Nice script, it seems to get ahead of itself (like taking steps before its actually done it so you could be on the same lap for quite awhile) other than that its quite good and has potential to be great.

It's a pretty nifty script (Better than anything I could do, with me being new to SRL)

Like others have said; it's often ahead of itself so it doesn't know exactly which part of the course you're currently on.

There are no failsafes at all. Pretty much unusable.
I started rewriting your script but decided to watch Homeland instead

Good job, very interesting and helpful. Is the 600-1000ms wait time long enough for the pipes? When it's occupied, you have to wait for about 3 seconds I believe.

Yea im working on that fail safe! so if it does click it waits to make sure it goes in before continuing the script!

Seems to always mess up on the balancing rope for me….

A quick question once it finishes the Pipe procedure. the script cannot find the log again. do i have to make another procedure? so it becomes visible to the script? thank you.

It's working, but there is 1 minor issue that will cause it to stop every few laps that I want to address, soon!

Can anyone lean me towards a fix to the "failsafe" and "walk to log"? I goes through the course well just fails at failsafe and continuing to next log.

Your walktolog procedure doesnt work, but you can basically replace it with

I gave up I made the script work, but there are many misclicks due to the colors. Thank you anyways. I wish i could develop on it.

Also, if you see adamaters script he fixed the "Back to log".

The only thing that is driving me crazy is the ROPE color it keeps missclicking the color! i tried like 10 different numbers but all missclick. 4416898 was good until the second loop and then failed…. ugh rules of joe please provide the color you are using for rope.

I can't get the darn thing to click on anything.. mouse moves but no clicks. Any hints would be nice.

It worked great up until the rope then it got stuck, did a loop without actually doing anything ingame then just stood there saying 'Found DTM' until i stopped it, i'll try changing the colour you posted

Yes I'm using version 2.2, it never walks to the log.. sometimes it loops again through all cycles, but always stands by pipe.. it'll move camera angle to but goes nowhere after crawling through the pipe.

This is left click! For the first log we need to find angle and compass view for it to click the beginning so im working on that atm! the pipe works fine for me for 6 runs none stop! and Rope!

A really nice script overall. The only problem I found was when it misses a particular area of the course. Instead of re-clicking the section, it will click the next section thinking the character is there when it isn't. Anyway of including a fail safe which ensures if the mouse click misses, it will retry again?

The way to make proper failsafes for each one is to check that the message popped up in chat, using bmp, maybe dtm. So it doesnt go on to the next step without having done the one it's supposed to.

Had a big problem with script, meaning it will only take you around the course once. After you climb through the pipe it cannot find its way back to the start (The Log).

Haven't been able to make a complete lap with the script. 7 attempts. Missing the object wouldn't be a problem with the failsafes suggested above.

Fuck this pipe is killing me! Only thing thats holding me back! I got the fail safes in guys just need to find out a better method for the pipe!

Whats wrong with the pipe? It works fine for me even the fail safe. The only problem is going back to log and Adamater had solved it trying to input his code again didnt work.

I just updated the Script with a pipe failsafe and redclikers! The Walk back to log is broken because DTM's are currently Down and thats what I used to Walk to the Log!

You can do log by either making the camera angle facing the log from where you exit the pipe, or making it click something like the agility icon on the minimap to walk there. The rest is looking good.

you need to make the dtm yourself usually, what is yours pointing to? And is your brightness on highest?

It has trouble finding the balancing rope; the mouse clicks everywhere.
Edit: Fixed the rope. After completing a lap it doesn't walk back to the log, however.

I'm not trying to cry, I'm giving you feedback on the script. Like me and many others, it works fine but it just does not walk back to the start point after it does a lap. What should I try to do on my end to try and fix it? I've tried creating the DTM to the log but it still does not work.

I wish it was that easy! You need to know how to make regular scripts for Runescape and then the P07_include commands! You may make up your own!

I was having a some similar problems on a vmware machine, what I did was to disable my mouse so that it wouldnt interfere with the client, I also made sure that the rs browser fit into the screen (resolution). then I used adamater's version:

I was having the rope problem too so I changed it to left click the rope and now I have 0 problems with getting stuck

Success I finished Gnome village quest now can tele to agility have update for u guys! Account level 10. now 19

Well, I found my issue, it's looking for a color that it can't find.
I got it to skip the log and go ahead with the course and it won't climb the branch because of the colors issue too. I know in EoC RS that the colors are randomized everytime you log, not sure if it existed back in 07.

using 2.4 (newest version) works good (a bit slow but stable) but it does nothing after pipe. i've had to change "high" to "low" and had to change "south" to "west" either way it still freezes at pipe :(

I have to get my agility to level 32.
I'm already 99 Agility on eoc and I just can be asked to get 1-32 on my account.

See the problem is that everyone needs to make their own dmt's on every restart of the client. Even in 07 it randomized colours on restart.

The script won't click the branch and you forgot to free DTM_tree.
I used your Branch procedure instead of the TreeD and it started to work.

My script stops after I've done the pipe.

New Plan Will be Working on DTMs Instead of Colors! Tired of them changing all the time!

I've changed the Walktolog procedure to walk to the agility icon on the minimap, so it will actually move after exiting the pipe, but really what this needs is more failsafes on every step, as it continues on sometimes without doing its intended action. I can get this to run maybe 2 or 3 laps in a row before it mis-clicks somewhere and lacks a failsafe to catch itself. But overall, it is coming along. :)

Many people were asking for help. You stated theres no anti-leech, so many of them probably thought they are doing something wrong setting up whole simba and other things included. It's not trolling. It is outcome of being misslead by lying to them.

If your too stupid to get the bot working, then don't bot. This is my first time trying to bot cause i dont' want to spend my whole life clicking.. an if you listen to exactly what the Guides provided by Gurkan and DannyRS say for the include and SMART, you'd be one step away from using the script, without minimal scripting knowledge, but nope your a leech and that's why it will not work for you.

worked good for me got me 15 agil from 1 only messed up for me on the pipes when people would go in before me.

I haven't been able to get it to click the log after coming out of the pipe yet.

The interaction functions seem to be alright yet the script needs (a) function(s) to detect how far in the course it is in order to be reliable. There's no point in assuming it always goes correctly when a red click occurs (can't reach, lag, etc etc). Once a failure occurs, which will happen often, the loop will be stuck and that's where it should correct itself. Good luck further developing the script! :)

nebbyyy, I fixed that by adding the line: SetupSRL; between begin(line 135) and P07_DeclarePlayer;(line 137)

also have to fix line 2 by adding an 8 after SMART, like this: {$DEFINE SMART8}

anyways, now it finally runs but it doesn't log in or anything

ah! got it to work finally, it wont auto log in by itself tho, so disable SMART and log yourself and then enable it again.

2.7.1 is completely retarded. Mouse is moving all over your screen (even outside RS) and it won't click anything at all.

Yeah actually I worked out how to change scripts to my liking by reading through pretty much every script on this website and seeing what goes where and why, not by watching a tutorial.

Hi Joe,

I've solved the anti-leech and have everything up-to date and current according to the guides that I was instructed to follow. Just noticed something wrong with the script, its currently at the starting log and is not clicking on the part of the log that initiates walking across it. It is clicking in the middle of the log, as opposed to the start of it as required.

Is this another anti-leech I need to fix or does it sound like something wrong on my end/the script?

In hopes of getting it to run while minimized, instead it just kept trying to open up the jar for runescape. Any ideas/help?

Found anti-leeches, "Walking to log" still doesn't work.. seems like it clicks out of gnome course, changing color id:s propably wouldn't help cause the problem is that walking to agility icon is not working..

Finally done! Took me 3 hours of(f) my life to learn basics of scripting and repair this. Had to change some color id:s and change a method. :spot: i didn't know scripting was this easy..

I gotta say to the maker of this script, it's absolutely terrible. You've attempted to rectify your script 27 times (v2.7) and still have major issues. I'd suggest deleting everything and trying a different method to do the course.

really looking for an update on this, agility is the only thing that doesnt have annoying random events it seems.

I think the way to solve those flaws is to make it to recognize whether the obstacles are done correctly or not.. and the way to do that is to make it recognize those ingame messages popping up every time you proceed an obstacle… but as far as i know there is no way for a simba client to recognize them yet.. not in 07 mode..

just a suggestion, its good that you guys put a lot of effort and work to releasing this scripts - publicly for free; might as well maximize the amount of users that get to enjoy them without breaking the forums rule of conduct. For me its been good to learn some of the basics for a good few hours during work.

If you stop and start the script repeatedly then it'll open a client every time. Clients, in my experience, take like 1-5minutes to load. So if you run this script over and over, clients will keep popping up.
That is, until you select a client to use the script on, so the script can sync with the SMART client.
To not make it open smart (and run in a browser), remove {$define smart} at the top.

thanks for the replay but i do not click it multiple times. i only click it once and it opens the client and then it just opens another and another -repeat…freezes pc after 7-8 clients lol but ya i guess it's not going to work with smart. still getting stuck at pipe damn it.

i'm getting the same. but mine doesn't click the rope.

I'm also getting the problem where multiple SMART's keep opening even though I don't press stop and play. I just press play once.

To prevent the script opening multiple SMART instances, remove SETUPSRL from the first procedure.

I'll have a browse of the SRL API and have a look at making one myself (need it anyway). Used to code for RSBuddy so the Java -> Pascal jump shouldn't be too difficult.

You answered your own question. Look at the error it's giving you; something isn't quite right.

I'm very new to simba. Just properly installed eveything. Now how do I actually Run/Use scripts?

99% perfect. Just needs to detect what step you are up to. Sometimes I need to restart the script because it gets mixed up and it doesnt know what step its up to. e.g. looking for the log after i press start when im on the tree.

Other than that, once its going, its great. good job :D

The anti-leech is: It says Inculude instead of Include

Read the SMART8 guides and 2007scape SMART to use SMART8.
Add {$DEFINE SMART8} to the top of the script.

Just a quick heads up a problem i encountered was walking back to log after completing course. quick and easy fix i updated DTM at line 127, DTM_2 := DTMFromString('mFQEAAHicncs9CoAwDIbhxlHwTOqgIK1WEfw5o6urd/MtpkJHDTwk+UIKY0yTPVp0cMrqHm41SlQ6T/wNsOgxYsaCHRtWzTwcROR1Xkeyh4pZ6HHOyb+SH5K6AYg3EPA=');
yes i know its a bit long but that is how i like it ;), "60% of the time it works every time".


Hopefully one day i will be able to write a script as good as your current, but for now i will remain in the shadows and fix what i can. Self learning is the way.

I wasn't paying attention and it took me about an hour after closing it to realize the script had no {$Define SMART8}.

Otherwise script is okay but it walks off the course after finishing a lap and sometimes clicks too fast.
