so i really wanna know why when this script says to turn on the Smart extension, i dont have it at all.. I have redone all the steps multiple times to set up smart8 and it never appears unless its called something other then "smart" as its extension. anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

We can't know the script that is giving the issue when you call it "this script" and you made a new topic for it instead of commenting on the script that has the issue.

When you say you did all the steps to set up SMART8, you do mean that you downloaded the .rar file, unpacked all the libraries, and put them ALL in their dedicated related folder, correct?

The script has since been taken down. but the script itself isnt the issue its the fact that im missing the so called extension "smart" that is supposedly supposed to be there, and yes i have followed this guide http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93563 mutiple times unless there is more to it then just copy and pasteing.

Have you installed SIMBA?

Can you post the exact error it displays?

yes i have installed simba and no i cant post the error because it is no error when i go to View > Extensions it shows no "smart extension" i just want to know if there is one overall for smart or if it was the script itself just as future reference because the script is no longer up.

Anti-leech?
Should look like
{$DEFINE SMART}
at the top of the script.

Otherwise, I'd check
\Simba\Plugins
and make sure you have two smartremote32, and two smartremote64 files.

i have smart8 installed so it wouldnt be just smart it'd be smart8 and i do have two each of those files.

At the top of your script where it says {I Srl/Srl.simba} Put a {DEFINE SMART8} right below it and it will fix it.

it already has that in the script and adding/moving another causes compiling issues. i guess all i want to know at this point is, is smart supposed to have its own extension by default or only after a script is loaded and written correctly?
