Hello.
Sorry if I'm posting this to wrong sections, I just don't unterestand one thing, isn't RSbot bit better for botting? I mean all those antiban and special stuff in RSbot which Simba doesn't have.
For me, simba scripts looks like a simple clicker for me, isn't it? And RSbot seems to be more human like ..
or? I'm just RS script/bot user, so I'm asking you, pros.. :)
Ty for answers

What do they have we don't?
Also we are just a different kind of bot. We try to find (complex) algorithms on the screen, RSbot uses injection of code.

Rsbot does't have any "special stuff". Its closed source. you cant see any of the acutal antiban/code for the scripts.
Secondly , Simba is ALOT more safe then rsbot, Simba uses color and images to do its work, which is exactly the same thing a human does. Where has rsbot breaks into the client and uses client data(thus making it alot easier to detect)
Only advantage rsbot has over simba is that it can do more advanced things easier (like a dungeonering script) since you can just use item or NPC id's and not colors.
Simba has as much antiban as you want it to :)
Also if you name something RSBot can do I'm almost sure Simba can too. (I'm not saying that RSBot has nothing that Simba doesn't have, I'm just saying that that list is small and not very important :D)
Obviously Minigages, dung, ect, but that's almost it.
It all depends on the script, and if your using RSbot chances are 5,000 other people are using the same script which makes it easy for jagex to detect, in terms of flexibility and reliability, I guess you could say RSbot can do more then simba and in some cases it is more reliable (looting) but Simba scripts are still pretty reliable, and Overall Simba>Rsbot
Just compare:

add as much as you want, that's the best thing about being able to edit any script, no?
you can add trillions of procedures for antiban if you want.

^ This haha how can you talk about antiban when rsbot ban rate is wayyyyyyy higher than ours
I think they're way more focussed on dealing with pbot though

Definitely, we're not a priority for them.

Let me answer this question with a question. What do you want to bot for?
When comparing these bots, you have to consider what they stand for. Powerbot is there to provide you with the most efficient, most enduring bot possible. Designed to play Runescape, and entirely eliminate the human aspect of your character. To become the character.
Here at SRL, we have a slightly different attitude. I wasn't here at the formation, but it was a group of programmers getting together, and just seeing what they could do. We just wanted to gain that minor edge while we had other things on. I know for one that I would just watch my bot to see what it could do. Several of us don't even bot any more, myself included, we're just here for the ride :)
So, back to the original question I asked, what do you want from a bot? Here you get a community, great friends. For some it has shaped their future (or mine at least). At Powerbot, you get that bot you're looking for. If you just want to bot, I'm afraid this isn't the prime place for you.

I find it interesting that Richard offers the more philosophical aspect of the difference of the two bots. I believe that he pinpoints that the two community are extremely different.
As for the technical aspect, the difference between the two bot is their method, i.e injection versus colour. What can be done with these two methods is fairly similar. A simba bot can be just as enduring and efficient as a powerbot one. I'm convinced that there are plenty of private simba bots which would make you go "wow" as well as some public ones.

Not another one of these bot comparison threads. :( Most of the time they end up in hate posts.

A bajillion people use PB so they are more easily detected.

I don't know what kind of answer you were expecting, clearly we are more biased towards Simba.

Rsbot is EASIER…. using their hooking techniquesinto the Jagex client the bot KNOWS what it is looking at without even looking at it… where as Simba must recognize what it sees via color and shape recognition which is much more involved.
Jagex of course can use Rsbots ALLL KNOWING against itself… such as making invisible items that the ID is there, BUT a legit player cannot see at all….sorta a dead give away to Jagex when you go get that invisible item, No?
Rsbot is detectable too by the very nature of it hooking into the client… whereas Simba sees what you and I would see and nothing more or less. From my basic and possibly flawed knowledge seems toindicate that the Open GL bots that you do not mention though are able to for the most part have the advantages of the injection (rsbot, epic bot) but are using the info within your video card hence NOT hooking into the client and are supposedly far less detectable. There is talk that in time Simba may have full Open Gl support…but read around the forums here for what is up there since I havent looked recently.
If you are asking which one I would run… Simba 100% since the other bots are detectable plus their community is less than stellar when it comes to the trust factor…..
Anyways…. hope this was helpful…

OGL interception has been worked on for a while here, but it's in beta AFAIK. The theory that interception is undetectable is a debated subject. No one knows for sure whether or not Jagex
would detect it, but they can detect just about anything through use of the JVM. For example, they can look at your open applications, but there are legal issues behind all of this (this is why we used to disguise the SCAR application by calling it MSN or similar). Realistically, you're never safe when computerised mouse inputs.
The main advantage of interception is that it makes you look uber l33t if you can program it.
