SRL Archive - OSR Help

Sorry for the title, but this really is rather dumb. So I know what I'm doing and everything on here, and I've ran into a problem. I have been running old school just fine and dandy and suddenly I add a script and "BOOM" When i compile it, it will no longer load old school. I tried loading scripts i use all the time and it still loads EOC (Ruinedscape) client. Do i just need to redo the whole process or is there a simpler way to fix this? All help is appriciated.

Get SRL-OSR, you don't need to do ghetto fixes with it. Many scripts are moving onto SRL-OSR anyway. Check out my chickenkiller thread to see instructions.

Thats the thing.. I have that and it was running fine. Now it wont load 07. See what I'm sayin ?

Yo, check it out it happen to me. Easy fix man go to your simba folder I assume its in your C:/Simba
you can get there by going to start and typing it in the search. from there open simba, includes, SRL, SRL, misc or just search what is in BETWEEN the parentheses (C:/Simba/Includes/SRL/SRL/misc) then scroll down into you see a simba script that is called SmarParams. Open it and

line 38 of SmartParams should look just like this —–> Page := 'http://oldschool33.runescape.com/,j1';

If your wondering why this happens i believe its due to adding SMART8 or SMART to an 07 script making SmartParmas reset back to default, most likely some kinda fail safe created by the masterminds. But I hope that helped. If that didn't PM me i will try to be clearer. :P

Simba probably had SRL auto-update and SmartParams probably got changed to normal SRL SmartParams.

if you still want to use that include just redownload the 07 smartparams and replace the current file there. Just opening that file and changing the address wont work. This problem is due to an update

mine is doing the exact same thing. I tried doing the changing the link in the SmartParams file but now when I start a script it says


** Failed To Grab Smart Parameters **
** Please check your internet connection/firewall **
Successfully executed.

any other help?

Randall Do what i said above. Just changing the world in smartparams just wont do it. Redownload the smartparams for 07
