After someone requested it I decided to venture off and make my own. Works great! Only trouble you might have that it needs the report inside of an array of string. So if you want to print it also, I have included a procedure that takes an array and prints it into the debug box.

If you use these in a script, I would appreciate recognition for my work.



Edit: Updated SaveReport to work with a variant array to make things easier. Also updated ArrayToDebug.

Great, You could have used
function GetDebugText: string;
Gets the text in the debugbox.

I debated it, but then decided it was better this way only because if someone forgot to clear the debug log they'd have a huge long report every time it re-wrote it and may cause an error with the file saving if the array is not long enough.

Kinda of topic but since we are talking about debug, is there a way to delete that last thing in the debug?

Yeah something like that.

Just use a variable like
var
R: array [0..1] of Variant;

then do

R[0]:= 'Progress Report';
R[1]:= 'Worked for…' + ScriptTime(1);
ArrayToDebug(R);
SaveReport(r);
