So yeah.. this is my 2024th post actually, I missed the real 2k. I don't think I made a thread for 1k, but anyway.
short SRL history for me:
I first came here a long time ago looking for a wc'er, had never botted before. You needed to become a member or something to get scripts. I managed to download one willow cutter, used it once and never again because it kept moving my screen around, which I never did when playing.
Then came back looking for a way to quickly drop all of my inventory while mining, I clearly remember downloading scar and trying to figure out how to drop stuff. Didn't manage to get it working, left forever.
Then I came back here around the summer of '11, looking for a water rune crafter. Some guy with those yoda (old timer) cups had it, I downloaded and it worked. Eternal gratefulness.
I decided to check out other scripts, and I now see that it was the peak times of Reflection. I got lots of skills up, and left sometime later. Got back before summer last year, decided to learn some more and managed to make scripts. Got members, hanged around a lot for the rest of summer, then I stopped playing and only occasionally visited here for the last 5-6 months to see if anything was up.
Finished my college apps and came back, started to play too. I suppose I am going to hang around for a while.
I didn't really make friends here, I don't like the skype group because there is so much chat going on, and I don't like the IRC because there isn't much going on. I guess I need to find something inbetween, but both are there to help me when I need it, thanks for that. ;)
I'd like to thank the devs for being around and of course for all that they have created.
I want to thank @Coh3n for dealing with me when I was a noob that wanted to make some soft clay with MSI.
@Awkwardsaw for pointing me towards somewhere when I first decided to pick up scripting, even tough he didn't actually do much, it was what got me started.
@abu_jwka, @masterBB and @YoHoJo, @Wizzup? and some noob called @WT-Fakawi for their tutorials, would have left a long while ago without those.
Everyone else for being around.
And yeah, here's a pic… good enough to give you an impression of me, but not good enough to give you a good look :P
I hope I'm around for 3k.
