So I'm debating returning to Runescape as I received and email today at 2007 runescape being re released. Got a few questions and I guess this is the best place to ask…

1. Will it always be membs only or will it soon become ftp? Im not sure if its worth me buying membership again
2. Does everyone start again as a blank player?
3. Basically is it good? Any major issues/bugs that effect gameplay?

That should help a bit. You restart with all your levels at level 1 and do everything over again. I haven't noticed any issues with it and for the most part i think its pretty good. I forgot what it was like to be a noob :p

1) Their "goal" is to make it members only with no additional fees. I'm guessing the votes will be inflated to that value. If the poll hits 750k votes it'll have an F2P option. But 750k member votes is highly unlikely (which is why Jagex set such an unrealistic goal for F2P options).
2) Everyone starts out fresh.
3) No bugs so far that I've noticed.

Personally I enjoy it. It's the first time ever I've had to barter my supplies for other supplies :D

hmm I might check it out sometime next weekend. My only issue is I don't want to buy a months membership only to end up playing for just a few hours. I guess it looks like I will have no other option though

You might be better off buying it in a month or two. The game is really slow paced since nobody has anything yet. Once the economy grows a bit the game should move faster.

Agree with roflme, impossible to get your hands on something as simple as a iron pick.

it runs pretty well, probably same as it did in 2007. I have come across a few text errors/glitches in quest dialogues but thats about it

oh wow thanks for the offer. I would have wanted to play my main regardless though due to its name and friends list… I'm sure there are many members of the community who would take you up on that though!

its ok im not gna use them like i sed ex farm accs lol im not gna broadcast it due to the ammount of java users over here atm i trust srl not pb if u know any 1 who is need of there 07 fix and cant get access pm there name and i will contact them =)

The poll has to hit 500k, not 750k for it to be F2P. It's already at 412k, so not really an unrealistic goal :p
