how advanced it is.
- Code efficieny:

Small things like that matter to me :P That basicly also concludes code format.
And then "How advanced it is" based on methods used such as TPA, ATPA, perhaps combining methods like FindSymbols and RadialWalk like I did once. It worked out pretty well, while it was finding certain symbols it needed to walk north. SPS wasn't a great option because of all the players/npcs/symbols that can result in a wrong position.

If whoever you get to judge it is okay with it, I'd say do both, or just F2P if you only pick one. Having it be 07 limits who can participate.

EOC is probably more stable because the minimap in 07 is very offset sometimes, and the minimap colors have a huge tolerance. Also the EOC include is probably bigger than the 07 one, so there is more pre-made stuff.
So I'd say EOC is easier.
If you don't get Jrs by the end of the day, shoot Hobbit

You're not supposed to use a script you had in the past, although I suppose if you never released it the judges would have no way of knowing that you didn't make it just for the competition.

I have no real desire to play or script for eoc. Dont think this of me badly but I returned to runescape because of 07..
E: And it quite probably will be some form of combat script that wins this because of the obvious difficulty to write a good one, I haven't played eoc combat(yes that is a tautology) so I doubt I can master combat and write a bot for it successfully within the given timeframe.

I'm slightly concerned with the fact it is EoC. I know absolutly nothing about the new runescape as I was one of those people who quit when GE came out back in 07 and only returned for 07 scape. I have no clue what is f2p anymore so does anyone have a suggestion as to something sort of difficult to do?
You give extra points to people NOT using the include? that's just dumb imo. You want people to use the include to their advantage and its potential, not to see the first 1000 lines of a script doing the same as the srl include.

Yeah. Mainly because they are all pro's and know much more than every junior. Lolz. But you can eventually get to their level. I am trying. Lol.
It takes time and work tho.. Thats why I need requests. Lolz.

The next couple of weeks are finals for university's around the states, probably in many other places. As people are saying. It would be great if you guys would hold another competition in a month or so. I wouldn't mind having an entrance fee to build the pot either, honestly would be in it for the cup though. I wish I would have joined earlier, and saw this sooner!

I'm on the backup list but I can judge, got four days off uni now so I got some time. Been extremely busy last few weeks. Exam week then start of 4th semester, on holiday, and now 3 days uni but enough classes for 5 days in them -.- But now I'll have some spare time for 4 days :)

Sorry for the delay! After alot of collaboration and IRC discussion (not really :s) the judges have come to a conclusion that @Joseph D's Happy Al-Kharid has won the SRL Regular Member Competition! @StickToTheScript was also an honorable mention!
Joseph, I'll try and arrange the money together (from @Justin, @Sjoe, @[XoL] and myself, but knowing midterm week, it might take a while.
