SRL Archive - OSR Outdated / Broken Scripts

hey, first time simba scripter here (tho i have a degree in computer science so im not bad at it).

anyway i watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMJK-r-O4wg and figured it would be a simple thing to start scripting with, so here it is.

1. you start in al karid bank with some money in your first inventory slot
2. it walks to the silk trader
3. it buys silk from him for 3gp each until your inventory is full
4. it walks back to the bank and banks it

you should have a file C:\alarm.wav to be played if the bot fails.

the silk can then be sold in ardougne for 60 each, for 57gp profit.
the bot isnt the fastest thing in the world an does get stuck once in a while, but for a colorbot relying on DTMs and clicking in random areas its not bad. you should be able to make roughly 13k/hr with this and you dont need any skills whatsoever.

hopefully SPS gets up and running for this soon, because DTM is just not reliable.

includes some mild anti-leech.

Don't think this was setup with the proper SMART.

sorry i should have mentioned it doesnt work with smart8 because i could not get smart8 working after installing and reinstalling it and changing java versions and everything. i dont think smart8 is ready to be adopted since im not the only one with this error at all. it does work nicely with smart 7.2 though.

i dont even see how this is possible.

for me, line 294 is just the word else. maybe you should post your line 294.

Remove the 8 off {define Smart8}

I tried to get it working with SMART8 but kept getting param errors for some reason.

Will let you know if I get it running.

It hasn't managed to find point 2, at all.
I have never even used Simba and managed to solve those anti-leaches. Cmon guys…

its the dtms they arnt reliable and its not really the scripters fault best thing u can do is make your own dtms

is there really? i dont know anything about SPS yet but i know DTMs fucking suck. half of the points in my script dont even use DTMs anymore because they fucked up so many times. if you make slight adjustments it should work though. i gotta figure out this SPS stuff.

Hey, I've noticed this tends to fail when looking for 'point 8' Is this anti-leech? or is this an issue with the script? if it's an actual error, and not anti-leech then would you please consider fixing it? I'd love to use this script! if it's anti-leech, a hint would be lovely. Thanks
