Hello,

After being away from the SRL Forums for quite some time, I made the decision to come back. I attempted updating everything to the most recent updates and so on.

I've encountered a few really nasty errors, which started occurring after i attempted to update to SMART 8.

I downloaded all the needed files in the Binary Download and exported them to my Simba\Plugins and then attempted to run a script.

Not only did running the script not work, it also doesn't run any other script I've tried, including the 07 ones I have tried using.

For those of you who have encountered this error, please let me know how to fix this..

The errors are as follows:

[Hint] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba(264:3): Variable 'PARAMS' never used at line 263 
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba(284:3): 'BEGIN' expected at line 283 Compiling failed. 
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL\SRL\misc\SmartParams.Simba(78:8): Unknown identifier 'RSReady' at line 77 Compiling failed.]

Did you do some edits to your smart params file? if not it looks like you are trying to run the script from the smartparams files which is why those errors show up - so a different error would be expected from trying to run the actual script.

But i am not. I am loading a downloaded script and then running it, but the smartparams tab opens and shows me the errors.

Edit: Not to mention that i am also getting an error under the global tab when i try to load some scripts, and the error states:

[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/globals.simba(696:5): Unknown identifier 'ImageSetClientArea' at line 695
Compiling failed.

EDIT 2:

Its all good, i just totally deleted my Simba folder in my C: drive after uninstalling, then i reinstalled. Its all good.
