About to go to the store to get Game of Thrones Season 2 since it came out a few days ago. But I don't know if I should buy it on Blu Ray or DVD. I don't have a Blu Ray player but my laptop plays them. I also have an HDMI cable but it's just more of a hassle and I've experienced lag using the HDMI as well. I've never used a Blu Ray disc before. Is it worth it?

Idk about which to get but if you have the money and really want it, get the most convenient version. You may also try to ask the people at the store to see what they recommend you getting, blueray or DVD. Tell them your story..

it might not be your hdmi cable giving u lag, your tv might not be good enough and forced to run on a lower frame rate, i have 2 and one runs smooth 60hz, the other is choppy and hdmi will only work 30 hz

My theory is if its an action show you want bluray … if its not regular dvd is fine. For Game of Thrones I would suggest you cant go wrong with bluray but thats assuming you have a bluray player and a TV big enough to enjoy the show. 52inch sony bravia xbr 6 FTW!!!
