SRL Archive - Banned from RS

Sooooo… Jagex did it again :p

This was my script development account with 99 cooking/firemaking and 5 million coins. :p

I was planning on making another script that makes urns at the crafting guild and then went to explore a little. Went to the chicken yard north of the EoC trainer and picked up all the eggs then WHAM YOU HAVE BEEN DETECTED FOR BOTTING!

Clearly automated ban and 'appealable'. (like that's going to happen though)

Goodjob Jagex, although what's with the double ban? And what's with permanent macroing goldfarming? Ehhh… I feel like I'm safer botting than actually playing that game. ;)

Some more juicy details:
Botted 99 firemaking in 4 days or so using my script. Uhmmm that's it. Didn't bot anything else. (ban had nothing to do with that though)
My only account I'll - have to make a new one now *urghh If I can even be bothered to do that*. Never transferred any money on it. Just grand exchange trading if anything.

So this makes me wonder. How do they come to these conclusions? :o @JagexHQ:: Macroing goldfarmer has a nice ring to it Jagex, but really. You're a bunch of racists. Just because I live in China doesn't mean I'm a goldfarmer haha!

Very weird, I bot more or less 24/7 and they leave me alone :/

How could they class firemaking as Goldfarming? You must have done something in the past that they assumed you goldfarmed?

Yes I live in China as a foreigner and like I said I didn't do any other botting on that account.
I have reasons to believe that this was an automated ban and had nothing to do with botting firemaking.

and whats even more stupid is that they put two strikes on your account/two bans from the image you posted
Either someone is new at the ICU team or something else is up

You can always email [email]accounthelp@jagex.com[/email] and try seeing if you can get it unbanned with a bs reason
They respond within an hour or two, way quicker than whoever they hire, if they have anyone hired to read through the appeals lol

I only botted firemaking and the ban wasn't for that so I wouldn't worry about that. I got banned while actually playing the game by triggering the BotWatch anti-macro system. Just trying to figure out how.
Quickly clicking on the same type of main screen object/NPC?

Seriously though, the ban was definitely because of your location. You probably have an IP close to some goldfarming company Jagex banned.

1) All chinese people should be banned. (jks me not racist <3)

For 1.You know I'm German… Can't believe you forgot our kinky skype video session already! Too busy making fun of me with Brad these days, hmm? :p
As for 2. … No I won't say it.

Anyway, this is the second time this happened. First time it was with over a thousand playing hours, half-way to getting the maximum cape without any botting or buying gold whatsoever.
After that I made this account and did some quests on it while I still had trial membership like monkey madness and got 99 cooking so I'm not sure about the time I spent on it.
When I finally got out of my addiction that's the account I used for testing. Honestly, I just don't feel like making a new account and training all those little levels up again just so I can use it for testing and get banned for no reason again. Even then, there's always Ashaman's like you said Killer and nobody will bother with it anyway.

I need to get a life. All this SRL scripting and talking in forums doesn't help much with that either. Even though I'd be bored to death without it. Most people I know still go to high school so only week-ends I go out clubbing and the jobs I'm doing don't fill that much time either. The girl I'm seeing right now is nice, but it still feels like something is missing in my life…like a real purpose. Can't wait to go to school next year.
Not sure why I'm getting emotional about getting banned on Runescape since I don't play anymore. I guess that addiction never really goes away or maybe I'm just annoyed at having to script on a level 1 in everything account if I ever get around to creating it.
