Dont have much GP on my main ATM, but I wanted to do QBD, so I needed to get 75-85 herblore, 10 levels cant be that bad right? Wrong, just cost me almost 25m doing ranging potions XD

I'm sure there were cheaper options.

Ouch… And here I want to go from 72 to 92 so I can finish up some task sets =/

Yeah. herb is expensive. Cost me like 450mill when i did it a while ago lol

I actually the cheapest option was a profit, 22m. It was cleaning 215k torstols lol. The cheapest potion was attack, at 5gp/xp, if buying grimy hearb, cleaning and making potions. Ranging potions were the next cheapest potion that I could do and not take forever, so I did them. No point in waiting 85 hours, vs 10 to use it. I'm going to be doing QBD, so I should make it back quick IMO

If you are willing to bot, cheaper (yet slower) options include cleaning herbs, attack pots and serum 207s.

I know, but by that time, I could have just made the money back. I average about 1m an hour flipping, so its 25 hours of flipping plus 10 hours to make them, or 80 hours with a 5m loss for 207's or 95 hours cleaning the herbs. So it is technically "more efficient" to just spend the money I guess. Just sticker shock.

Extreme ranging potions are one of the most expensive to make lol. You should've just used Ashaman's Herblore script and botted cheaper potions.

Good job, why not tell the wonderful community that your friend gave you main and offhand drygores? Just pretend you spent 25M and then you got those as a price. Worth It.

I went from 76-99 herb and made 20m in the process.
I botted making attack potions. All 450k of them. Of course this was back when making attack potions was a profit. Now you'd lose money making them.

Guams do fluctuate, so I would definitely be on the look out for the next time these are profitable. Im sure it will happen again.

If you clean grimy dwarf weed you make 200gp profit per herb. I heard this is 100k xp/h?

Ive been leveling herb lately but I've been making my own vials, growing my own herbs/getting them from miscellania and collecting most of the ingredients (buying some). Making a decent profit so far.

I said I dont have much money on my main. My drygore maces were sold yesterday on a different account. That money has gone into prayer for pker. I wasnt going for woe is me, I have 50m on most accounts that I use, including the 50m I bought from you. I was exclaiming that the price was higher than I thought.

Nerfed, I think it is 40k ish an hour now due to the production screen.

Yep, it depends on how fast you can make them. I heard on the forums you can make 2k per hour for 100k xp per hour but the bot I used was only able to make 1700-1800 per hour max so I was making around 85-90k xp per hour.

With scroll of cleansing its easy to level up and make profit with just about every potion. I wonder why people still don't know about this.

Cause its not profit every potion. People goldfarm with scroll of cleansing and make Unfs , normally making unfs cheaper then the herb itself. Thus taking all the "profit" from herb. Even when i did it when dging came out, it only saved me like 60mil doing 80-99 herb. Which cost me around 450mil at the time.

I wish id known about scroll of cleansing when I did my 99 herb… Cost me 80-100m doing prayer potions. Wasn't the best but least was cheaper than 365m for 99 prayer.

Nowadays, you can get 99 prayer for less than 120m.

As the others said, SoC will really help in the future for herblore!

Oh wow, that's a lot! I got my 99 herblore during a double xp weekend and I think I wasted about 100M on it doing Super Recoveries :duh:
