So, for some reason when I run the same script I get different cpu usage under the same circumstances.
When I log on to my computer and run a script it will sometimes be around 50%, then at other times 95% steadily……….this is heating up my cpu a lot.
Anyone know why?
All I have is the scrip running and other Windows background programs
*The Cpu handle on smart does not seem to do much.
*It is the same script

What version of Windows do you have? Vista is notorious for that type of issue. Different scripts will also use different amounts of your CPU based on how computation intensive they are. Do you have an integrated graphics card, or a separate unit (I don't honestly know if SMART affects that issue, but it can't hurt to know I suppose)?

I am using 7, 32bit. It is the same script. I have an integrated graphics card.

An integrated graphics card will put more computation power on your CPU instead of your GPU, so perhaps the 'Disable Graphics' on SMART should help a lot?
What script are you using?

I think I'm probably wrong. The CPU usage only increases when I log into the game and before that it is around 50%… So, my mistake, prob nothing I can do to fix it.
I'm also pretty sure the script was running when logged in at 50%… idk… I'll figure it out

If there are short spikes those are probably attempts to find bitmaps.

It's like that steadily.
I just restarted my computer and it's running at 50% now with my logged in. So, I don't know… After a while I guess it will jump up to 99%… I free all the bitmaps I use. I'll just keep watching it, I'm sure I'll find out what it is.
