SRL Archive - First Scripts

Hey

This is a script for the Ranged Guild minigame. 40 Range req, and 200gp x number of games you want to play. I recommend wearing a coif in case you stand on top of the judge.

SRL-OSR is required! Find it here: https://github.com/SRL/SRL-OSR
Download the ZIP and extract the contents into Simba/Includes/SRL-OSR/

If you want the progress report to work properly in 1.1 you will need to open Simba\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\core\amounts.simba and change line 215 from

S := GetTextAtExWrap(b.x1, b.y1, b.x2, b.y2, 0, 1, 1, Col, 0, StatChars);

to

S := GetTextAtExWrap(b.x1, b.y1, b.x2, b.y2, 0, 1, 1, Col, 0, StatChars07);

Otherwise it does not read the 0s when counting items.

1.1 - It should not get stuck on the scoreboard, I swear! Also progress report, see above. Some other little stuff

1.11 - More Antirandoms, moar random clicks.

1.2 - Added the corner spamclick firing method, it's a bit temperamental at the moment so I'm not sure if I would recommend it. Although even if it runs off fairly regularly it seems to get about the same xp/h that the normal firing method does. It is quite a lot faster if it keeps working for long periods of time, but it is more likely to run off. I'll keep trying to make it better though.
Antirandoms should now work all the time (although obviously only the ones included in OSR-SRL). 

1.3 - More random spamclicking. Don't know if its worth it. Runs from combat now, however it also runs if someone below you is in  combat (because I just used the SRL incombat and changed the health bar coordinates). More accurate clicking of the target. More reliable antirandom. Probs other stuff.

Few more things will be coming soon, like smoother and less bot-like camera movement to get the target into corner. Could add a straightforward spamclicker but like I have said, it does not work for me probably because I'm on terrible wireless.

Hi, I'm not entirely sure what has gone wrong for you, I didn't actually put any antileech things in, when I get home I will check I didn't break it before uploading or something. Are other 07 scripts working alright for you?

Edit - Ok so I'm back, it looks like rsReady is part of the EoC login, although I'm not sure, having never scripted for EoC. Make sure you have set up Simba and SMART8 for Oldschool Runescape. There's a decent guide for it somewhere in the Help section I think.

Hi Sape, thanks for posting your script.

It partially worked for me, but during the Fire procedure it doesn't seem to be able to locate the targets. The count is still printed and loops but the cursor doesn't move during that time.

I'm still new to this so I can't offer any advice, but I thought I'd let you know what works for me.

Cool thanks. It seems the TargetDTM needs updating every now and then, especially when you first use it. I'm going to try and see if I can make it create the DTM itself so you won't have to bother with it, and add some more failsafes etc. over the next couple of days. Will update it when its done.

- Ok I just changed the TargetDTM (and competition judge colour) and put my brightness up to 4, it seems to work for me having logged in and out a few times, if you wanna try it now that would be cool.

What sort of xp is this

I did a 10 min sample works out at 23k/hr and smoother than any other bot i've seen so far. Nice script

20kgp per hour is nothing, plus you can buy green d'hide bodys or rune arrows with the tickets

this is 5k loss max per hour

Thanks for testing, yeah I've been trading for rune arrows and then selling the arrows for 200gp ea. As long as you're average points per game is over 400 you break even. I think it's influenced by you're range attack bonus (and maybe level)

(400 points = 40 tickets, 2000 tickets for 50 rune arrows so you need to play 50 games, totally 10k spent, then sell 50 rune arrows for 200 each, which gives 10k)

My average is probably 450ish, so I make some money.

why doesnt it work for me every time i press start it says compailing fail

Can you copy and paste the entire error message? That isn't a lot to go on. It compiles for me fine. Have you set up simba and SMART for OSRS?

Im using your bot as i type this and i notice that sometimes it will talk to the judge 2 or 3 times before it will actually start the game. ive also noticed that it will sometimes get stuck after the game has ended and it will start clicking around in the chat box. other than that the script runs pretty good!

After using this for near 3 hours, got a couple of bits of feedback for you:

- You should remove ambiguous right-click search terms; I.E "talk to", because there are multiple NPC's that look like the compo. judge with a talk-to option, so the bot sometimes tries clicking random NPC's
-There needs to be a failsafe for closing the box that pops up, it'll sometimes sit there for a while until I manually close it, though spam clicking the targets would also solve this

Yea thanks, I did actually remove the talk-to, I just haven't updated it yet because that's pretty much the only change. I will be adding more failsafes soon, just had a bit of uni work recently so I haven't been able to look at it properly. Thanks a lot for the feedback

Just Tested it for about 15 minutes seems to work smoothly so far!
Edit: After a while on the last arrow fired it doesnt close the window and just moves the mouse around as if it were talking to the judge

I also have the common bug, after a few loops through, it doesn't close the scoreboard window after the last arrow is fired and it just moves the mouse around as if it were talking to the judge, without actually progressing to this stage yet. It gets stuck here and just cycles through. To me, someone with a very limited knowledge, it seems like you need to wait longer after firing at the target to then close the scoreboard pop up, then proceed as normal to talking to the judge.

Damn has been working flawless so far, been babysitting while doing my hw and its been doing great.

is this for eoc or 07scape?

I will add an option to spam click it, personally when I play legit I press the X so I wanted to mimic that.

Ok. Updated it slightly, shouldn't get stuck on the scoreboard screen and added a progress report. You need to change a line in amounts.simba, see the OP.

I will add the spamclick option and make it return to the hay bales if it wanders after I get some lunch.

works like a charm, yes adding spamclicking would bump up the exp, other then that it has been running flawless. Could you also add a exp/h because i have no clue how much exp this is tbh. thanks for the awesome script.

awesome script but things to add:
1. anti random
2. spam clicking for faster exp
3. goes back in position if it misclicks

Script works decently… However I went completely AFK to fix dinner and came back logged out, logged in and apparently it died somehow. Bad place to die considering you have to have a respectable amount of GP on you. Lesson learned though.

Edit: also a few times it got stuck in the corner outside the fence.

I'm not sure why you are getting "Unable to find…", did you extract srl-osr-master folder as well, or just the contents? (You only need the contents). Or, can you go to simba/includes/srl-osr/ and see srl/simba?

Sorry about you dying, I imagine you got attacked by a random? I will be adding antirandom soon, although I don't think all antirandoms are solveable at the moment, so I still would not recommend leaving it.

Hey guys, when I start the script everything works till it logs in, after logging in it just stands there doing nothing and then after one minute, the script stops.

You should set the camera like this; because even spamclicking doesnt work properly anymore.

I think it'll be difficult, however, as the camera angle isn't always the same for everyone. But I think the closer the better.

Leonbes, only extract the folders (and files) within srl-osr-master into /simba/includes/srl-osr and it should work.

benniezema - I'm unsure what could be wrong, does it give you an error? Does it stop after a while and say a reason for failing?



In other news I added some amount of antirandom and more random clicking methods in a small update, I haven't had time to do anything bigger since I havent had to time get on Runescape.

leonbes, just download that srl-osr-master zip, extract the srl-osr-master folder into simba/includes and rename srl-osr-master to srl-osr.

sere, you need to fill in your RS ingame name under "Players[0].Nick := " or antirandoms will not work and you will get that error

i have extracted the slr-osr-master folders and files into includes an still all i am getting is this

suggestions you could change: let it not wear the bronze arrows (just buy 5k bronze arrows and equip it before you start the script) this might safe time in the end
another suggestion is to let it spam click^.^ good script scape keep up to good work!

v1.1 works for me, but not 1.11.. the antirandom on that one seems to give me an error, I tried googling how to fix it but I couldn't as a newfag here. =/

Kimba, rename the srl-osr-master folder to "srl-osr". Yeah I could make an option for not equipping arrows, shouldn't be hard.

That would work, but randoms would still break the script. Just put your runescape display name under Player[0].Nick and it will work fine, as well as solving (the majority of) randoms

Noted some problem…1)Because you make it click the outer target it will occasionally (once every 20 minutes)click the guards and the script will completely stop (I think others have said this already) Otherwise, you could make it spam click instead of click and wait until popup shows up for the mouse to click "x" and start all over. 2)It also has difficulty counting I think? Sometimes it clicks the target like 12 times and then asks the range competition judge to get more tickets. Is that an anti-ban?

Are you using 1.11? It shouldn't really count at all, it just keeps clicking the target until the judge says you need to enter. The first version did just hit it ten times, but it was more liable to error. If it missed one then it would break.

Ohhh…Ok works fine then. Otherwise the problems still remains that it will occasionally click on the guard when shooting. Disrupting the event and thus logging the character out because he does not run back. It would be better if you simply make it click the middle target^^

Died from randoms. You should add an option in which if attacked it would run up the ladder.

Were you using 1.11? It should be able to deal with randoms.

Got 1.1 to work for me. I love it, I get 10-16k/hr, but it could reach 30k+ if the script spam clicked instead as others have suggested. Hopefully you can implement that. Thanks for the script regardless.

Also, for anyone moving away from hay bales, try messing around with your camera angle.

Tekniqz I'm not sure what could be wrong, you're SRL-OSR does look like it is in the right place. Are you trying to runu SmartParams.Simba instead of my script? Just because that's where all the errors look like they are from.

Use your ingame runescape name as your nick. I wouldn't risk that much just yet, the antirandom in my script isnt great at the moment because the scorescreen can interrupt it, but it should be better once I update it tomorrow.

nick is your in game character name, also don't suggest leaving the 400k overnight. bot might last an hour before it reaches an unsolvable random or moves outside the haystacks, mine actually got me 2 defense by attacking rangers. almost died too but i babysat it

i sayd in my post everything was working great, ofcourse i have srl-osr, otherwise i couldnt even run the script, all i sayd that that it would be nice if there were more randoms to be solved,
and an auto click option.

to be honest I think there should be more random support for this too would be really nice to see some more random support ^ :)

Bot got about 15k xp before getting a frog random. It solved it, but couldn't continue after :(

This is the event which the anti random didn't solve. Im not sure if you have put an anti-random for this specific one, but if not please could you do so. :)

I'd love to see a method that has your guy run away to the door of the guild if it detects you are under attack/under a certain hp. The amount of randoms you get here is insane, I find myself getting one almost every 25-30 minutes.

Great script but sometimes it misclicks Gl with making it perfect bro looking forward to more updates

Already died again. I'm going to stop using this until the random detection is better. The script itself is great though.

Every 25-30 min? That's a blessing… try fishing.. or any other activity that isn't questing. Next time leave your volume on, assuming you babysit anyway, which you should at this point.

Ran it for about 30minutes without spam clicking and it always manages to walk back when it misses. It`s a bit slow, but good job. Oh and it misses allot less I find. So far so good :)

Good script.

One suggestion: after speaking to the judge, for some reason the bot makes some jerking movements with the camera (attempts to reposition spinning maybe 3 times about 60 degrees) then continues.

Currently testing version 1.2, will post results. Also would like to confirm just what we put as our character name, our full display, a random middle 3 characters, or everything but the first character. Thanks. Also, as the above post says, the jerking of the camera is real weird and bad. I'd try and remove it, but I'm not sure what function is used to move the camera left and right

works great. I was trying to fix the autorange guilder 11 by ibot_dung11 but found this while doing it :) any tips on scripting? Where can I learn how if everythings eoc nowdays? just look at old scripts?

OT: This script has gotten me 43-70 range so far, all the bugs that it had have been mentioned but it has been great, gj.

It's just way too much work to babysit, as you literally get a random that SRL wont solve (that's all of them) every 15 minutes.

If you dont want the camera jerk thing just put firemethod to 1. Its slower but more reliable. it moves the camera to get the target underneath the X on the scoreboard, but sometimes it does it when it's already there, I'm not sure why, I'll try and sort it out.

mafia miles, a lot of the tutorials in the help and tutorials section still apply to OSRS. I've been learning through those and just reading through other peoples scripts.

It seems to solve all the randoms that I have got except the mysterious old man box and the poison plant thing. If you are not already, you should probably swap to firemethod 1

Love the 1.2 update!

Everything is working fine. Even the spam clicking is good:) The only problem I encounter is that it occasionally just STOPS after 20 or so minutes… It sais "Not logged in" and then it stops. Yet, obviously, it is still logged in. What is going wrong?

Oh and another problem is that it occasionally has difficulty finding the competition master because everyone is wearing coifs. This is only a small problem that I don't think people really mind. I just think that there could be a more efficient/faster way to find the competition master.

You simply download the ZIP from github, linked to in the opening post, extract srl-osr-master to Simba/Includes and rename it to srl-osr. As for ruining your other scripts, did you overwrite SRL?

You could try deleting the SRL folder and let simba redownload it, or you could download it from https://github.com/SRL/SRL-5 and re-overwrite the folder

It should really run away from combat because of the antirandom. What fire mode are you using? I haven't noticed it hit guards as I've been running it

1 the script stops when the player gets in combat that causes people to die
2 when it misclicks and goes back to spot after that it keeps misclicking on the target

You should try adding the beta SPS for OSR - back when wildy came back it turned my range guilder from a 2 hour/baby-sit script into a "run forever, get 99 range" script

That line 174 error was because _findnormalrandoms parameters changed, I uploaded a fix, I don't know how well it will find the randoms though, I have cancelled my runescape membership until I finish my final term exams at Uni (which is why I have not been updating this, sorry)

Ok well its currently working beautifully thank you so much for taking time out of your study schedule to take care of this :) Minor odd behavior was when the script starts, it like wiggles the screen back and forth. I don't know if this is new or not but im just throwin it out there.

This is in the first script section, and it has already been stated that it can only run for 30-40 minutes because it doesn't handle randoms well.

If you want better antirandom download the 1.3 version (not 1.3fix) and do this:

Thanks butterb for that, it should close the scorescreen as it originally did before the function changed. Unfortunately I can not test it because my laptop is broken and I don't have time to fix it before my exams. It's a little hard to do on a phone. If I get access to a pc I will update it myself

Fire method 2 could use some editing though… if it worked more effectively it would easily be faster than fire method 1. However, it has a problem setting itself up. I believe it happens when the judge moves, because that changes where the targets are with respect to the corner of the scoreboard. What ends up happening is it cant seem to find the target by rotating the camera.

Right now it seems like the code you have moves the mouse to the corner, above the x in the scoreboard, and then looks for the target using the camera rotation. I think you should try reversing this process. First it would hover the mouse over a target. Then it would rotate the camera so that the mouse is now also hovering over the area where the x in the scoreboard is.

I have resorted to method 1 as it is working flawlessly! thanks again for this script I love having high ranged :D

edit: something is wrong with it attacking guards. It doesnt run from combat. Even with like 400 arrows wielded, I ended up with an empty quiver in a few hours. The other ranged guild script has a nice feature in it that somehow stops it from attacking guards. maybe you could try to copy it a little.

Yes there is, but it doesn't support randoms which is extremely annoying. Failure to check it every 2 minutes will usually result in Mr. Hyde comboing you. I've saved myself twice with like 20 hp left with his script. I don't really see the point of his script when it doesn't support randoms….

I have ONLY used this script on the account that got banned. I used it for about 1 to 2 hours max as I kept getting randoms that aren't supported by simba yet so I had to restart the script a few times. The longest I had it running at one time was one hour. I only had just downloaded this script and started using about 2 hours before I was banned. As I said before this is the only script I used on this account as it was my pure and I had no other scripts I could of used that would of been of value to this account.
I'm only throwing this out there to warn others. No need to get so upset about it and discredit me over absolutely nothing. I know what script got me banned and this was the one. Has anyone else been banned using this?

… What kind of question is that? I obviously used scripts that do the same thing and I love what this script does. All the times this script failed wasn't because of the script itself but because of simba not supporting the randoms so obviously it's not the scripts fault. It's a good script.
I have not been banned before as I have not played runescape since 2007 and recently came back to play on the old server. This first time I been banned on runescape.
Like I said I got banned, I have no reason to lie about this, and again this is the ONLY script I used.
You can make assumptions and tell me I'm wrong with no proof whatsoever but I still maintain this is the only script I used and I got banned for botting so you put it together bud.

Not trying to be rude, but I found this site because someone referred me to it for botting 07. I really have no other reason to be here. I'm not a coder, and I don't want to become one. Nobody told me this was a learning community. I got called a leecher, and for some reason I didn't want to be that. Now I realize that unless I start coding, I'm still going to be a leecher, and nothing is going to change that. To be honest, I don't care about this site, I'm really just here for the bot. I know its valid for coders to feel annoyed when someone uses their script and just complains about it. I feel like that needs to be something that coders need to be prepared to deal with, and not complain about. If you don't want other people leeching off your script, then maybe you shouldn't make it public? If you want to share it and be a nice person, then you shouldn't be upset when people just download it and leave. Again, not trying to be mean or rude, even though it may come off that way. Imagine this in like an even and level tone. Not trying to start a fight or something, just looking at this realistically. Maybe if this script didn't get me banned I'd be more willing to give you consistent quality feedback, but it did so I really have almost no connection to this site. kthxbai

How could you already love the script after using it for only 1 hour, and having it fail a ton of randoms? that doesn't sound very inspiring. Even if you got it to go for an hour, thats not that great…

Most people always assume they got banned because of the script they were using at that time. Then they come to the bot forums and complain about a ban, and usually post in the wrong place. Also, most bans are not due to the specific bot that was used, but instead the frequency of using the script. If you would have given us this information in your original post, it would have made it more believable and credible.

However, I still find this unbelievable, because getting banned 1-2 hours after using a script is ridiculous. The reason I say this is because most goldfarmers depend on the fact that it takes a couple weeks to gather enough evidence to ban an account, and thus have enough time to make profit on the membership they paid for. Have you been banned on other accounts before? Its possible jagex has your IP or something. This is the first story i've ever heard of being banned for botting in such a short timeframe.

So the random mods that go to PC and places and ban people…. (Maybe 30 seconds after you pressed play)
Would not possibly be able to ever go into the range guild and do the same?… … ? … ? … ? ?
