What is your general programming knowledge?
I learnt how to manage a basic script awhile back. I created an autodung afk with anti ban and was working on adding a teleport feature so that it would go to the ladder but then idungpro by kiko got released :s

Many people used this script since at the time of the release the best way to effectively train dung was by leeching from a
professional dung clan. At the time of this script release the only way to not log out of a dungeon was to either use an autoclicker that used your computers mouse so as not to log out or to write your own simba script. I think that many people benefited greatly from this script including senior SRL members as it saved them the bother of having to moniter their leeching accounts as well as having autoban and not losing their computer's mouse functionality. Until the release of Idungeon on powerbot this script was the only public dungeon script (well it catered to dungeoneerers needs) on simba. I did receive some praise but I also received quite alot of criticism much of which was not constructive and was purely flaming me. I tried to deal with this in a mature and professional manner.

"Due to popular demand I have decided to create an afk script with anti-ban in order to help people afk while they leech dungeon floors.

V2 will anti ban once every 90-200secs (between 1 min 30secs to 3 mins 20secs)

Ok so i wrote up part of the code that will complete the dungeon when "Gte" is read in the chatbox. So far it will use group gatestone teleport as soon as it is called. I wont have time or energy to complete this till a couple of weeks from now due to exams.

I then modified the anti ban due to requests by many users, I also explained to them how they could modify it themselves

I have been in this community for sometime and I have tried to learn slowly but surely how to script. I hope to get better now that 2007 scape is out as I had quit due to the eoc and I was only occasionally bridding on runecore.

Sorry, but the script is not advanced enough, and you are definitely not active enough either.

Start working on something more advanced, be a helpful member of the community, and your chances will be greatly improved :)

This guy was overly critical of my script in my thread:

plenty of people used my script and even thanked me, including SRL members. no one got banned and I myself leeched many dungeons at the time.

He claimed at the time that it anti banned too often. I made a post explaining how to change the time between anti-bans in the thread's first post. I eventually released a later version where the script anti banned at longer intervals. At first he was just giving feedback but then he changed to flame mode as the quote demonstrates.

His comment in this thread demonstrates that he is still somehow very angry with me and seems to be highly critical without any positive aspect to his comments nor advice on to improve. I thought it said that you should only vote if you can be unbiased and objective……


I do understand that although many people used my script in the past it was basic and there is much room for improvement.

Script looks a bit basic, activity is too low and your standards aren't quite up to scratch.

Nice try, unfortunately I'm looking for a bit more to pass as member's worthy.
I'd love to see another Aussie around in the member's section so please read up on some tutorials like this one:

Things I personally look for in a good member's application:
- activity
- helpful personality
- willingness to learn
- reasonable script
– TPAs
– Walking
– Procedures and functions
– Anti-ban(while your script is solely anti-ban, I like to see effective use of anti-ban throughout the completion of other activities i.e. fishing)
– Cases
– Loops

If you don't know what any of the above elements of scripting are have a read through some tutorials or shoot me a PM and I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Please take the advice given above and check out the tutorial section to learn some more advanced techniques. Also involve yourself in the community and get to know us! That is a big part of being a member at SRL.
