Needless to say I feel like more of a member now that my accounts items have been stolen. Seems I was not the first nor will I be the last to leave the account info in the script lol.

Not to worried about it, though the account was my main I lost about 2mil in oldschool runescape…the biggest loss being my full black/red mystic set seeing as I obtained what is believed to be the first/second black mystic chest drop in the game :(.

Anyway it was my first script and it seems like most of us did it at one time or another. Thought I was being careful, but it was that late at night trying to fix a stupid bug you just ran across after you just posted and update, so i fixed it and CTRL+S'ed that S.O.B…took about 5 min to realize what I did and it was already to late :duh:

I think the second biggest loss is that account was going to Ashaman88 later since he was stuck in a Maze random.

I suppose it's time to…bot some more? Try to get enough gold to start fletching again lol…

If you got the persons IP, post it so a mod can check villavu logs,

Unlucky :(

Pretty sure it's too late, i'm not sure how I would go about checking for an IP anyway?
I thought I read somewhere about something being in your includes/srl/logs, but that folder is empty un-fortunately.

My include doesn't take screens when it logs you in unfortunately :(

If u didn't save the IP from lobby, theres no way to get it :/

I think it's becoming an unwritten rule that you've not truly experienced RuneScape player until you've lost all your items to some scumbag :/

Happens to lots of people. What I do is, I save a separate version of the script to upload, and keep my info in my WIP one.
You could also make the script refer to some text file to get your info.

If you got the IP address it could be matched to an SRL account.

Well I do not have much as I will be using almost all my gp to buy a membership tomorrow so I have nothing much to donate. Sorry for your loss mate and hopefully something good comes out of the situation and you make it all back and then some. Happy to see you arent to beat up over it and have moved on.

Unfortunately I was on OSR which because DannyRS released the Un-offical 07 include…it didn't log anything :/
It ultimately is DannyRS's fault for my account being stolen? I know it sure wasn't mine ;)

Pretty sure it is your fault for leaving your name in the script!

i've done that I was lucky and found the error before anyone viewed the thread lols did the same thing in a PM lols and caught the error lols now after pasting a script I always hit CTRL+F and type in my account info sorry to hear I got about 300k and some armour and maybe a whip or something in my bank I can give u to help u build back up. There I used a period lawls but i dont think it should be blamed on danny he does make pretty good scripts and I know bugs are annoying especally when you can't squash them. Oh and it'll be a bit but I'm having avast do a full system scan on my computer I'm afraid I have a RAT running around in my computer like I do in my kitchen cuz of

 soulsplit 

Yeah. It sucks. I had my stuff stolen from my when I posted my very first script. Now, when i make a script i add the following to the end, "Practice (Saved Password) " on, because the file name is really long and i remember to remove it and save a new one after!

But, yeah. Crap happens.

I remember i checked 10 times on my last script update i posted, mainly because i didnt trust myself. Lol.

I was just teasing Danny lol, I bother him about my coding problems and without his help I would be even more nooby.

I will obviously take w/e donations you wanted to give, however it is not needed…i'll eventually get going again. Biggest issue is since I lost about 2k yew logs and strings, which were being tested for my script.

omg it keeps deleting my pst in when I pst it wont show on my page even if I refresh it but I dont play oldschool the community gave me about 8 mil and alot of skill ups so i dont mind spreading the wealth if i have the extra to do it

Cool, but I once added my Iron powerminer and I left my noob accounts name and pass in the script for like… 1-2 days before I noticed nobody ever got on it

There has been quite a few occasions where this has happened - the pressure or rush to get fixes to scripts out I guess. Is it feasible to have an RS account run by someone who we can donate some RSG or items to, sort of like a central fund for people who lose stuff in cases like this? I'm sure we could all donate a few mill and it would soon add up.

Sorry for the loss :/ Yeah scumbags who use your script and also steal from you -.-… If you have the IP feel free to send it to any admin/mod and they will cross reference it for you
