SRL Archive - General

Does anybody know if there exists a source for Scar Divi (3.15 specifically, but any version is fine)? My friend and I are making a client for Oldschool and we were looking to incorporate old SCAR Scripts along with our own Java scripts. We have been looking at the SCAR Divi manual but there doesn't seem to be a source code released.

I have seen custom clients (with dead links, of course) so that leads me to believe there may be a source out there somewhere.

SCAR has never been open source.

Freddy uses a lot of proprietary 3rd party components so he can't release open source unless he replace those components which I highly doubt he will ever do.

You can always just modify Simba to fit your needs ;)

True but I was just wondering if it was possible. I wanted to try some of the old SCAR scripts out that I have in my archives on Old School. Simba is really nice but I am still learning.

Scripts that old (even though written for RS07) will most likely not even compile in the newer version of SCAR, plus you'd also need the older fonts and versions of SRL to accompany them. Even if you do get them running with all the proper (old and outdated) software/includes they probably still won't work well.

It's best to just make/use new script with the latest Simba/SRL.
