Few things to improve Simba

1. Make the SMART console run in JAVAW. (This will make the console invisible, but still running)

2. Make it so when you close simba, the scripts that were last open are 'remembered'. (Like in notepad++)

Example:
You have open an essence script and a woodcutting script. You close out of simba, and re-open it. They're there again.

The nice thing about Simba is that it is open source and a community project; therefore if you would like to contribute these ``improvements'' you may do so! :]

You guys are being a little rude.

Yeah that is a great thing about Simba, but not all people with suggestions have the knowledge to actually translate it to code and implement it.
Hence we have a Simba Suggestions section, and not just a link to the git with a big message saying:
DO IT YOURSELF

1. What do you mean the SMART console? I haven't botted in awhile, but I don't remember SMART having a console open. Simba has one open, but there's a button to hide it in Simba already.

2. I think the recovery plugin can function somewhat similar to what you're asking for. I'm not sure if I'd want that implemented, though, for a few reasons. One is "cold boot" times, which isn't the biggest deal, but it's something. Second is it's more work than it's worth, really. I'd much rather people just have to go to file > open recent, but if someone wanted to put the work in to add it, that'd be fine. As long as it's an option, obviously.

I think he means this console:

Yes, like I said. :) And that's, as you showed, a console for Simba, not SMART. And as I said, you can already close that.

If I close the console it closes simba for me :3

Yup. But there's a button somewhere to the right of the select client button I think (it's on that same row, anyway) to hide the console.

God damn! I've been using it for one year and didn't know ;.;

Already disabled that. I'm talking about the output or the smart client.

Yeah, once SMART is run by Simba it has a console open. I usually just minimize it.
I think relevant code qould be somewhere in libsmart(remote?).dll, though is the source for that released?

Oh, now I remember seeing those files when I was messing around with SMART…

In that case, line 306 of SmartRemote.cpp is

info.lpFile = "java.exe";
Change that to

info.lpFile = "javaw.exe";
recompile with gcc or whatever and it should work fine. I'm not on Windows so I can't really help you out there.
