how do you get your mouse to move to a certian coord I got the script to compile correctly but the mouse doesn't move anywhere when I try it out on runescape website like in the video tutorial do you leave it as x, y, or do you put the numbers in

if you're using coördinate clicking, then yeah put numbers in it.

If you're using color searching (Findobj or findcolortolerance etc…)
then just keep it at x, y.

so which is more effective as far as clicking for example an ore because when I try to get it to move to the coal like the dude does in the video his mouse moves around but mine doesn't so because its a black color would I need to put a number with the x and y coords of the coal that I want it to mine to give it more of a discription of where the coal is for better accuracy

I don't understand this fully.
But it's like this: (don't put numbers in them, that's just static clicking )

procedure test;
var
x, y : integer // declare variables

begin
If findcolortolerance(x, y, 156486, MMX1, MMY1, MMX2, MMY2, tol) then // note: Coords are different for 07scape. think P_07MM..?
begin
MMouse(x, y) // moves the mouse to the found color
Clickmouse2(mouse_left) // clicks
end;

Basic explanation
if u want static clicking (which I don't recommend on the mainscreen since the compass shifts)

procedure ola;
begin
MMouse(153, 759, 2, 2)
ClickMouse2(Mouse_left)
end;

I hope u see the difference
