Things just got serious
A lot of people on the RS Forums and on another forum started making threads within the past hour of how they have been banned from botting:
Woodcutting
Firemaking
Combat
And then I found this

lol, im going to legit until i know botters are safe in 07..

Yet another completionist banned. Was he botting on RS07 or normal RS?

Im not sure how the ban works, but Im assuming that if you get banned on main, that means you are banned on the 07 servers as well?

If that's his main that's banned, hows he posting on the forum?

When you get banned on your main/throwaway, you can still post on the forums, depending on what offence was placed on your account/how many strikes.
The thread was locked and hidden, because too many players were hating on him and spamming 'GF KID'

So he never confirmed if that was his main or if he had another account.

What made flagged him up?

Maybe his name was passed on to the hlf or was botting one of those 3 skills, not sure

I think there's also something to consider; what bot the person used. If it was simba, he could gain as much experience as he wanted with decent scripts ;)

Any who, I'd also throw out there, be safe when botting. :]

Was probably from PB because I was checking the threads out and most of them were from 1-3 wc scripts, particularly ivy

The players who got banned were botting these 3 skills in the current main eoc servers, not 07

Well, i was botting slayer about 5 minutes before 07 servers came up and mines fine, its probably a back log of reports on him and they just banned him at that point

Honestly, being comp caped and botting in open areas (wc and such), you're just asking to be banned

plus on the hlf they actively seek maxed players to report dont they?

Oh my bad lol, I meant that the bans occured a day after the 07 servers were released, and the completionist guy got banned after botting on main, switch to 07, and then banned once he got back on main

I wonder if the 07 severs were related to the ban… I don't see any reason why they would, but the timing is rather suspicious :p

Kinda nice to see high level accounts go out of the game. High level accounts are too common nowadays. At least I know I'm safe because I only use Simba ;).

Personally love when high level accounts get banned, Particularly max/comp capes.

I have a 100% legit main i love playing the game on,. thats 2450+ total and over 800mil xp. checking my rankings this morning and i gained about 40k ranks overall in skills when i gained no xp. Yay <333 free rankssss

200m dg , only reason i trained overall stats is for dg alone. Love the skill. Would of quit rs without it.

Im still confused, that means that 600m of your xp is in other skills (2330 total).


Reason being im 2496 total with about 160M dg xp and only have ~630m xp lol.

Mhm, I did speed floors/leechs/record flrs for about 16 months pretty much non stop. over 100m str xp and 60m range from dging alone (only a little bit from slayer).
I hate slow skills, but idm buyables , So i got enough xp through buyables (mainly herb and pray) that when i finally max. Ill be ranked in top 1k rs . Which has been my main goal for a long time.

Only reason i really learned to script was to get money for buyables. most are 15-20gp/xp atm . expensive :(

Anyways thats not really ontopic so we go back to topic :P

Ahh that explains most of it hehe.
Only about 60M str, but gotten about 12M from KK release date LOL

Don't request to join the HLF until you're completely done botting on your account (2496). Doesn't seem too complicated. People botting "just for xp" are asking for it, though.

I'm a member on a lot of forums. Only actually active on probably powerbot and sometimes bugabuse. Completely different name on rs.

wow thats terrible to hear! i cant see how the 07 servers would lead to the ban, had to of been just a coincident
