Hi there, I'm brand new to villavu, and I am very interested in scripting. before I continue learning Pascal I wanted to talk to someone to get my scripts running. I know this is the wrong sub-forum to post in, but I was hoping somebody could talk with me and answer a couple questions quickly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So what questions do you have?

Thanks for responding. So I am trying to use this script "http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98070"
I get this:
"Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'SLR/SLR.simba' used from 'C:\Users\Cory\Downloads\[07] AIO Fighter Release [0.1].simba'"

Have you looked at this guide at all? :/ http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47714

P07UpChars.zip, P07Include.simba. I have both these files in where they are supposed to go.

It's as simple as reading the guide..

I have gone over that guide, yes.

So you are learning pascal but you haven't read any of the guides or anything for setting up simba… yeah okay

Corythebory

2013-03-16 19:14:54

I don't know what I did wrong. Ugh…

Corythebory

I'm sorry, I'm probably just frustrating you guys because I didn't follow the guide as well as I should have.

You did not read the project 2007 thread at all, you extract the fonts and put them in C/simba/fonts, put p07include in simba/includes, and also set up simba correctly because it can't find the main include:SRL

Corythebory

2013-03-16 19:20:02

I didn't extract them. 7.7 Sorry. MSI is or isn't broken?

Corythebory

2013-03-16 19:23:14

I'm still getting the SLR error.. :/

Corythebory

2013-03-16 19:26:33

It was the script… The line read "{$i SLR/SLR.simba} " when it was supposed to read "{$i SRL/SRL.simba} "

I like reading tutorials. Tutorials are fun. Sometimes I even watch tutorials.

To answer your question, Anti-leech.

Corythebory

2013-03-16 19:33:17

I realize now it was an Anti-Leech. I have it set up correctly now and it's good. Now I'm just going through and compiling and looking at the errors trying to solve them. I thought it was my mistake in setting up as Anti-Leeching was supposed to be removed, or so I had read. But I read more into the forum and it seems the OP of the script hasn't been on to remove the Anti-Leeching.

How do I delete this thread?

Use the edit button or call an admin, might only work with posts and not threads.

Anti-leeches aren't allowed by SRL, as far as I know anyways.

Pookiie, I can help you solve them.

It is completely obvious…

-An ANTI-LEECH is a mistake in code used to force new users to learn a very small amount of Pascal in order to use the script. (or to gain some common sense in reading errors)
-As stated above the problem was the ANTI-LEECH changed this line of code

{$I SRL/SRL.Simba}
to

{$I SLR/SRL.Simba}

I suggest going through the forums and reading ALL the 'newbie' tutorials so that you won't get 'trolled' in the future.

Cheers

That's an Anti-Leech.
Look closer.

If you can't figure it out just look at another script and see how they wrote that.

Read what section you're posting in, you're ruining forums like this. Wish nobody helps you just because you're lazy kid.

i did do that and it says:

"Exception in Script: Unable to find file 'SLR/SRL.Simba' used from 'C:\Simba\Scripts\[07] AIO Fighter Release [0.1] (2).simba'

Corythebory

2013-03-20 20:14:06

Pookie you have to change the ($i SLR/SRL.Simba) to ($i SRL/SRL.Simba) Read the tutorials.

Who me? I already asked someone to remove this thread. I solved my problem about 2 seconds after a reply that it was anti-leech.
