For those who still are not aware, there is a skype hack that is going around thro all the major buyer and sellers of RS items/LOL/WOW etc. But yesturday/today it seems they are starting to get ahold of peoples Powerbot/sythe accounts more often along with there skype and msn too…

I honestly suggest not trading anything right now. I just got scammed 150mil By a Trusted guy on PB that had 250+ Feedback/ex-mod/sponser etc. name was "The Black Tux"

Was nothing i did wrong either, was his real skype, got a PM from him over PB before trade and everything. And then litertly 2mins after trade his name shows up on sythes Hacked skype list :c

I swear i have the worst luck sometimes >.> , anyways i got all his accounts locked so he cant scam anyone else.

But just be carefull trading guys, its really sketchy atm even when you do everything you can to prevent a scam.

Edit: If any Mod or Admin wants to put a little warning message in like announcement section about the skype hackings with a list of hacked accounts Or something like that, it might help some people out. PB/Sythe both have one atm.
I wont stop anyone getting scammed from a new hacked acc, but atleast it will be a little warning about the older ones and that it exists if people are not aware of it already.

Yeah it sucks :/ Its happening to all the high ranking people on PB and stuff, which makes trading anything near impossible since you dont wanna trust new people and anyone with high feedback is hacked lol..

And Np, i just trying to make everyone aware so they dont get scammed by a hacker like i did, its one of the few scams that there is almost nothing you can do to know about it if your the first person to get scammed since the guy got hacked :c

A guy that was hacked tried trading with me.

TL;DR, if they have high feedback, don't trade atm.

They're able to recover accounts with ease, making hacks a breeze.

Just a heads up guys, ask for a PM before trading. Even if it's someone trusted like Benny, ASK for a PM!
Someone on Sythe was just scammed for 5.2B, which is roughly $1.65k :s

Hate sythe so who cares. But still be careful everyone! I remember The Black Tux from sythe, if he's the same one from PB then to get his account back he's going to have to reimburst everyone that was scammed with his account. So maybe you might get back your 150m if you provide proof of the trade.

I suggest player auctions for your gold sales, They ensure maximum security. Yes the fee is fairly big but can you put a price to security?

This is done by a using a skype resolver to get the IP, the sniffs packets, and it if gets a stable stream, it trieds to inject a bit of code into the stream and then tries to send the saved passwords list/ w/e for most know locations and
used applications/ keylogs for a while, and tries to get the key file at a later date. Most of your data should be secure, but as some of them are only encoded, its is easily broken, as for the other basic encryptions, it can be brute forced with rainbow tables. This originally came from stealing "MineCraft" login details, but is now more widespread.
