SRL Archive - OSR News and General

I have been playing RS-007 for some time, but there are a couple of oddities that do not match 2007:

1. compass. The compass as displayed in rs-007 is not the same as the brownish compass in the original.
2. Mordaut. Possitive that Mordaut wasnt in the game in 2007.
3. Whats with Construction? It is there, house tellies are there, but it is disabled? Wasnt there in 2007.
4. FindName. Findname is crucial once again. If you dont respond to Rick Turpentine, Sandwich Lady, dwarf etc….you'll end up dead in lumby. Gas, pickaxehead…its all there.
5. But….where is the Box? Sure it was there in 2007.

The old randomevents will be a pain (the really old ones)

I've observed that randoms have appeared much more frequently than I remember… I'm not sure if it's because I am mining, or what it is though. I have gotten 3 or 4 randoms in 10 minutes.

The box is there. Construction was released at the end of 06, it's only temporarily disabled. Not sure about the others

I solved the construction mistery…noone can afford a house,lol.

The box is still there, I got a few of them so far
I believe Jagex said Construction is broken right now, and they have to fix it

Not sure about the compass, I don't remember it lol

Jagex temporarily disabled construction themselves, they said it will be back up in this week hopefully.
