Question is simple. I have been looking for jar ,found name, but could not find link to it. So I do not know how to edit srl.

It would be great thing to use SMART there ,because running VM is just pain and so complicated.

VMing is easier than smart tbh :/

I am running Windows XP VM in Vmware and it takes too much resources and HDD space to run Simba there. SMART is more comfortable.

any luck with this?

Sorry, But a VM is really your only choice unless you want to do a lot of hard and confusing work.

Editing smart params
Edit and replace line 38 in SRL/SRL/misc/SmartParams.simba
Edit and replace lines 292 and 294

^ Add ,-1 if you're using Smart7.. recommend to update to smart8.

Setting RSReady to TRUE always
Edit SRL/SRL/core/login.simba and replace RSReady function

Removing NavBar Height
Edit SRL/SRL/core/globals.simba and replace the SRL_ResetNavBar procedure


That should be it.. {$DEFINE SMART} as usual, and always SetupSRL;
EDIT: Removed all code, I don't want people leeching this and gaining access to smart this early on.. information is here, do it yourself if you can figure it out.

After three hours of trial and error, I managed to get it working based off the tips provided in SeanStar's post. Thanks Sean :).

feel like this is going to be the hard part. im stuck on this part too. best of luck figuring it out.

i get stuck with the failed to grab smart params also. been playing with it for ages, cant get it :/

Ok. I've been working on this off and on between school and free time for a while. Would someone that has done it be willing to pm me a hint/let me bounce ideas off of them? It would be greatly appreciated.

I feel the same way. I know the basics of each but without being to clarify them I am getting nowhere.

The exact same situation, I have basic knowledge but not knowing which parameter points where is just asking for a failure…

Eeeegh.

For starters print out the first index of the parameters that are being passed. I won't give code but the array you need to check is called 'Params'.
My last hint would be check how SMART loads EoC Scape, then see what needs to be changed for 07scape. That's the best I can do without giving it out :/

Edit: I kind of figured out how it works, but the old RuneScape doesn't have something like http://www.runescape.com/game.ws?j=1 where everything begins so I can't fix it.

Took me 2 minutes to figure this out it's not that hard :S

Figured out most of it.. just on the line 292 & 294 now..

Can't work out 292 and 294, I presume it's something to do with the '[0]' and '[1]' or the 765 and 553, but i'm probably way off!

Look on SRL github.

If someone is willing to help out with the correct codes in all edit to be done for the 07 client that'd be great, I spent 4 hours getting rid of the anti-leech in the essence miner and now this..I mean..I know you guys want to learn us stuff but why also in SMART.

The default SMART is without anti-leech so I suppose it's OK to spread this one too..it's useless without a script anyways..

I can get SMART to load, but it doesn't do any mouse movements or keyboard actions, even on a working script, unless i'm implementing it wrongly.
