was just wondering if the 2007 smart severs will be public so we can make our own scripts :)?

Probably not from a member here, it is open source though.. and the way I understand it, all you have to do is point it to the correct server

ah right, so can some tell use how to point to that sever? or is that seen as leeching/not going to happen?

I can tell you it's within smart params. All I'm going to say.

I'm sure after awhile everyone will let up and the majority of 2007 stuff will be public, just requires some patience :)

Yea, eventually powerbots going to destroy the 2007 server(s?) and it won't matter

hopfully xD but untill that happens i just wonted to have ago at making my own stuff using smart

Think Paris ran into some legal issues.
Will take a while before Powerbot has their 2007 bot up.

I mean no disrespect and I understand the desire to keep the leechers from having access to it… but for people like me who have been around here for a while and have been a loyal tester of many scripts, it is sort of a weird feeling being denied the ability to play around with botting the '07 servers…. kind of wish there was a level of SRL for folks who have actively participated and stuck around during the good and bad times here. A friend and I have collaborated trying to write scripts…but nothing we come up with is original is something worthy of submittal to SRL since it seems a lot of the things we have fiddled with has been done (over and over and over) to the point we feel no matter what we as beginners create that it always will seem like we cloned stuff somehow. I am always told by the various folks that I give feedback to that my testing is greatly appreciated and I would like to believe that folks like myself serve the community in our own ways….

Anyways, so perhaps the committee could explore this "alternate" membership that could reward those who are "Simba-ites" and not the rats that jump to the blank-bot proggies when it "is easier"…

There's no server, smart just needs to load the jar, which requires some changes, the working version will be made public soon I'm sure :)

I saw some guy post the smart params for it I think it's actually really easy to load

Smart just needs the .jar app address AFAIK

Which is a different server, all RS worlds are different servers, that's all I meant with my other posts

Meh, when your user id is less then 1000 you can pull the "ive been here for a while" card.
