Heya, ever since I downloaded smart 8, I have the two following issues:

1) After closing Simba and SMART, there is a file left in my simba directory called SMART###, and unless I delete that file, Simba thinks that there is a running SMART. I can't stop simba from doing that, because the killclient functions don't destroy it. It's tedious to delete the file every time, and I didn't have this sort of thing with the previous versions.

2) The dtm editor and any versions of ACA don't work. Targeting the SMART window gives me an empty (white) screen, so I can't pick any colors and I have to first take a screenshot, then save it, and then open it in those tools… very tedious once again.

I hope somebody knows how to fix these. I'm running Windows 7 BTW.

I find that stopping the script then closing the SMART window and letting SMART's black box go away on its own removes the .xxxx file

Will try that.

Edit: Did that, file was still there, had to erase myself again.

@BenLand100 any suggestions? (I think this got lost among all the "I can't open 07!!1!11!" threads)
