I have always seen people on Powerbot bash color bots, but now that they don't have a 2007 botting method I like how all the people have suddenly migrated to here :D

We had people go to powerbot, zasz was a good member and went to powerbot cause he could sell scripts there.

I am using powerbot more to script but I hate the community there so I stay here for the community. lol

I just came over to explore script writing over here ( for fun and experience ) :( It's not like I'm one of the 'bad people' over at pb :p ( except for supporting the goldfarmers, but that's where the sales are )

This community does seem a lot more mature though, which is nice.

Ah yeah, shortly after that period I stopped playing/botting Runescape, I kind of just came back recently because of rs07. I miss those times though.

I joined around when the navbar update happened, but that was just bad timing on my part. I was one of the many confused noobs that had flooded the forums :D

The same thing happened when the first nuke happened, I can't tell if that was worse than this, but it feels like there more users here today than what happened after the first nuke

Heres what I got from google trends
First one is from 2004-now, second is past 12 months

I don't even think there is going to be many public rs07 scripts most of them will be membs, or at least all the good ones. So all the newcomers might be dissapointed

Figured I would say hi for a bit too.. I joined awhile back to learn how to script, I never really released anything, but I have learned how to make my own scripts and use them. This is Decoy by the way. :P

I came here after the bot nuke but I decided to stay because now I know colour botting is a lot safer and I have learnt a lot from this community.

Thread is derailed, so let me join :D
I came here for the first time because I was getting bored of crafting water runes for that lumbridge task… I had used scar like once before (don't even remember account credentials) so I thought I'd try to find a water crafter- and guess what, there was one, and it got me the task done. Then I got some more scripts (everyone used reflection!), then found out about java bots, used them for a bit, got hacked by them on the way, and stuck here after the botnuke and learned scripting last summer :D

They will leave eventually.

I rly hope they dont all come here and just leave…
